After visiting the Beach House, Cornwall Today wrote: ‘when it comes to front line properties the Beach House is the epitome of seaside venues’.

This property is in the VILLAGE of PORT ISAAC It features breath taking sea views, a chic interior and a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Outside there's a Chablis balcony, sun terrace, courtyard, large garden and PARKING FOR 7 CARS The 40ft conservatory looks out to sea, and there's also a games room, sauna and free wi-fi. In terms of activities, there are two golf courses nearby, as well as a surf school and a cycle track from Wadebridge to Padstow. The South West coastal footpath is just 200m away. The house itself is located in Port Isaac, a beautiful fishing village that some may recognise as Port Wenn, as featured on the hit TV series Doc Martin . Star of the show Martin Clunes and the rest of the cast can often be seen around the village, and are kind enough to be photographed with holiday makers in between shots. The latest series will start filming early 2015 ....Sleeps 12 Adults 5 children.

We already had a cottage in Port Isaac when the St

Andrews Hotel came on the market in 2002.

The renovation took two years and involved taking the building back to its 1890 fabric.

Colin, who has been a professional photographer for 40 years for National papers and magazines, was very much hands on with a small dedicated team from the village to rebuild the Beach House to what it is now.

We absolutely adore Port Isaac which has the most

lively and welcoming community you could ever wish for.

Julie runs her own Solicitors' practice just outside Bath, and looks forward to catching up with the many friends we have there.

The comments in the visitors book tells us that the love and care put into the house has given so much to so many.

There are two gorgeous harbour beaches.

What makes this house unique

There are two gorgeous harbour beaches – one at Port Isaac and the other at Port Gaverne just around the bay. There are lovely places to eat and masses of fresh seafood brought in by the Port Isaac fishermen every day. You can even buy your own from the fish cellars and have fresh crab sandwiches on the sun terrace at the Beach House looking out to sea, or pop across to the Beach House Chablis balcony and watch the boats going in and out of Port Gaverne.

As promised, here is my review .

We had our first holiday at Beach House 3 years ago – and keep on returning, simply because it has so much to offer. It is rare to find a house of this standard in such a stunning location that has en-suite bathrooms and caters so well for a large group. And accepts dogs!

It is very well equipped with plenty of mugs, glasses, plates and pans – on one occasion we had the full complement of 16 guests and managed to seat everyone round the table.

There is also plenty of space and comfortable seating allowing everyone to spend time as they choose – whether it be watching tv, sitting in the conservatory to enjoy the view or playing pool in the games room.

The location is excellent for walks, and has good pubs/places to eat. It’s even better now the Co-op has been refurbished - we managed to do all our shopping there this year, which is a bonus as it saves driving to Wadebridge.

Beach House is a great place for a large family or group of friends. We will have happy memories of our get-togethers there.

There is a co-op in the village, guests that have a shop & drop either with Sainsbury,s or Tesco, deliveries should be made after 3-30pm. 18 the Terrace Port Isaac PL29 3SG Outside: Two large tables in the courtyard with seating. Outside shower to wash down surfing wetsuits etc plus a BBQ. On the sun deck is seating tables and a garden seat swing. Plus of course the chabilis balcony which looks down to the beach and across to Tintagel castle.(Adults must accompany children ) Utility Room: Washing machine, freezer, tumble dryer, sink and extra fridge. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: ALL bed linen and beds are made up And are changed each week on changeover day Friday. Towels ARE supplied (Bath/Hand. Other: Lounge two large sofas, TV, Hifi, DVD. Tables, wood-burner. Fold back doors to 40ft conservatory. The GAMES ROOM has FREE pool table, , Full size table Tennis as well as a Sauna and shower and Toilet

We were so impressed with the layout games room all facilities we enjoyed it so much that we are looking to book again the conservatory was great in the evening when we all chilled out plenty of sofas and views to die for .

Hard to beat!

What a fantastic house with stunning views that are guaranteed to take your breath away. The house takes full advantage of it's situation with the majority of the bedrooms having sea views together with the main reception rooms. We were lucky enough to have brilliant weather but if the English weather lets you down, the conservatory is in prime position to make the most of the views. We were a party of 14 and 3 generations. There was enough space to rub shoulders when you wanted but find some peace when you didn't. We all came together at meal times where we could eat at the large table in front of that view and make use of the well equipped kitchen. The games room provided endless entertainment and the variety of outside spaces meant you could enjoy the sun all day long. The location was perfect too. To one side was a short work into quirky Port Isaac. We enjoyed the pubs, takeaways, shops, fish market and live music on the beach. To the other side was beautiful Port Gavern with it's pretty bay and handy hotel. It's not often you can find a quiet beach with a cold beer watching the kids play safely in the rock pools. The neighbours, house keepers and property owners went out of their way to help us. All the ingredients for a wonderful holiday. I couldn't recommend it enough and can't wait to go back!

What a fantastic place!

We were a group of 12 adults most of whom were celebrating 30 years of marriage. From the moment we entered the house, after Colin was there to greet us and help with car parking, we had the most wonderful long weekend. We had already viewed the house online and were very excited but the reality was even better. We were particularly surprised by the amount of outdoor space available to us. To say the kitchen in particular was well equipped was an understatement. There was plenty of everything even when the dishwasher was full of what we had used previously. The house was spotless and the views are to die for! Scones on our arrival was a nice touch also. We had beautiful weather but we knew if it hadnt been we would never have been bored - we had a mini tournament on Sunday afternoon in the games room where everyone was occupied at the same time! The village is walking distance and we brought back fish and chips for our supper on the first evening. We have already booked to come here again in December 2016 for a long weekend. It is very good value for money. We have no hesitation in recommending this gem we have found and been fortunate enough to enjoy.

Booking the Beach House is done via the OWNERS DIRECT site , or beach house web site www.beachhousecornwall.co.uk where a email booking form is available. A deposit will hold the booking and final payment to be made six weeks prior.
A £300 refundable deposit is held to cover breakages and house being left in
a reasonable order .

Friday changeover arrival time after 3-30pm departure 10am.
