CUSTOMERS MUST BE AGED 25 OR OVER, PLEASE. The villa is set well away from the quiet street, not visible from the road. The local village is just a few minutes stroll away, with the town of Chiclana and the sandy blue flag beach of La Barossa about 5 minutes drive; excellent bus routes around town and local areas. Also a good location for cycling/hiking/golf holidays. There are good supermarkets near the town and further a field in San Fernando and Jerez

Ideally sited on the edge of farmland within quiet local village. Town of Chiclana a few minutes away by car; likewise, the blue flag beach of La Barossa. Local buses for town/beach/other locations from the local venta. Great for cycling, hiking and golf. Free WiFi inside villa. Satellite TV (not Sky) brings UK, Spanish and other national television.

We had a lovely family holiday at your villa; the villa was perfect for our family two girls aged 7 & 9 years and a baby. The pool was ideal as it was not to large or intimidating and both girls could touch the bottom, which helped with their confidence in swimming. We thought the welcome basket was a lovely touch after a two day drive from England. The selection of DVD'S appealed to all the family and we took advantage of the English TV on our occasional nights in. Notes on accommodation: Please note that the pool is not enclosed (stops young children from falling in); also, we operate a no smoking policy inside villa so please use patio/porch area where ash trays are provided. There are overhead ceiling fans in lounge and bedroom 1; washing machine outside on concrete area. A new gas boiler for hot water is fitted on outside wall (for safety reasons). Pets permitted. Outside: The sunny garden has crazy paving patio for sunbathing, and circular splash pool depth 1.2 metres and shower. Note: pool is not enclosed. Property is surrounded by a high brick wall for privacy, and surrounding villas are mostly bungalows. Secure off-street parking for several vehicles. Sun loungers and shades provided. Also charcoal BBQ (three leg type). Bath towels / beach towels / beach mats / bed linen/ basic welcome pack is included. Washing up liquid / washing machine liquids supplied. Other: There is a covered front porch with table and chairs for alfresco dining.

An unspoilt region of Spain

If you want a holiday away from it all, this is the place for you. A lovely uncommercialised and unspoilt area of Spain. The whole coastline is gorgeous with long sandy beaches. Cadiz and Gibraltar are well worth a visit. The villa itself is well equipped for a self catering holiday and the pool is a definite bonus and larger than the picture suggests. The weather, as always in this region, was fantastic. A lovely week. Only drawback - surrounding houses all have noisy guard dogs.

Ubicada en sitio muy tranquilo, algo alejado de la playa. Comoda y bien equipada aunque se echa de menos una pequeña mesa en el salon para los dias que no puede comerse fuera (no es habitual pero a veces llueve y hace frio). La cama es enorme y supercomoda!! Los sillones estupendos para disfrutar de una pelicula o la buena musica disponible frente a la chimenea.

The nearest sandy beach is La Barossa, a 5 minute drive away. This has blue flag status. Other beaches within 20 minutes drive include Novo Sancti Petri 7 minutes, old Sancti Petri 10 minutes, Cadiz, Roche, Puerto Santa Maria and Conil. There is an excellent bus service from the end of the road to the town, local area, beaches and airports.


30 minutes by car from Jerez Airport (Ryanair to Stansted). 60 minutes by car from Gibraltar Airport (Easyjet/BA/Monarch to Gatwick). There are local buses to Chiclana town centre, then further buses to La Barossa beaches, Cadiz, Gibraltar and Jerez.


Chiclana town outskirt is 5 minutes by car. Conil 20 minutes, Cadiz 20 minutes, San Fernando 15 minutes, Jerez 30 minutes, Medina Sedonia 20 minutes, Seville 90 minutes, Gibraltar 60 minutes, Malaga 2 hours (all approx.)

Further Details:

The Costa de la Luz (or Andalusia - coast of lights) is the Atlantic coast of Spain, stretching from Gibraltar in the south to the border with Portugal in the north. There is often a breeze from the sea which helps moderate the high temperatures of summer. The area retains its Spanish character and attracts far fewer visitors from the UK and other EU countries. Here you can sample the genuine Spanish way of life of sherry, tapas, seafood and local hospitality. Pago del Humo village has five ventas, (venta Sorpresa is but a 2 minute stroll - also known locally as Casa Blas - a village pub), where you can drink, eat, or watch football on TV with the locals; also they have wi-fi internet access and do a food take away service. There is a well stocked mini-market next door to Casa Blas and a pharmacy, all within a few minutes stroll of the villa.

Booking Notes:
Terms are 25% holding deposit payable on booking by bank transfer to UK bank (or euro's to Spanish bank), with remainder due 4 weeks before occupation of the property. If the time of booking is less than 4 weeks from arrival date, full payment is payable when booking. A refundable ssecurity deposit of £100 is also payable with balance (in euros on arrival if using an overseas bank account) which will be returned after departure subject to no damages. WE NOW ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS AND ECHECK PAYMENTS VIA THIS WEBSITE.

Changeover Day:
Vacate property by 10am on day of departure. Take over property from 4 pm on day of arrival, although these can be flexible dependent upon season and demand. Contact the owner if holiday dates are 'out of season' as we may still be able to accommodate.

Notes on prices:
Payable in GBP or euro's. Pets permitted.. Basic welcome pack included. Additional food items can be ordered (in advance) and paid for in euro's on arrival to the agent. Please note that if paying balance from a non-UK bank the surety deposit (£100 in euros) must be paid on arrival in euros to the agent.
