We came across this apartment when we were let down by a villa that we had booked for 2 weeks in July/August. With flights already booked, we didn't have long to find somewhere to house 5 of us! Not only did the owner (Fiona) of this apartment let us have it for the 2 weeks, she rallied round to sort an extra bed so all 5 of us could stay! We had the most amazing 2 weeks holiday there and although the apartment normally sleeps 4, we had more than enough room for the 5 of us! (2 adults, a 19, 13 and 9 year old!) We had more than enough room and as one previous reviewer stated, the shower is amazing! THANK YOU so much Fiona, you were a hugh help and a life saver! Will definitely be back!!!! xxx
We stayed in this apartment the second time and it was as good as ever,, lovely furnished with very well equipped kitchen and sittingroom.
Bedroom spacious with plenty of storage and everything in very good condition.
Even sunlounges (very comfortable!) on the balcony.

As soon as we saw the pictures of this apartment we instantly knew that this was the place. The photos of the apartment itself and those of the complex looked very inviting.
We contacted the owner, Fiona, who was very helpful and made the whole experience of booking easy and without stress. She responded to every question that we had within 24 hours.
When we arrived, we had been given the gate code and were instructed where to pick up the keys from, which was all very straightforward. We weren't disappointed with the apartment or the complex, which both looked like (if not better) than the pictures.
In summary, the beds were really comfortable (I,m 6' 5" and I could stretch out on the bed, which I can usually only do in a King size bed); the shower was great (temperature easy to adjust and pressure very good). For us, these are the two most important factors in an apartment or hotel. In addition, there is a DVD player which is not mentioned on the website, with a good selection of DVDs to watch. There are also two sun loungers which you can use by the pool, or indeed in front of the tv.
We went the week before the school holidays and the apartment complex was very quiet. Not sure if this is the case all year round but we loved it. The people that were round the pool were mainly Brits and were all very friendly.
The beach is literally a stones throw away and when we went it was very quiet, again which we liked. The supermarket is a two minute walk, as is the nearest restaurant, bike hire and car hire.
Five minutes away you'll find a small arcade with some bars, restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend Ned Kelly's if you like a drink and a sing song; Groucho's for tapas and the Chinese upstairs is very nice - closer to China Town back home in taste, rather than the bland generic stuff from most takeaways.
Further on down the strip you'll find every type of food and drink you like. We'd recommend heading down to one of the bars and restaurants down the steps towards the sea at least once, to enjoy the. However, we also enjoyed the sports bars as we're both footy fans and you can get a pint for €1 at certain times. The local lagers are decent.
Along the strip you'll find plenty of places to book tours and they all speak perfect English. We didn't go to many places as we were only there for a week, but we'd recommend the Green Caves, the Sunday Market and the Old Town.
All in all a great time had and we would definitely return to this apartment!
This was a lovely clean and spacious apartment with everything in. Near to everything, shops, supermarket and restaurants.
The pool was heated and there was no rush to claim sunbeds.
All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and we will certainly be booking here again.

“I bought this property in 2008. I owned a timeshare next door in Las Adelfas. We had been holidaying there for years and when I was out there the complex was for sale. It just seemed like fate as we had often walked past and said how quiet it was and dreamed about some day retiring there. Well not made it yet but am working on it! May 2011. Finally made it out here. Yes it is great and would recommend it to anyone. Yippeeee x”
Activity and Interests
The beach is a 2 minute stroll away. The promenade has recently been redesigned and includes a free outdoor gym.
Airport: Arrecife (5km), ferry: Old town, Puerto Del Carmen (3km). Taxi to airport is approximately 15 euros and takes from 10 to 15 minutes. Good local bus service.
10 minutes drive from airport. A short walk of less than ten minutes will take you to Puerto Del carmen where you will find an array of superb restaurants, bars, night clubs and top class casino. It is no wonder guests come back year, after year, after year to enjoy the sunshine and friendliness that Lanzarote offers.
Puerto Del Carmen offers fantastic beaches, various water sports/rides, scuba diving, boat trips, children's play park, bungee trampolines, mini golf, shops, bars, cafes, fun pubs, restaurants and night clubs. This location is suitable for families and couples and is ideal for getting away from it all.

Pretty much any day. I just try not to book in and out same day so people with a late flight get to stay and enjoy the facilities until they need to leave.

“I just get to totally relax and chill out when I'm there. The people are so friendly and its great to just pop to the bar next door for a snack in the day. I love to sit on the balcony at night and listen to the sea. You can walk onto the main strip in 10 mins and enjoy eating any type of meal you fancy, just coz you can. It's great now that ryanair have such cheap flights from both east midlands and Liverpool. Also easyjet and jet2 coming in more competitive these days. Enjoy”

- Notes on accommodation: The complex is quiet and peaceful, all properties are privately owned with some kept solely for owners personal use. Whilst others are available for year round rental. There are plenty of comfortable, padded sunbeds always available. Next door is the Las Adelfas complex where you will find a friendly, English owned restaurant where everyone is given a warm welcome. Outside: Patio doors from lounge lead to the terrace which has a table and four chairs to enjoy your outside eating and peaceful view of the local beach. There are plenty of comfortable sunbeds surrounding the pools which are cleaned several times throughout the week. Also there is a large barbecue for everyone's use. There are also folding sun loungers for the terrace. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: A full cleaning service is provided weekly with a change of bedlinen and towels. Other: Beach towels and two fold up sun loungers provided.
