Townhouse near Sotogrande, Costa del Sol - Quiet Location near Duquesa, Beaches and Golf
We are located less than 5 mins drive from Sotogrande with its many designer shops and restaurants and several championship golf courses such as Valderrama, San Roque, Almenara. If you are looking for a more laid back atmosphere then Puerto de la Duquesa is a mere 3 minute drive away with its picturesque marina, you will have your choice of restaurants offering international cuisine, beach chiringuitos and pristine beaches. Sabinillas is the local seaside market town, less than 5 mins drive away where you will find supermarkets, shops, bars, tapas bars and fish restaurants. Blue flag beaches and a twice weekly market ensure it retains a typical Spanish feel. Manilva village is a typical white Spanish pueblo situated at the top of a hill 1.5km from the sea. The many festivals throughout the year entice locals and visitors alike to this village, especially the first week in September when the Vendimia wine festival means 4 days of partying to welcome in the new grape harvest.

Great place for holidays

My wife and I live and work on the south coast of England - we like coasts and the sea - my wife is from Haugesund on the west coast of Norway. We have two children and two grandchildren and so sun, sea, beaches, coasts and safety for children were of great importance when we were deciding where we should buy our holiday home. Great place for holidays
We, the group of 7 young university friends, rent this beautifull and cozy place for our holidays and it was the best choice! Everything is exactly like from the description and fotos. The place is really clean and well-maintained with spacious rooms and lovely backyard with good-working barbecue facility. And of course the pool nearby was amazing, big and always cleaned, most of the time we were the only ones using it. You can see the sea from the porch and the beaches here are nice as well. So, we surely recommend this place for our friends and other people to have the best place for holidays, that make you feel at home!
Lovely property - beautiful location
Beautifully clean and well maintained property. This was our second stay with two young boys. The pool is just a few metres away and there are loads of lovely beaches in the area. La Duquesa is a lovely town/marina only 10 minutes drive away, with lovely restaurants, a beautiful beach and great views. An excellent holiday location I would definitely recommend and we will be going back.
Great property with amazing facilities

Just returned home after a 2 weeks stay at Vistas las Rocas. Mike and Inger (the owners) make you feel so welcome. The house was spotlessly clean with a real home comfort feel and to top it, the main room had an amazing sea view.
So we had a lovely holiday and will definetly come back!

Perfect house for perfect holiday !!
This is the 2nd year we came to this house and we are almost 100 % sure to come back for a 3rd time in a row. The house is perfectly equipped ! We are 2 adults and 3 children and have again enjoyed a very comfortable holiday here . 95 % of the time it is nice and quiet in the area so you really feel "at home".
Perfect location for the Costa del Sol
This is the 2nd year we were here with our family of 2 adults and 3 kids. We are likely to come back for the 3rd year in a row next summer. The house is perfectly equipped and for 95 % of the time it is nice and quiet in the area. I do recommend this house to all who want a comfortable holiday !!

“We love this area for the beautiful scenery and the feeling of peace and serenity it gives us when we are there. Nevertheless we are close to lots of blue flag beaches, lots of local life and quiet villages. It also has the attraction of being away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded major resorts - you can escape to the hills as well as the beautiful and relatively empty beaches! We're also quite close to Gibraltar for a day out and, if golf is your thing, we have at least 17 wonderful golf courses within the local area!”
Activity and Interests
Within 10 mins: Sabinillas - blue flag, massage and yoga in summer; Duquesa Playa de las Gaviotas - near los castillos, lots of chiringuitos; Estepona Playa - lovely promenade, short walk to old town; Estepona Playa del Cristo - small cove, great views, shallow water. Within 25 mins: San Pedro - blue flag, promenade, lovely sand; Puerto Banus - stunning beaches; Marbella - beach shops, restaurants and bars. Within 45 mins: Tarifa - stunning beaches, kite surfing, wind surfing, horseriding.
Our property is within easy reach of the two main regional airports. Approximate drive times are:
Gibraltar: 25 minutes
Malaga: 60 minutes
We strongly recommend that you hire a car when you visit our property. The local beach is only a 10 minute walk away, but the very young and the old or infirm may find the walk back up the hill quite challenging.

Local restaurants. There are some excellent local and internationally styled restaurants in the area. You can experience everything from Medieval Suckling pig and fish baked in sea salt to a traditional Sunday lunch or tapas nibbles: you can find them all here. Our local representative can advise on the best places to eat, drink and be merry when you pick up your key on arrival. For the Children - Visit the Rock of Gibraltar with its Barbary Apes; take the cable car to the top where you can see for miles; visit the WWII Siege Tunnels which are fascinating for adults as well. Also in Gibraltar you will find St Michael's Cave which is well worth a visit and there are also many summer concerts to enjoy; visit the Moorish castle for a journey back into history then try the Botanical Gardens which are perfect for a picnic. In addition there are the following attractions right on your doorstep: Sealife centre in Benalmadena. Selwo Adventure park Estepona. Tivoli World Benalmadena, from fair ground rides to Wild West shoot-outs: a great day and evening for everyone. Try the 'Funny Beach' Marbella for Go-karting and games. Waterparks can be found at Algeciras and Fuengirola with their many slides and swimming pools. Giant Donkey Sanctuary – Sunday morning feed the Giant Donkeys near Estepona and learn how they are cared for. Cinema: English Movies – The cinemas in Puerto Banus and Fuengirola and Gibraltar have V.O (Version Original) movies in English. If Ten Pin Bowling is your thing then head for – La Cañada Marbella. Supermarkets, Banks and Post Offices. The local seaside town of Sabinillas has the Sol de Mar supermarket that sells many UK brands and 20 minutes away in Gibraltar you'll find a large Morrisons. Sabinillas also has a Post Office and several banks, including Barclays.

£150 deposit is payable upon booking, by cheque or bank transfer. The full balance, plus a refundable surety, is due 8 weeks before occupancy. The surety, less breakages, is refunded after the end of your holiday.
We operate a flexible changeover day policy where bookings allow. Time of arrival & departure can also be flexible by prior arrangement.
Notes on prices:
Prices are per week in GB Pounds and include linen, towels, tea towels, cleaning, WiFi, electricity and water: there are no hidden extras. A refundable surety of £200 is required against breakages and damages. We can also accept payment in Euros. Please ask about discounts for longer winter lets.

The private balcony to the master bedroom has spectacular views of the Rock of Gibraltar and Africa beyond. The spacious rear patio terrace is accessed from the kitchen and has table and chairs designed for lazy alfresco breakfasts and relaxed evening dining. There is also a communal swimming pool and garden area which is enclosed and gated making it ideal for children and families.
