In its tranquil setting Casa Luciano has beautiful views of hills, hilltop towns and distant mountains and is perfect for a relaxing Italian holiday. The flexible accommodation with two sitting rooms, first floor terrace, a superbly equipped designer kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining and pool house with kitchen and shower room all add to the ambiance of this delightful home The house even has an outdoor Bread Oven.

About Barry Peart

We live in a lovely old stone house in a conservation area on the outskirts of Edinburgh but love Italy. We bought the Italian house because of the weather,the views and the lifestyle.

Why Barry Peart chose Fermo

Le Marche is one of Italy's best kept secrets. It has glorious scenery, wonderful beaches, hilltop towns and a rich history. We fell in love with Casa Luciano because it nestles on the side of a valley with stunning views of rolling hills, hilltop towns & distant views of the mountains. Visitors comment on how peaceful and relaxing the place is and we have tried to make it a home from home for everyone who stays.

What makes this farmhouse unique

The house is only five minutes from the nearest village and a main road to the coast yet the house is totally secluded. You can stay down by the pool all day long as you have the pool house facility. There are many local restaurants and visitors enjoy discovering their own special place in one of the nearby villages. Belmonte is only five minutes away and a trip to the beach to eat fabulous seafood at a beach cafe is only a 30 minutes. The only problem is that the place so relaxing that many find that they never get round to visiting all the wonderful places of interest across Le Marche. Still there is always next year!

Notes on accommodation: All the bedrooms have fans, shutters and fly screens to the windows. Outside: The spacious mature gardens have grape vines and fruit trees which guests can help themselves to and an original bread/pizza oven. There are sun loungers on the tiled area around the 10m x 4m pool . The poolhouse has a shower room, kitchen facilities and a dining table seating 6/8 making it perfect for alfresco dining whilst admiring the views. The 1st floor terrace leads off the upstairs sitting room & is ideal for breakfasting. It has 2 tables with seating for 8 & catches the breeze in the afternoon. It is also ideal for stargazing at night with a glass of wine whilst listening to something relaxing on the CD player. Utility Room: Large washing sink, iron, ironing board airer and general cleaning equipment. The house is well equipped with all household items. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, pool towels and linen are included and changed every week. The house is cleaned thoroughly at changeover. A maid service is available at extra cost if required. Other: The house has a variety of books, DVDs etc.
