This luxury Les Carroz chalet apartment built in 2009 by MGM islocated in a wonderful part of Les Carroz d'Araches. The apartment has ground floor access with a first floor balcony, a private ski locker and ample outdoor car parking space for the use of clients. The chalet’s location offers dramatic views from the balcony, with patio table and chairs, across the village, mountains and pistes. The apartment is an easy 10-minute walk into the village centre or next door to the chalet block is the bus stop serviced by the free regular ski bus in and out of the centre of Les Carroz, taking you direct to the telecabine providing rapid access to the Grand Massif with 265km of skiing for all levels from novices to advanced in Flaine, Samoens, Morillon and Sixt. With a number of child-friendly features in the apartment and for 2013 the new sports centre and spa opposite with outdoor pools and tennis courts, this is the perfect location for family skiing or summer holidays. About The Owner

We're a professional couple with three boys aged twelve and under. We live in the Midlands and we've been skiing for the last 10 years and and are now introducing our boys to it, too. Luckily they seem to love it as much as we do.

Why The Owner chose Flaine - Grand Massif

We'd been skiing for a few years before we were invited to the Grand Massif by friends and we loved it and kept coming back. Then we visited the village of Les Carroz and realised we'd found the best kept secret in the Alps - a lovely unspoiled mountain village with access to one of the largest ski areas in France.

What makes this apartment unique

Every year when planning our holidays we always found it really difficult to find somewhere that really catered for all the requirements of young children and always seemed to be laden down with endless bags of "stuff". After visiting Les Carroz and falling in love with the beautiful village and the child-friendly attitude of the locals we decided to buy a place and kit it out so that we had everything we needed there. So there's bunk beds (big enough for grown-ups, too!), a high chair, travel cot, plastic cups and plates, games and even a steriliser in the apartment. We regard it as our second home and we've furnished it accordingly so we think you'll find it comfortable and homely as well as practical. Gary and Nichola x.

It features a travel cot, high chair, steriliser, plastic cups, plates and saucers and a variety of board gamnes. Heating by electric heaters included. Outside: Balcony with amazing views with patio table and chairs. Large communal outdoor grass area for sunbathing and relaxing at the front of the chalet. New for 2013 is the Sports Centre and Mountain Spa opposite with outdoor heated pool, water slides, tennis courts, gym, sauna and a range of Spa Treatments. Several lovely forest walks from behind the apartment and tennix courts and a also a new and extensive High Ropes adventure in the forest behind the sports centre. Wide range of summer activities available locally. Utility Room: The hall also has a storage cupboard with steam iron, ironing board, hair drier, clothes rail and ski clothing hangers. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen, towels and tea towels can be provided at a modest additional cost if required. Property cleaned throughout and all facilities checked before each new occupation. Other: The hall features ski clothing hangers and a storage cupboard with steam iron, ironing board, hoover, mop, bucket, brush and pan. The apartment has SKY TV with English Freeview channels.

A truly outstanding apartment with all the facilities you could wish for. A spacious apartment for 6 adults and 2 children. We cooked 4 nights as the facilities were as good as home. Lovely nights in to sit around the large table and play board games! Private ski locker provided too. We hope to return next year. On the main bus route to the town centre and telecabine and the bus is free. Really easy walk into town. Amazing resort for families.

Bookings will be held provisionally for 7 days until we receive a 20% non-refundable deposit.
Full rental balance plus £250 cheque for security deposit must be received within 8 weeks of arrival date. The security deposit will be returned after departure if all is found to be satisfactory.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is flexible - for bookings of a full week Saturdays are preferred although long weekend breaks are also available by request. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Notes on prices:
Prices are per week in UK Pounds. We can accept payment by cheque or bank transfer. Weekend breaks and other options are also available, particularly at Christmas and New Year - please contact us for details. Bedlinen, towels and tea towels are not included but can be arranged if required for a modest cost (c £15 per person per week) if required.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
