2 Bed Apartment in Les Deux Alpes, Rhone-Alpes, France - at foot of pistes, close to Le Diable Chairlift

This apartment is in a quiet location, yet still just 5 minutes walk from the local amenities such as shops bars etc, and 10 minute walk to the centre of Les Deux Alpes, lending itself ideally to either a family or a group of friends. There are 2 bedrooms, one having a double bed, and the second bedroom a double bed with a single bunk bed over the top of it. In the lounge there is a 3 seater sofa that pulls out to a double sofa bed. There is also a TV/DVD player. All of our beds have continental quilts. The dining area has a folding table, 4 chairs plus 2 fold up chairs. The kitchen has fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster and slow cooker. There is a bathroom with a bath and shower attachment over it, toilet and a hand basin, and also a separate toilet. The apartment boasts a large south facing balcony with stunning views, and has designated parking for one car. The price of this apartment depends on the number occupying it.

About The Owner

We have been visiting Les Deux Alpes for 10 years now and love the resort. We have spent many a christmas here and enjoy the social life of the centre of resort but are happy to be staying in a more peaceful part of the resort to relax in. Just sitting on the balcony looking at the mountains in the sunshine is all you need.

We are keen skiers and cyclers so all year round fun is available.

Why The Owner chose Les Deux Alpes

When we first visited the resort we both said we would like to buy a place here. We have been able now to fulfill that dream, even if we cant visit as often as we would like. We chose this end of the resort due to the more quiet nature so we can sit out on the balcony and relax over lunch. It is still close enough for walking distance to the pistes and bars and restaurants.

It is handy for walking up the mountain in summer time and visiting the village of Venosc.

What makes this apartment unique

The view from the balcony is fabulous the mountains seem to changes by the minute and you never get bored of the view.

The apartment has plenty of living space and is in a brilliant location, with an amazing view from the south facing balcony. Access to the slopes is excellent. Would definitely come again.

Superb apartment in an excellent location right next to the diable lift. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The shower is amazing, warm and powerful lovely after a day on the slopes. On a sunny day the balcony is a little sun trap too. We have stayed in this apartment 3 times now it’s perfect for our family 2 adults, 3 children. Added bonus this year was being able to hire a Wi-fi box to keep the teenagers happy.

Lovely well equipped apartment excellent location very close to Diable chair lift/village centre

I stayed April 2017 with my two daughters. The apartment is right next to the Diable chair lift, less than a 1 minute walk so quick access up to the slopes. You can ski down if the snow’s good enough or come back down the chair lift. Property is very well equipped and comfortable; it has everything you need for your stay. Magnificent views over the mountains from the large balcony.

Great location and a good size

As a family of four we were really impressed with this apartment. It's a good size and felt comfortable for all of us. The view is great and it is well placed for the ski lift. It's also close to the shops etc.

We love Les Deux Alpes so may return soon.

A little gem at the foot of the slopes

We spent a fantastic week at this apartment over February half term. We are a family of five. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the triple bunk room. We enjoyed waking up each morning to the amazing view out of the double bedroom window. You can ski right to the door of the ski locker room at the end of the day and only have to walk with you skis about 10m to access the super Diable lift. This is great when you have 3 children the less carrying the skis the better. In the evening the children would use the sledging area next door to the apartment block and we would sit on the large south facing balcony having a well earned glass of wine watching the children play. The town is very close with a great selection of bars and restaurants if you don't want to self cater making the location of this apartment superb. We have rebooked for 2017 already.

Grande déception

A l'arrivée appartement sal, après 10h de voyage nous avons du passer l'aspirateur et nettoyer wc et salle de bain.

Nous sommes arrivés samedi et jusqu'à jeudi pas d'eau chaude.....même après plusieurs réclamations.

Matelas très inconfortables et impossible de dormir dans le canapé lit tellement on sentait les ressorts. Un lit superposé qui tient avec du gros au-dessus de ce lit une ampoule mal installée avec fils apparents que les enfants pouvaient toucher...

Pour le prix on s'attendait vraiment à mieux.

Nearest airport is Grenoble airport 1.5 hours drive. Bus services run, taxis or car hire for transfer options. Other airports nearby but not as close are Lyon and Chambery.

Great area for cycling enthusiasts near to Alpe H'uez and Col du Galibier, col du Lautaret and for mountain biking enthusiasts. Swimming pool and ice rink in the centre of resort plus many bars, restaurants, supermarkets and banks.

Booking Notes:
Deposit of £200 required at time of booking. Balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival or paid in full if booking within that timescale. A security deposit of 350 Euros is held on arrival.

Changeover Day:
Saturday to Saturday is the usual changeover day but on discussion may be flexible, particularly during the Christmas and New Year period Long weekend break options are available.

Notes on prices:
The prices for Le Janremon are based on occupancy of 4 people for one week from Saturday to Saturday. For more or less people than this please enquire. Bed linen hire is mandatory at 10€ per single set and 15€ per double set, and your beds will be made up for your arrival. Towels are not provided but can be hired. The apartment must be left clean but a cleaning service can be provided. Please enquire for details.
