Sunset Gardens provides you with an ideal base for exploring all Cyprus has to offer or simply enjoy this peaceful location. Based in the non commercialised village of Pervolia, where there are tavernas and a very "local" feel. Faros Beach offers water sports and sunbeds. Or within a short drive you have access to a selection of designer and high street shops, international restaurants and tavernas. If you are travelling with children you can visit WaterWorld or The Camel Park. The apartment has remote-controlled air-conditioning and a balcony that overlooks the sea where you can enjoy your early morning coffee.

Martin and Chrissie here, thank you for looking at my apartment in the beautiful traditional village of Pervolia. We live with in South Wales in the UK with our 5 children. We try and get out to my apartment in Cyprus when we can - although not so easy with 5 children which is why I let it out throughout the year for others to enjoy.

We bought the property to enjoy the sunny climate Cyprus has to offer in an authentic and unspoilt area. Our property is in the perfect location: 10 minutes drive from Larnaca airport so a very easy transfer, situated in a quieter part of Cyprus in a charming village that has all you need. You can wander the cobbled streets of Pervolia, walk to the beach or explore further afield. We enjoy the diversity the island has to offer... stunning scenery ranging from beautiful coastline with golden sandy beaches, swimming in the Mediterranean sea to visiting the island's archaeological sites, enjoying a drink or meal in one of the many tavernas or fish Restaurants and chatting to the locals to relaxing by the pool... just enjoying the year-round warmth of the sun....

What makes this apartment unique

Located in the quiet village of Pervolia you can completely relax, enjoy the scenery and soak up the sunshine. Being close to Larnaca gives you easy access either by Bus, car or taxi to major shops and services if you need them.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment was constructed in 2009 and has been furnished throughout to the highest standard. Our apartment is located on the first floor which is serviced by both a lift and stairs. With only 16 apartments in the complex you can enjoy a private relaxing holiday either by the shared pool or roof top terrace watching the sun go down. Outside: There is a pool available for all guests - this is shared with any other guests who are staying at the resort at the same time. There is also a roof-top communal seating area that boasts a stunning view of the spectacular scenery. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Fluffy towels are provided for use within the apartment and towels for use at the pool. Linen is provided and there is a welcome pack available for a minimal charge upon request that includes essentials after your journey. Other: The property comprises of Large communal swimming pool, a shared roof terrace with stunning views. Parking area. lift.

Lovely stay in Pervolia cyprus

The apartment is quite close to the airport, only about 20 mins easy drive so very convenient, and with easy access to the apartment you can be there within a hour of landing.

The property was very clean on arrival with all we needed for a 2 week stay.Two lovely bedrooms with loads of storage, a fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge overlooking open fields with the sea beyond. Outside is a private pool which was cleaned 3 times during our stay, as were the public areas, with ample sunbeds and mainly we had this to ourselves.

There is also parking under the apartments so that your car is cool and sheltered.the Village is small but has lots of restaurants and bars, and there are more going towards Faros beach, with what we think is the best restaurant, The Art Cafe,situated by the lighthouse overlooking the sea. Other restaurants in Pervolia you must try are Pyrgos and Mafi where you will be welcomed nad eat well at reasonable prices. There is an excellent supermarket in the village but there are more in Kiti including a Lidl which is great and another just fyrther away towards the airport for all your needs.

Road network is good and was not too busy with easy access to Larnaca, Limassiol, Ayia Napa and the Salt Lakes by the airport are a must to visit.

Highly recommended for a relaxed stay or as a base for adventure with or without a car as the bus service is good and cheap.

A well maintained, comfy apartment

My husband and I really like this apartment and have now stayed here four times in total. Furnished to a high standard, it is very comfortable, bright and airy with a lovely view and the swimming pool is clean and well looked after. We particularly love Pervolia village and this apartment and the village have become our home from home and I have no hesitation in recommending a stay here. The owner is very easy to deal with and very efficient, thank you Martin for all your help.

Really Good Base for our Holiday

The property had everything we needed to ensure a comfortable stay, air-conditioning in the bedrooms was a must, the bathroom is small but fully functional.

