About the Owner

My name is Pia, I'm a cheerful and open-minded person. I spend my time between Verona (Italy) and Munich (Germany).

My husband is German and our 3 children grew up bilingual. I studied English and German at university and I now work as a teacher of Italian. I love not only teaching my language but also introducing my students to Italian culture and the lifestyle of my beautiful country. My husband and I love traveling and discovering others countries!

Living like a local!

  • 5 of 5

Pia is an attentive host - gracious and cheerful! She responded quickly to our emails and we were very happy with the apartment! The apartment is as described in the listing, but better than we expected. It feels fresh with plenty of light and air movement. It had everything my husband and I needed to be comfortable during our two week stay...the balcony was a treat! The kitchen is complete and the closet has lots of space. It's a very livable apartment. The building is on a quieter little street, with plenty of amenities within a short walk, and you can also rent city bikes if you need to go further.

Thank you, Pia, for a fantastic stay at your wonderful apartment in the heart of historic Verona!

Excellent apartment and location.

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was well equipped, nicely furnished and light and airy. We very much enjoyed breakfast on the the sunny balcony. We had a friendly welcome from Gisene, who suggested places to visit and to eat. The location was perfect for exploring Verona.

Central Verona

  • 5 of 5

For a small apartment surprisingly spacious.

Very clean and lovely decor. With a lovely balcony which was a delight to sit on in the late afternoon with a glass of wine. There were 4 in our party and we never felt cramped. All the comforts of home with a bakery just around the corner where we could purchase a delightful breakfast of pasteries for a few euros. Yo could not have got more central with easy access to the arena and centre of Verona. We didn't need a car and a short walk to the train station got us to Venice in just over an hour and Lake Garda in under 15 minutes.it was great to

Not have the car when walking with my wife along the side of the lake and observing others in a traffic jam. This apartment gives you the freedom of Verona and I would highly recommend it. Will use it again loved it thank you.

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

This is a great apartment bang in the centre about 3 minutes from the Arena. Superb air conditioning and very well furnished. Friendly arrival staff who speaks English and lives locally and full of tips. We found it easy to get to via the airport shuttle bus then a local bus to Stade Matte and then 2 minutes on foot. If you got to the Opera its definitely worth going for the pre booked comfy seats as it last 4 hours.

A Surprise and a Delight!

  • 5 of 5

We often stay in rental accommodation rather than hotels in new places we want to explore. It provides an opportunity to do things at your own pace without having to worry about a hotel's need to clean rooms and such-not. As a result, we have also learned that many times vacation rentals are "overstated" in terms of the photos or descriptions that you find on their listing.

What a delightful surprise to be able to report that, in this case and in our opinion, the photos do not do the apartment justice. Whereas most often photos tend to make things look bigger than they really are, in the case of this apartment the size of things (kitchen, eating area, balcony, bedroom) is just about perfect!

The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. And Pia was delightful in ensuring we kept in communication leading up to our stay.

All said, a perfect place close to everything you might want to see during a stay in Verona!
