Villa Apartment in Oasis de Capistrano, Nerja, Costa del Sol, Spain - Sea and Mountain Views, Communal Swimming Pools

The property comprises of a comfortable, bright, airy lounge/dining room with seating for 4 and an open, fully equipped kitchen. Sliding patio doors lead from the lounge onto the terrace, which is well equipped with garden furniture, barbecue and sun loungers. There are superb views on 3 sides to the Mediterranean, mountains, community gardens and swimming pools. The two air conditioned bedrooms have double beds, fitted wardrobes, chests of drawers and bedside tables. The bathroom, which is off the hall, has bath, shower, wc and washbasin. It has been recently decorated throughout and is well-equipped for your family holiday. There are electric wall heaters in the lounge and air condition heating and cooling in the bedrooms. (A coin-in-the box is used for summer cooling purposes. It takes 1 and 2 euro coins). The property is within walking distance of the centre of Nerja and Burriana beach. Restaurants, a large supermarket and tennis are close by. The bus stops just 50 metres away and trips can be taken west to Malaga, east to Almeria or inland to Granada.

After living in France and being in the holiday business for many years we decided it was time to find warmer climes. This brought us to the Costa del Sol and Nerja where we now live permanently.

Why Judy Stibbon chose Oasis del Capistrano

We bought this property in 2001 because we had fallen in love with Nerja. As soon as we saw our apartment we knew we had to buy it. We loved the wonderful views from the terrace and the fact that the terrace was not attached to another property thus giving us a degree of privacy and all day sun. We were also highly impressed with the Urbanisation, the beautifully kept gardens and the high standard of the privately owned properties.

What makes this apartment unique

The numerous restaurants near to Oasis de Capistrano was a definite advantage although we enjoyed the 20 minute walk into town where you can find an international variety of restaurants.

We arrived back to be greeted by damp, gloomy, fog having departed Nerja in clear skies and warm sun. We were seriously tempted to hop on the next flight back! However, we enjoyed a great holiday in Nerja yet again, helped not only by some wonderful weather but by our stay in 21 Rabat which happily exceeded our expectations. Most comfortable, well equipped and easy to manage, wonderful. Having endured lesser comforts elsewhere over the past few years, it was a joy to have a luxurious apartment, not least, the superb bathroom, but more importantly blissful beds! Once again, thank you for the opportunity to stay in your property. We are already looking forward to returning next year. RJ

Notes on accommodation: Both bedrooms have air conditioning for heating and cooling. For the benefit of all our guests we cannot accept pets and do not allow smoking inside the property. Pets are not accepted. Outside: There is easy parking for cars just outside the property. Whilst you have the opportunity of plenty of sun on the terrace, a retractable awning and sun umbrella ensure that you have shade if you prefer to stay out of the sun. A Weber barbecue is provided for those who like to enjoy some outdoor dining. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Our cleaning staff make sure that everything is ready for your arrival. Bedlinen and towels are provided although we do not supply beach towels. Maid service and additional laundry facilities are optional during your stay. Other: Hair dryer, iron/ironing board provided.The terrace, which is detached and faces south, is equipped with table/chairs, sun loungers, BBQ, sun umbrella and sun blind. Stunning mountain and sea views from the terrace as well as the beautiful Oasis gardens.

Detached villa, air con, wifi, views and all you need for a relaxing holiday!!

Clean, well equipped property having the benefit of free Wifi. This air conditioned property has an exceptional position as it has wonderful views of the mountains and sea from the balcony and, as it is detached, it gets, not only the morning sun, but sun throughout the day until the sun goes down in the evening. Plenty of information supplied for places to visit or things to occupy one's time. Nicely presented bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. Bus stops at the entrance to the Urbanisation and costs 1 Euro to go into town from where you can catch buses to visit places of interest on the Costa del Sol.

A fantastic holiday - thank you!

