This large and exceptionally well equipped apartment is available to rent throughout the whole year. It has just been furnished to a particularly high standard. Both bedrooms and the living room have patio doors which open out onto one of two balconies where you can enjoy the magnificent sea views. This property has everything you could need for a relaxing self-catering holiday. This well equipped complex close to the village centre makes this the ideal location. The spacious apartment is furnished in light oak throughout. Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels are also provided. The larger balcony provides plenty of space for alfresco dining.

Why David Chew chose Lagos region

We chose Praia da Luz because it has everything you could wish for. As well as a beautiful beach there is a lovely promenade with plenty of bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Faro airport less than 50 mins drive away.

What makes this apartment unique

The benefits of staying at our apartment are many, primarily, a beautiful pool and garden area where you can relax with a good book or simply soak up the sun and chill out. There is also the added benefit of having everything you need on your doorstep, i.e. supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants.

Beautiful Well Equipped Apartment with Sea View

This apartment is beautifully furnished, well maintained and well equipped (including Wi-Fi). It is spotlessly clean and the spacious balcony has wonderful sea views. The beach is approximately 5 minutes' walk away and the apartment is close to a supermarket and all amenities, including many top class restaurants. This was my second visit and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Have already booked for 2017!

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

The apartment is on the western side of the Algarve where surfing and windsurfing are popular sporting activities using the big rollers of the Atlantic. The Algarve is well known for its excellent and plentiful golf courses.

Coast/Beach:

Beautiful Luz beach is a short walk away with a smart promenade with plenty of restaurants/bars. The safe, wide sandy beach is ideal for swimming, sunbathing or just relaxing. There is plenty of water sports available and there are also many rocky areas suitable for fishing. The lovely sandy cove of Porto do Mos is a 10 minute drive to the east or to the west you have the busy fishing villages of Burgau or Salema, both have excellent beaches with bars and restaurants.

Travel:

Faro airport is a 45 minute drive to Luz by motorway. All the main car hire companies are located at the airport and directions will be provided. However, as Luz has all you need, car hire is not essential and transfers can be arranged by taxi.

Distances:

The town of Lagos is 5km to the east of Luz. There are many shops, bars and restaurants among the narrow, cobbled streets. You will also enjoy a walk around the modern marina where trips offering sea fishing and dolphin watching can be found. Other places of interest within driving distance include Sagres to the west and Silves to the east. To the north you will find Monchique situated in the hills. There is also a Slide and Splash water park or the Zoomarine which are both nearby.

Further Details:

Luz has numerous restaurants and many friendly pubs to choose from. There are a number of supermarkets and banks that offer a wide variety of choice. There are also doctors, dentist and chemists and it is the ideal base for a relaxed seaside holiday or a more energetic walking or golfing holiday. However Luz still retains its friendly, village atmosphere. Lagos is a superb night out and provides great entertainment. A number of bars, clubs and restaurants are situated in Lagos which offer variety every night of the week.

Changeover day can be flexible, we request that guests vacate by 10.00hrs and new guests can gain access to the apartment by 14.00hrs.

Booking Notes:
A deposit of £100 per week is required to confirm the booking and is non-refundable. The balance is to be paid in full 8 weeks prior to departure. £100 deposit is also required for damage and breakages which is refundable once the apartment has been checked.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is cool day and night. Heaters are available during winter months. The large balcony has beautiful sea views. The pools can be viewed from the apartment and the complex is suitable for children. A welcome pack is available upon request. Our management team are English speaking and will be more than happy to assist you whenever they can. Outside: There are two private balconies with a large table, 6 chairs and two sun loungers. The perfect place to enjoy the sea views and watch the world go by. The complex has two large outdoor pools, one of which is a very large children's pool, and is surrounded by lawns and terraces. Sun loungers are provided free of charge. The gardens are maintained to the highest standards and all communal areas are regularly cleaned and maintained. There is also a children's play area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: There is a weekly cleaning service. Fresh linen and towels are also changed once a week. Other: The large balcony which has outstanding sea views has a table and six chairs for alfresco dining. There are also two sunloungers. WI-FI available.
