About the Owner

I retired from our family business where I worked as an interior designer several years ago and have since been enjoying spending time with our grandchildren. We purchased Ddor Ddu in 2006 and have worked hard in our spare time to renovate and refurbish the property. My family and I love to spend time at Nefyn; doing lots of walking, playing golf and of course visiting the famous Red Pub (Ty Coch) that is situated on the beach! We hope you will enjoy your time at Ddor Ddu as much as we do. Look forward to meeting you.

Absolutely delightful

  • 5 of 5

Thought that this cottage was absolutely gorgeous! Upon arrival there was a tea set out and they had thoughtfully provided a lovely bara brith (my favourite!). Cottage has beautiful views as promised and is furnished to a very high standard and very clean. The cottage is a good size and so much bigger on the inside than you think it will be. The garden is well sheltered from the coastal breeze and, although it was a bit too chilly for us to utilise, there were also facilities for a bbq. Very conveniently located near Nefyn and the beach and everything on the peninsula is an easy 20 - 30 minute drive away. The whole place is utterly delightful and we will definitely return.
