This is a modern, beautifully furnished, luxury, south facing, ground floor apartment on the prestigious 5 star Roda Golf and Beach Resort. Ideal for families, singles and golfers alike. We are wheelchair friendly and child friendly. We have bikes, golf clubs, beach gear and golf clubs for which we do not charge extra. We can also provide a travel cot with extra mattress for comfort, a highchair, car booster seats, toys, books, bathroom step/bath toys and plastic crockery - again no charge for these. We also have electric black out blinds and 24 hour patrolled security. There is a large double terrace with table, chairs and sun loungers that overlooks the communal pool and landscaped gardens. All mod cons – Wifi, flat screen TV (with English channels), DVD player, iPod speakers, bedside clock, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine. Ideal for self catering, close to supermarkets but also close to plenty of restaurants and bars.

Rebecca and Adam - 11 year old daughter, 8 year old son, a dog and a cat. I work in a primary school as Business Manager which I love and my husband is in banking. We try to go to Roda as much as possible - the children absolutely love it over there and as soon as we arrive they put in their requests for which restaurant to eat at, which beach to visit and what to buy in the supermarket - serrano ham, olives, marinated anchovies, fat juicy tomatoes, fresh fish, juicy steaks and delicious Spanish wine - need I say more! Some lovely restaurants close by - El Patio is our favorite - traditional busy restaurant with delicious reasonably priced food!

The Mar Menor is perfect for the children with its shallow waters. We are close to the airport. And the main reason of course - the sun shines most of the year - much better than UK! Fabulous restaurants close by, gorgeous pool and a home from home full of luxury!

Notes on accommodation: Air-conditioning throughout. Ceiling fan in living area. Smoking is permitted only on the terrace. Wifi in the apartment (available on request) and in the clubhouse (free). We also have a selection of children's books, games and toys. There are electric black out blinds in the lounge and master bedroom and a manual black out blind in the second bedroom making it very dark and peaceful at night (no waking up with the sunrise!) Outside: Large double terrace overlooking stunning pool and gardens. Table, 4 chairs, 2 sun loungers and outside lighting. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels provided except beach towels. Other: The large south facing sun terrace is furnished with table, chairs and sun beds and just a few steps away from the shared pool and gardens. There is also a children's play park (within the resort) almost opposite the front door.

Great holiday again at Roda this time in a different apartment but nothing disappointed!!

Lovely apartment, clean, great location gets the sun all day and safe if you have kids. Loads of stuff kids to play with and the bugs were a good bonus!!! Will hopefully be booking again soon.

Lovely apartment, evrything you need,great pool

We booked up at the last minute, the day before our trip in fact, after another apartment on another resort nearby had cancelled our booking, and we appreciated the effort and Adam made to sort us out.The flat was clean and had absolutely everything you could need including toys for our little one and all the beach stuff. There were bikes and golf clubs too.

The place was perfect if you have kids and we loved the patio and garden, the pool was great and water temperature ideal.

There was some building work going on in other apartments which kind of spoiled the experience a little although it was only two of our 6 days there and they finished off before we left.

It was very quiet when we were there although with the set up of the apartments if you get noisy neighbours it maybe wouldn't be so enjoyable (although I suppose that rule applies anywhere)

All in all a lovely stay in a lovely apartment and our thanks to the hosts for getting us sorted out at such late notice

Beautiful, high spec and comfortable apartment, in a perfect position

The apartment is superbly located, with the terrace facing the pool, so you can always see your kids, or virtually step in to the pool to cool down, at will. Sun on the terrace from early morning until at least 3pm, making breakfast very pleasant, and evening meals very relaxed. Everything you could need, to truly self cater, and not to mention the insanely comfortable bed (not often I prefer an away bed to my own). Car parking is available (if you have one) underground, so no boiling hot car when you want to go anywhere. The owners are lovely, very helpful, loads of useful info to make your stay as easy as possible, 'mi casa su casa' has never been more relevant in this case. The complex has all the amenities you may need, with a shop, 24 hour security, restaurant (that does breakfast, lunch and dinner should you wish), and loads of sports facilities, e.g. Gym, Golf, Tennis courts, children's play areas etc. There is an hourly bus service in the summer, though we didn't use it. I recommend a car, if only to experience more of the region. Cartagena is beautiful, Los Alcazares old town is a must, and the Med beaches of Bolneuvo and Mazaron are very good. Cala Cortina near Cartagena is a little gem (busy, popular with locals) but great for snorkelling or rock jumping, and is a netted cove, so very safe for swimming. I love this area, resort, and apartment in particular. Already planning the return trip. Hasta Luego

The property is beautifully furnished, well placed for swimming pool and back entrance. Next to children's play area and always easy to find parking - outside or undercover. The details about places to visit and eat are extensive and very detailed. The club House offers great menues and their sangria is definitely the best in the area. I have recommende the place to many people and cannot wait for our next visit.

Only 5 minutes from the white sand beaches of the Mar Menor where gently sloping beaches in the sea and little or no waves makes it perfect for families with children. The resort has access to a stunning beach club on the Mediterranean coast accessible by car or by a ferry service across the Mar Menor - there is a charge for entry unless you are eating.


10 minutes to Murcia Airport (MJV). 1 hour to Alicante Airport (ALI)

Car hire recommended although taxis are available and there is a small shop on site plus the clubhouse bar and restaurant.


Close to local restaurants, supermarkets and bars - all within a 5 - 10 min drive.

Further Details:

Roda and the surrounding area are very Spanish and benefit from a thriving local community with plenty of shops, markets and restaurants waiting to be discovered. The local beaches are fantastic and you can walk/cycle for miles along the local beach promenade stopping off for drinks/food along the way. The Costa Calida lies between the Costa Blanca and Costa Almeria. The area enjoys approx. 300 days of sunshine every year and has an average temperature of 21 degrees. The Murcia region remains largely unspoilt with many beautiful beaches and stunning scenery. Los Alcazares lies next to the Mar Menor, which is Europe’s largest saltwater lagoon with more than 43 miles of coast. It is well known for its warm tranquil and salty water, rich in health giving minerals. As well as Los Alcazares beach, the Costa offers a number of blue flag rated beaches, the vast majority are sandy beaches. There are also the famous mud baths and the shallow waters are safe for bathing and water sports. The clubhouse is stunning and has a formal "fine dining" restaurant and a less formal indoor and outdoor restaurant/snack bar which does cocktails, salads, tapas, pizza, pasta and great burgers. During the summer there is live music at the weekends and a nightclub on the roof terrace.

The resort also boasts a gym and tennis courts for guests to use. Charges apply.