Just wanted to thank you for letting us the use of your beautiful property, we had a brilliant time. The villa was superb. It is in an ideal location, really well equipped and had all the little touches that made it feel like home. The views of the sea, mountains and Oasis gardens are wonderful and certainly worth waking up to. Thank you for providing the information booklet which we found must useful. We all had a wonderful holiday and intend to come back again next year.

We enjoyed a great break in Nerja yet again, helped of course by some wonderful weather, but more particularly by our stay at 21 Rabat. We were looking forward to our holiday and it happily exceeded our expectations. Most comfortable, well equipped and easy to manage – wonderful! Having endured lesser comforts elsewhere over the last few years it was a joy to have a luxurious apartment, not least, the superb bathroom plus a decent sized television to watch (not that we did a lot of that) but more importantly – blissful beds. Once again, thank you for the opportunity to stay at 21 and we are already looking forward to taking a longer break there next year, and hopefully many more times in the future.

The property is within walking distance of the centre of Nerja and Burriana beach with its many shops and restaurants. There are sunbeds and umbrellas for hire on the beach. Volley ball nets and children's activity equipment is also available on the beach.


Malaga International airport is just 45 minutes drive away.

Taxis - If you do not wish to hire a car always prebook your taxi from Nerja - cost about 70 Euros. Airport taxis are about 90 euros+.

Bus - The bus which stops outside the airport and takes you to Malaga bus station leaves every half hour between 07.00hr- 23.00hr. The Nerja bus is run by Alsina Graella Sur. Buy your ticket at their office inside the bus station building prior to boarding - under 5 Euros - and goes from Bay 38.


The surrounding countryside is filled with white-washed, sleepy Andalusian villages and orchards scented with ripening oranges and lemons. Frigiliana, a 15 minute drive from Nerja, is one of Andalusia's most picturesque hill top villages. From here there are wonderful views over the surrounding valleys and out to the coast. The world famous Nerja caves are natural archaeological caves containing the world's largest column. Each July it hosts the International Music Festival.

Nerja, bustling by day and by night, has all the facilities of a modern resort, charming but lively with its twisting alleyways, lined with family owned shops and excellent variety of restaurants. Nerja has several popular beaches with lively bars and restaurants whilst others are quieter and more secluded with rock pools in which to explore marine life. The atmosphere in Nerja is that of time having stood still. In the surrounding countryside you can see teams of oxen ploughing the fields. At the same time Nerja has all the facilities of a modern resort. Nerja is, of course, a paradise for water sports; swimming, sailing, windsurfing, scuba diving, water-skiing and fishing are all available. Nerja boasts many small coves between the Balcon de Europa and the very popular Burriana beach, a place in which to indulge oneself in the famous paella dish. See it being cooked over the beach fire at the well-known Ayo's beach restaurant, one of our favourite places to eat. For walkers there are many way-marked walks taking you along the coast or inland. Inland, Lake Vinuela is well worth a trip to see this beautiful blue lagoon surrounded by the mountains. Granada and the Alhambra Palace are just over an hours drive away and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada just 20 minutes from there. Take the scenic coast road east to Marina del Este, a bustling little port and then on to Almunecar whose Friday market is very popular. Almunecar boasts a new aquarium and there is also a bird sanctuary where you can see many varies of exotic birds. West from Nerja is Torre del Mar, a busy seaside town with a vast beach and elegant promenade.

Booking Notes:
A minimum booking deposit of 25% is required. Full payment has to be made 8 weeks before your arrival. Our own booking form will be sent to you to complete and return. This is necessary for our own records. There is a refundable damage deposit which is returned to you approximately one week after your departure, subject to the property being left in good condition. A map showing the location of the property is sent to you after the deposit has been received. All further details that you require are sent after receipt of final payment.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible if this fits in with our other bookings. Arrival time is after 4pm and departure time is before 10am. On some occasions this can be modified where arrival or departure of other guests allows.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • Cancelled bookings will not receive a refund.
