Apartment in Moraira, Costa Blanca - Great location in the centre of Moraira, 2 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and Cafes

This is a very beautifully furnished, luxurious and modern 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with absolutely everything you could possibly need on your doorstep. Situated in the centre of Moraira this lovely apartment is only a 2 minute walk to the beach, shops, bars and over 100 + restaurants. There is absolutely nowhere on the Costa s that is anywhere like Moraira. Our apartment is located right in the very centre of Moraira. It is less than 50 meter's from the beach and near some fantastic bars and restaurants. The apartment is close to the wide, palm-fringed boulevard running through the centre of Moraira and on to Moraira Castle. The stunning Moraira Marina acts as the perfect visual backdrop to the castle. A short walk gives you a fantastic view across Moraira’s Playa D’Ampolla beach and on to the impressive Penon d’Ifach (Calpe Rock) in the distance.

We stayed in the beautiful Moraira for just over a week and did not want to leave! The apartment was fantastic and had everything we could have needed or wanted. It is situated in a fab location with just a short walk to the glorious beaches that Moraira has to offer. 

It felt like a home from home and has a great terrace to enjoy the sun throughout the day.Endless restaurants all on your doorstep. All in all it is as it says in the title of our review a perfect apartment in the perfect location. I would highly recommend the apartment and we will definitely go again.Maria June 2013

Perfect location - Perfect apartment

Having visited Moraira for over 20 years, and stayed in many villas, we decided after an 8 year break to stay right in town. Tony's apartment was comfortable, well maintained and in a perfect location. The use of an underground parking space was really beneficial, although taking the car out wasn't necessary much because everything you need is right there in Moraira. The town is so lovely, no loud night clubs, lots of lovely restaurants and places to have a leisurely coffee, Rodolfo's Pasta House is a favourite as well as Cap D'Or by the harbour. We can also highly recommend La Cumbre on Cumbre Del Sol (near the Pepe La Sal supermarket there) - not always easy to find but the perfect setting for a day out if you have a car.....a coffee bar which, if you buy a coffee, gives you the use of their swimming pool and a great restaurant for lunch too.....sitting here looking at the expansive views over the area is just perfect. Also try and visit El Portet beach if you have really little ones as its a shallow beach so you can keep a good eye on them. Get there early though! And there are not sun beds to hire here either so sitting on the sand is the only option. Moraira beach was lovely on the days we were there, a nice breeze, excellent coffee from the beach bar and reasonable costs to hire sun beds and umbrellas (which you can book in advance in the place you want them!) All in all this was a lovely week away when it was really needed and we came back relaxed, just wishing we were staying longer!

Perfect Location - Perfect Apartment

Moraira Apartment

Regular visitors to Moraira having stayed in many apartments/villas. First time in Marjaleta. This is now probably at the top of our preferred list. It was exactly as described by Tony and we wanted for nothing. The apartment was well positioned in the centre of town, both perfectly equipped and well maintained. Always a pleasure to go back to. Can only describe as excellent.Will definitely use again

Excellent apartment

Lovely apartment that was spotless, in a central location for restaurants, shops and bars. All restaurants were great and we didn't have one bad meal. Exact description of what Tony had described for the beach being close and in walking distance. Cannot fault the apartment or this part of Spain. Moraira is a gem of place.

Location

Moraira is one of the most peaceful paradises on the Costa Blanca with extraordinarily beautiful landscapes that conserve all of its environmental wealth. In Moraira you will find the magnificent beaches with fine sand, rocks and intimate coves. It has one of the best and most complete yacht harbours on the Costa Blanca. Sea lovers will find it ideal for all water sports. It has abundance of great bars and restaurants for all taste. The World Health Organisation has designated the northern Costa Blanca as possessing one of the finest climates found anywhere, and the EU has awarded many of the beaches in the area the prestigious "blue flag" for water quality and cleanliness several years running. There are 3 excellent golf courses in and around Moraira.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Moraira is a true paradise at the Costa Blanca where you will find hidden and secluded bays and sandy beaches. There are three beautiful beaches of fine sand as well as small romantic rocky bays along the coastline that is eight kilometres long. The family beach of Playa de l'Ampolla is very popular, the Playa el Portet which is convenient for beginners of windsurfing is one of the most beautiful bays in the township and the Playa Platgetes is inviting visitors to go diving and snorkeling.

Travel:

Car is not essential as all amenities are on your doorstep. There are many places in town to hire a car for 1 or 2 days for sightseeing or special days out.

There is underground car park with the apartment however, Moraira has plenty of free parking spaces and a huge car-park just 60 meter's away. I usually hire car from the airport and then park it up everything is within walking distance.

Distances:

Both Alicante and Valencia airports are about an hour's drive away. Car rental is recommended however it is not vital as there is a taxi office within walking distance of the apartment. You can try the Beniconnect which is a provider of cheap airport shuttles and taxi transfers.

Further Details:

Benidorm with its theatres, night clubs and bars is 30 minutes away by motorway. Javea and Moraira have the most wonderful restaurants to choose and a couple of night clubs. The towns are not over commercialized but offer plenty of boutiques, supermarkets and restaurants. The Javea Arenal offers a long promenade and a large sandy beach with activities for children plus Wind Surfing, sub aqua and other water sports. Whilst Moraira is a smaller beach for those sun lovers there are also additional activities available. Mundomar Marine Park, Benidorm: This park has something for everyone, a great day out for all the family. Flamingos, Turtles, Sea Lions, Seals, Penguins, Parrots, Bat Cave and much more. The main attraction being the fantastic dolphin shows, not to be missed! Aqualandia Water Park, Benidorm: A fantastic water adventure park, with many different water slides and chutes. Try the Kamikaze, if you dare! Take a dip in the big wave pool, relax under the waterfalls, or try the newest attraction, the Black hole! A lovely fun way to cool down on a hot summers day.

The apartment is situated in the centre of Moraira with it being just 2 minutes from the beach. Car hire is recommended because there is so much to do a short drive from the apartment, from the bustle of Benidorm to the tranquillity of the Jalon valley. Whatever type of holiday you are looking for, there is something for everybody. There is an underground car park with allocated space. Moraira is a beautiful, small coastal town with a cosmopolitan feel. Amongst the narrow cobbled streets there is a great choice of restaurants, café bars & shops. The impressive marina is surrounded by restaurants where you can sample the catch of the day. There are 2 well maintained sandy beaches offering water-sports and a small fairground to keep children entertained in the evening.
