This beautiful 1-bedroom apartment is part of the exclusive Kotor View development in the picturesque fishing village of Muo, a short walk (around 30 mins) from the old town of Kotor (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The apartment has been furnished to a high spec and has panoramic views over the sea (fjord), mountains and Kotor Bay. Guests have full use of the private terrace (furnished with table and chairs), large heated swimming pool (with sunloungers), landscaped gardens with barbeque area and outside seating area. There are a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops in the immediate vicinity. The perfect base from which to explore Montenegro's natural beauty, or to simply relax and soak up the sunshine!

Well equiped apartment with stunning views of Kotor Bay.

The apartment was well equipped and had all we needed for our vacation.

The swimming pool and grounds were regularly kept clean.

Our host "Anka" was brilliant !always available when we asked for her assistance.

Hiring a car is not essential as taxis are fast and cheap !

30-40 minute stroll to the bars and restaurants en route to or in the old town.

Taxis required for bars and restaurants in Prcanj and Donji Stoliv.

All the restaurants we used were excellent value and the waiters and waitress's were all very helpful.

Our favourite restaurant was Bokeski Gusti, which a taxi driver recommended and if you don't want seafood then you cannot go wrong with a visit to Restoran Galerija.

We have recommended this area and apartment to many of our friends.

Great view nice pool

Kotor is a fantastic town which was well worth repeated visits during our stay. The maze of narrow streets and squares contain a good variety of restaurants, bars and shops.We could walk there in about half an hour and flagged down taxis home for less than 4 euros. We recommend a boat trip to Perast and,BlueLine bus trips to the small beaches along the coast road. The nearest steps down to the waterfront are uneven and the coast road is narrow and busy, so pedestrians need to take care.

Superb views

The apartment is well equipped with all the facilities and utensils you may need for your holiday. It is clean and bright with a separate double bedroom with lots of storage. The bathroom has a good shower with plenty of hot water. The views from the apartment are amazing. The owner gave us plenty of information about places of interest, restaurants and beaches, we did most of what was suggested and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The access road is really just a dirt track and the entrance into the car park is quite narrow

Great Holiday

We were very impressed with the accomodation it was well maintained and very clean and comfortable with a great view. Very busy in the area but only to be expected in August. Would love to return but out of season.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Tivat at 5 Kilometres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

While there are small swimming areas around the fjord (including a very pleasant pebble beach within walking distance of the apartment), an extensive range of sand and pebble beaches (such as the now-famous Jaz beach) can be found within a 15 -30 min drive from Muo along the magnificent Adriatic coastline towards areas such as Budva or Tivat.

Travel:

Car hire is highly recommended to fully enjoy the area, although cabs/taxis are available as required.

Tivat airport is the closest, only 10 minutes from the apartment through the tunnel.

Podgorica and Dubrovnik (Croatia) airports are both approximately 90 minutes from the apartment.

Distances:

The nearest town is Kotor Old Town, 5 minutes away by car/around 30 minutes by foot. Most places of interest are within a 45 minute drive of the apartment.

Further Details:

Muo is a picturesque fishing village in the Bay of Kotor. There are limited number of shops, bars and restaurants in the village, with many more a few minutes down the road in Kotor Old Town. There are many other beautiful towns and villages to explore, all within a short drive of the apartment. Local currency is Euros. I am more than happy to provide recommendations for restaurants, shops, car hire etc or any other information to help you plan your holiday. My local Rental Manager speaks excellent English. She will meet you on arrival and show you round the apartment. You will be provided with her mobile phone number and she will be available at all times during your stay to answer any questions that you may have. A Welcome Pack containing bread, ham, tomato, pasta, water, wine, butter, cheese and fruit can be arranged for you at a cost of 25 Euros. If you have any special requests, these can be catered for as well.

Booking Notes:
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance is required 6 weeks before travel. I am happy to receive payment in either GBP or EUR. I am able to accept payment by credit card. A security deposit of GBP100/EUR100 will be collected by the managing agent on arrival and refunded on departure after inspection of the property. A small local tourist tax is payable locally and will be collected by the managing agent on arrival, approximately EUR 0.80 per person per night.

Changeover Day:
Saturdays are preferred changeover days but this is flexible depending on availability. Arrival time is 3pm, and departure time is 10am but is flexible subject to rental demand.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week. A minimum fee of £250 per rental applies. UK Pounds are preferred but payments can be accepted in Euros. Long-term lets can be considered. Prices on application. I can accept bank transfers, as well as secure credit/debit card payments.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is suitable for infants/children. No smoking is allowed in the apartment. WIFI coverage is available in the apartment as well as at the pool area. Outside: Included on-site is a large shared heated swimming pool with a terrace and sun loungers. There is also a large communal barbeque area with outdoor dining facilities and a landscaped garden with ample space for children to play. Utility Room: Washing machine, iron, ironing board, collapsible clothes drying rack and hair dryer are provided for guests' use. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels and bed linen are included & can be changed weekly for a small additional fee. Please bring beach towels. The apartment is cleaned on changeover days. More regular cleaning can be arranged with the rental manager if required. Other: Private terrace has a table with seats for 4 people.
