About the Owner

We bought this fabulous apartment from plan and moved in November 2009. We have always loved this part of Spain and knew the area well before choosing this resort.We live in Surrey but love the sun and wanted a peaceful place where we could holiday as a family and have guests over often.The beaches around the area are truely wonderful and as we love water sports there are a lot to chose from. My husband plays golf and our children are learning. I don't play but there are plenty of other activities to enjoy.

This apartment is truly lovely, big and provides you with your own sense of space. All rooms were luxurious and the indoor space is very comfortable. This is an immaculately furnished property, ideal for ourselves and our children to relax and really enjoy our holiday. The setting is stunning with the pool just a few steps away and for a golf junkie like me the views from the terrace of the 13th, 14th and 15th holes around the lake were just perfect.A word about the owners as well – dealing with them was an absolute pleasure.They were very responsive in their communications and information through both email and phone conversations.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this ground floor apartment. There was plenty of space for all of us (myself and my husband, my parents and our two children) and it was a good base for exploring the area. There are Good restaurants and facilities on site and the owner was very responsive to questions which made booking very easy.

This resort is in a fabulous part of Spain, unspoilt and quietly located although there is plenty to do and explore.There is sunshine all the year round and the beaches which are only 10 minutes away are very safe around the Mar Menor. The airport is only 15 minutes drive away with many low cost airlines flying in daily so you always pop over for a short trip. The golf courses are superb and offer challenges for even the better golfers. There is also plenty to do and see for non golfers.

Special interest holidays:

Water Sports.

La Manga has ten teaching centres (Escuelas de Vela) which means that no one need travel far to practice the water sport of their choice. All the centres offer the best and most up-to-date equipment, with courses in sailing and wind-surfing. Many of these schools also offer courses in catamaran sailing, canoeing and water skiing.


There are 7 main beaches in Los Alcazares area. All hold Blue Flag Awards are 5 minutes drive away from the resort. The beaches are called: Las Salinas .Los Narejos, Las Palmeras, El Espejo, Manzanares, Carrión, La Concha. Slightly further away you can sample the beaches of La Manga strip.


Most UK airports fly to Murcia (San Javier) Airport (MJV), which is 10 minutes from the resort. Alternatively you can fly to Alicante Airport, (ALC) which is 5o minutes from the resort. Many low cost airlines fly into Alicante. Ryan Air, Easy Jet, Jet 2, BMI Baby, Fly Be, Monarch, My Travel Lite, Air Scotland.

You can also take the boat to Bilbao and Drive (7 hours) or go by train. The train station at Cartegena is only 20 minutes away.


Car hire is recommended but not essential as everything you would need is on the resort. Taxi's can be booked for trips and we can provide a pick up service from the airport (please enquire for charges).

Further Details:

Cabo de Palos is a picturesque fishing village which offers fabulous restaurants and an exceptional Sunday market.

Other activities include go-karting, sailing, jet skiing, canoeing, horse riding, boat trips to local islands and experience the outdoor mud bathing at Lo Pagan which can be found at the northern tip of the Mar Menor

Cartagena is a historic Roman City. It has a tourist boat that takes you all around the docks of Cartagena, describing a circular route that borders the Lighthouses of Curra and Navidad, the Algameca Chica and the Isle of Escombreras.

Murcia : has lots of cultural and tourists places of interest to visit. Murcia has many fine buildings, including the Cathedral which shows off their excellent architecture.

Our apartment is undoubtedly in one of the best locations on the resort. Overlooking the lake and only 3 minutes walk from the Hotel, golf club and on-site restaurants. The whole apartment has been decorated in a high quality contemporary style and provides enough space for a family of 6 to enjoy their holiday. We etxended the outside terrace and have provided luxury Italian furniture so you can relax by day and by night in true style. The luxury interior benefits from aircon and fans and heating in the winter if need be. We have 2 LD plasma tvs each with their own satelite so the whole family has further choice of what you watch. There is WIFI throughout the apartment for those who can't be parted from their lap tops.

  • Notes on accommodation: Fabulous location overlooking the lake, with sun all day on the main terrace and only 5 minutes walk from the hotel and central bars and shops. Truly special with high spec interior and superior outside living. Outside: The main terrace has contemporary dining for upto 12 guests and a large all weather sofa with 2 chairs and coffee tables. Additionally there are sun loungers for guests. There is a charcoal BBQ and all the terraces are beautifully lit. The communal pool is 10 steps away and visible from the terrace but there are many other pools scattered around the apartments for your use. There are 2 oputside showers located by the pool which is handy after a day at the beach. Utility Room: Iron, laundry basket,2 clothes airer and tumble dryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and apartment towels are professionally laundered. (Mid stay clean available on request) Beach towels not provided unless by prior arrangement. Other: The main outside terrace has contemporary dining for 12, outside fan and large all weather sofa, armchairs, sun loungers and coffee tables. All terraces have outdoor furniture. Outside showers are available by the pool area.
