Villa in Campina, walking distance to Sao Bras de Alportel - Located Close To Best Areas, Beaches In East Algarve

Casa da Nora is a well equipped and comfortable villa situated in Campina. The house which has 3 double bedrooms (all en-suite) is laid out over 2 floors. There is a patio area with barbecue and table and chairs close to the private pool area with shower, small garden area and sun terraces with loungers and sun shades. The private pool is 8x4mtrs and 1.5 - 2mtrs deep. The two main bedrooms on the 1st floor have balconies with sea views, both overlooking the pool. The ground floor bedroom has an ensuite with large walk in shower. The local supermarket is close by. We are perfectly positioned to explore the Algarve. Tavira, Olhão, are within 20 minutes drive. Manta Rota, Vila Real de Santo Antonio and the Spanish town of Ayamonte are all within a 35 minutes drive.

A fantastic house, nicely located to visit central and eastern algarve. Loved Chicken Louises, the go karts in Almancil and the pool.



We always come to this area and the villa was a great choice for our family holiday. Hired bikes and discovered new trails with my grandson. Would come again.

Sue and John are lovely owners; very knowledgable of the local area with good recommendations. Fabulous villa, a real home from home. The teenagers barely left the pool! Easy reach of more touristy areas by car but this little town can provide all you might need for a Portugese holiday.

Superb villa - great location

Have to say it is the best equipped villa we have stayed in on the Algarve. Great views over the surrounding country and an easy walk into Sao Bras (although a little hot!). Clear skies all the way through and the Internet was really useful, even able to watch Wimbledon.

There's some nice restaurants in town which we visited and the night market was interesting

They even had a fashion show featuring some of the local ladies (and a dog).

Unfortunately didn't get out to see the surrounding area but we've stayed in Sao Bras area a few times now so just a nice change to sit round the pool reading and relaxing

Amazing villa

This villa was brilliant, and despite the photos being great, they really don't do the house justice.

Everything you could think of needing (or having forgotten to pack) is already there and has been well thought out.

The local area is really nice, and this is such a short distance from the airport and lots of lovely towns nearby.

The pool is beautiful and really big, and there are lots of equipment that you can use to maximise this.

The only reason I wouldn't recommend is because I don't want it to get so busy, I can't go again!

Location

From the Owner

We really appreciate this area. It has clean air, rolling hills and green countryside. We take advantage of the beautiful walks, especially through the cork trees with the sun causing so many shadows. The proximity of the local towns and activities they offer we enjoy all year round. Because of our central location and access to the motorway we can easily travel to the West and enjoy the faster pace of life and also to the East where life is more calm and peaceful. Wherever you go along the Algarve the beaches are superb. A monthly trip to Spain is a treat. We enjoy taking the ferry from VRs to Ayamonte.

Special interest holidays:

Walking holiday - House is situated on the Algarvian Way and has signposted walks from the house.

Coast/Beach:

Closest beach is Faro. Best beach for children is Fuseta, car parking is close by. Baril beach (near Tavira) is accessed by a small train. Ilha de Tavira is accessed by ferry, lots of restaurants and bars. Olhão offers a ferry to two inhabited islands with lovely beaches, supermarket and restaurants. These beaches are 25 minutes drive. Manta Rota beach is the furthest but is one of the most popular with Portuguese. Beach information and directions in information pack in villa.

Travel:

Faro airport 25 minutes by car. Taxi can be provided please ask. Car hire is necessary for this villa. Bike hire is available.

Distances:

São Brás de Alportel closest town 10 mins drive. Faro 25 minutes, shopping centre, historic old town. Tavira 25 minutes, shopping centre, historic town, Ilha de Tavira beach, market, events every evening in summer. Olhão 25 minutes, fascinating market on a Saturday morning, ferry to the islands, children's soft play area.

The local village is within easy walking distance and local people will be looking after you during your stay. Your cleaners and poolman live in the village. The local bars and cafes are very small and traditional. Local people sitting outside chatting to their neighbours in the warm evening sun. Don't be surprised if a herd of goats arrive on your doorstep - it is just one of the little adventures you experience in the rich tapestry of Algarve village life. We are close by so if there is anything you need to make your stay more enjoyable please ask.

The terraces and pool area are sunny and spacious. An ideal area to relax after a day at the beach, or sightseeing. Sun loungers, parasol, table and chairs provided.
