Penthouse Apartment in Sliema, Malta - Central Location: 5 Mins Walk to Sliema Pitch Lido and Rocky Beach, Good access to local amenties

Penthouse apartment set on two levels with all rooms air conditioned. The main bathroom and bedrooms which both have balconies are located downstairs. The lounge dinner and terrace has views over Sliema Harbour is accessed via a spiral staircase. A WC is located upstairs as well. The terrace has table and chairs with parasol and a sun bed. The flat is located is central to all the shops and local amenities and is a five minute walk to Sliema Pitch Lido and a Rocky Beach.

Good standard and location

The apartment is very good located around 100 m from Sliema Harbour, wherefrom many tour boats and the ferry to Valetta departures.

In is placed on a quiet street and nearby you find many restaurants and also a new shopping centre.

Is is well organized with 2 large bedrooms and a bathroom at the ground floor and a living room with open kitchen at the top floor. From there you can enter a terrasse with a splendid view of the harbour.

All in all a very good choice, maybe except for families will small children because of the steep stairway to the top floor.

Fantastic location, clean, tidy and well equiped

The listing description of this property was accurate and the rooms, living space were bigger than intially anticipated. The apartment was clean and tidy on our arrival. It is home from home, you wont be disapppinted, it has everything you need. The only negative for us was the water pressure,its not so good for showering/Bath! The view from the balcony is superb and great for that late night glass of wine and if your lucky you might get to see some fireworks.The location is perfect! Just a short stroll to the restaurants, supermarket and shops. The ferry to Valletta is close by as were all the buses which run frequently and all have air con, which is a must! Valletta is the capital and is definitely worth a visit. The 5D cinema experience is so worth a visit, make sure your viewing is for the language you speak! Our 2 children age 16yrs and 9 both enjoyed the fun way in which the history of malta is told. St Julians bay is a great place for the beach and water sports. Comino Isalnd is so worth a visit by boat if you can, its truly amazing! John the owner was more than helpful from start to finish, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the water issue! Would definitely recommend and hope to return at some point in the near furture - Julie

Fantastic apartment.

Fantastic apartment with a wonderful view of Sliema from the lounge & balcony. Very spacious and light rooms with everything you need. Washing machine along with powder and conditioner to hand. Good location. John was more than helpful when booking the apartment and we were able to pick the dates around our flight times. Not sure about the review from Helen H, if there was a problem it must have been sorted as there was plenty of hot water and plenty of clean towels and bedding.

Beautiful and Centrally Located Apartment

Well what a fantastic find, this is a gem !! Central for Malta sightseeing and all of its beautiful towns. The apt is situated close to the harbour and is so well equipped, it's really like home from home. It's clean, has everything you could wish for and the owner John could not have been more helpful. He gave us details of places to go and also to some of the best restaurants in town. We made a special visit to The Portomasso Casino in St Julian for dinner which was lovely. However walking out of the Casino we crossed over to The Hilton Hotel and we were in awe of it's beauty and the private guest harbour, well worth a visit and dinner!! Also try The Terrace restaurant, you'll not be disappointed either with the views nor the food. A lovely place.

Great apartment in perfect location.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at the apartment. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and has beautiful views from the terrace and lounge area. The rooms were light and airy and our kids loved the spiral staircase up to the kitchen/ lounge area.

Grace, the cleaner, welcomed us to the apartment and was really friendly and chatty. John's communication has been excellent since time of booking until our stay.

The apartment is in easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, supermarkets etc.

Our only problem was the parking challenge on the busy street. Thankfully we always found a spot later in the evenings.

As public transport seems very good throughout Malta, I'd suggest you don't actually need to hire a car anyway.

Good destination

We know Malta well and visit regularly for long weekends. The location of this apartment was perfect and Ryan the taxi driver was fantastic. However, I would have to say that the apartment was not very clean: the towels were old and tired and the shower was terrible - water flow and pressure very poor. For this reason I'm afraid I would NOT recommend to friends or family. Such a shame as we do recommend a lot of people to both Owners Direct and to Malta.

Sliema is a popular place housing an impressive shopping district and long promenade with cafes and bars which run along the coast to St Julians. The Sliema harbour has a frequent ferry service to Valletta which is a lovely and speedy way to travel to the capital.
