These are our family holiday homes and well maintained. Unlike most of Vieux Nice apartments, here you have easy access only a few steps up from the street. Although we are close to all Vieux Nice's bustling cobbled streets and alleys, the apartments are peaceful and quiet so you can look forward to a good nights sleep on good quality, comfy, beds. portable air /con unit or ceiling fans and heaters for your extra comfort, and you'll also find more than enough wardrobe and cupboard space.
Our family have enjoyed so many wonderful holidays in Nice. Spring and Autumn for sightseeing and shopping. Summer for water sports and beaches. Winter for skiing in the 4 resorts only an hour away. A few years ago we realised our dream to buy our own little 'place in the sun', and 2014 our son has joined us in buying the apartment next door. These are our family holiday homes and perhaps for retirement in the future.

We just love the charm and uniqueness of Vieux Nice. We chose Place St Francois in The Old Town which couldn't be in a better location. right in the centre of everything, yet quiet and easy to get to. Public transport is amazing, reliable and convenient and generally only 1.50euro p/f. So many beautiful places to explore on our days out, with Monaco and Italy to the east and the beautiful French Riviera to the west. Just couldn't get any better and we just love coming back again, and again, and again
Our apartment is in the heart of the Old Town, yet its quiet at night. Another real advantage is that access is easy - unlike most of the apartments here!

This is great apartment. Up three short flights of stairs. Super convenient location - less than 5 minutes walk from tram stop. Boulangerie, three butchers, fish market, wine shop, three supermarkets, take-away cooked foods are all on the doorstep. The apartment has a good kitchen and bathroom, comfortable sofa, TV, video etc, good bed. The dining table is breakfast-bar style with high stools - we would have preferred a more conventional - less elevated - table and chairs. Being above the fish market has the drawback of early morning noise, so windows need to kept closed at night if you don't want to be disturbed - but there are lovely enormous ceiling fans (variable speed) in both the sitting room and the bedroom. We had a lovely time and may well be back despite the slight drawbacks. Pat was very welcoming and, at the end of our stay, accommodating about checkout time and leaving suitcases in the flat until we were ready to go.
This apartment may be small but it has everything you need and is very tastefully decorated. It is in the Old town of Nice and therefore has a great French atmosphere down to the local fish market right outside in the mornings. It does get a little noisy but I think that is a price worth paying for its locality. We particularly appreciated the fact that there were basic items supplied (toilet rolls, cleaning items, beach mats, coffee, oil, vinegar etc plus a nice thoughtful bottle of wine, some cheese, bread, tomatoes and eggs) small supermarket opposite sells most things and local bakers, butchers etc on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend!
Very nice apartment right next to the old town, fresh fish market everyday just down the steps, supermarket across the road, restaurants, bakery, wine shop also at bottom of steps. Perfect location, would definitely recommend this property. It was well equipped and comfortable, we had bread, water and wine left for us on our arrival. Athena kept in touch with us up to our arrival date and was very helpful.
Clean and modern inside. Everything you need is provided and even the fridge was partially stocked for our arrival which was a lovely thought. Good power from the shower!
Lovely apartment in the heart of the Old Town. 5 mins walk to beach through narrow streets bustling with bars, restaurants and interesting shops. 2 mins to tram stop. 1 min to super-market. A little noisy at night but would stay here again because the other benefits outweighed this issue. Very well equipped small cosy flat - fresh bread, cheese and wine supplied was a classy touch. Excellent communications from Athena and Pat (the ex-pat lady who manages the property). A very positive Ownersdirect experience. Thank you!