Pervolia village is just a walk away and has a good mix of Tavernas where a family of four can eat very reasonably (compared with Britain), in particular we liked Kokoz Taverna and Pogo's, really friendly people.

A five minute drive gets you to the nearby town of Kiti, whilst a fifteen minute drive (Cyprus uses the correct side of road for driving ;-) and you're in Larnaca City, lots to see and do.

Authentic holiday

We had a lovely holiday in this authentic part of Cyprus. The transfer time from Larnaca airport is 15 minutes which eases you into a relaxing holiday instantly. The apartment is furnished to a high standard and is clean, light and airy. There is a nice view and balcony for sitting out at meal times and enjoying eating alfresco. You can walk into the village of Pervoia where you will find friendly locals and tavernas that accommodate all tastes.There is a great pool which is always quiet and situated on the coast there are many beaches to explore. This is an ideal base to explore the rest of the island and there is plenty to visit and enjoy the charm of this historical island.If you are looking for a relaxing and non commercialised holiday you have found the right place - we will definitely return to Sunset Gardens.

relaxing break

Yet another most enjoyable holiday in Pervolia! We have stayed here and in this apartment once or even twice a year for the last 5 years or more and never been disappointed. The apartment is very clean and comfortable and has all you need for your stay, with a nice selection of local restaurants and bars with good food and lovely people. only seen rain twice between the May and November period we normally go and it's always hot enough to get a tan. Close to the airport and with a car close to motorways where you can easily access the rest of the island, or use the local buses which are cheap and stop close by, or if you want just to chill out in peace stay local.

My partner & I stayed here last year & we couldn't fault it, It was clean tidy & furnished to a high standard and very well maintained, The Pool was cleaned regularly. We would definitley recommend it to everyone & will be going back there.

Walking distance from the beach or a short drive to McKenzie Beach - an unspoilt fishing harbour with a selection of fish tavernas.

The shingle, sandy beach is less than 1km away, safe for kids, rarely gets crowded even in the peak season.

Travel:

Sunset Gardens is based 10 minutes drive from the brand new Larnaca Airport. Car hire is only essential if you intend on exploring the area.

Distances:

15km to Larnaca. 0.5km to the centre of Pervolia village.

The sleepy village of Pervolia provides all the essential facilities for an idyllic relaxing holiday, cobbled streets, restaurants, bars, tavernas where you will meet the friendly locals.

Regular bus service to Pervolia and Larnaca.

Festival days - celebrations and markets with local produce and goods,usually 11am-11.30pm - streets closed to traffic.

Diary dates:- 5 May - St Irini - 18 June - St Leontis Jazz/Folk Musical Sundays = March-April-May. Larnaca Festival = July - A month of dance, theatre and music performed by both local and international artists in the courtyard of the Larnaca Medieval Fort, Patticheion Municipal Amphitheatre. Pervolia is a great place for your family holiday as it is quiet, with good local amenities, internet cafes, great restaurants and shops.

The shingle, sandy beach is less than 1km away, safe for kids, rarely gets crowded even in the peak season. Pervolia is approx 12km from Larnaca with an array of shops and attractions to suit.

You can go to all of the Southern Cypriot towns and back in a day! Why not visit :- Ayia Napia for exciting nightlife, or the Camel Park at Mazotos (has a play area for kids), or take a drive to Larnaca where you can enjoy the variety of family water sports at the Alpha Divers Centre near the famous 'Zenobia Ferry Wreck', or visit the Church of Lazarus (1st bishop of Larnaca), or Ayia Phaneromeni - the Phoenician underground chapel, or Choirokhoitia - a UNESCO World heritage site of 1 of the most famous Neolithic settlements dating from 7000 BC - renowned to be 1 of the best-preserved pre-historic sites of the eastern Med, or any 1 of the 6 museums, or Larnaca Port - for a picturesque seafront along with palm tree lined marina - boasting around 200 yachts or why not book a boat day trip or visit Nicosia-the capital for even more!
