The picturesque village of langton Matravers is located approximately 3 miles from the Historic Corfe Castle and 1.5 miles from the seaside town and beaches of Swanage and gateway to the Jurassic coast. The vast beaches and sand dunes of Studland Bay are about 3 miles away. Langton Matravers has easy access to country and clifftop walks, to Dancing Ledges, Winspit, Kimmeridge and Lulworth Cove, most of which belongs to the National Trust. There is a local shop/P.O/bakery, The Kings Arms Pub, village church and Putlake Adventure Farm are all within easy walking distance.
We spent many years coming on holiday to this wonderful area of Dorset with my family that we decided to move here 11 years ago. we have never looked back we love it here, there is so much to see and do all on our doorstep. We hope you enjoy Dorset and as much as we do.

The cottage was so well equipped and comfortable for our family of four. It was a fantastic base for exploring Purbeck and Studland. The village has a good post office shop a pub and Putlake farm. A short walk (approx 1 mile) from the coastal path at Dancing Ledge.
Great little flat, although plenty of room for family with 3 teenagers. Very well furnished and equipped. Just over the road from the path up to the coastal path. Great for walks. Nice village, not too busy, good shop and 2-3 nice pubs with great food. Easy access to Swanage and surrounding area. We would definitely use again.
We were really surprised how big this apartment was, our daughter and son had their own rooms and the main bedroom was really spacious even with a cot. The owners have really thought about everything and its so well equipped with whatever you need. We stayed for two weeks and if you have children this is perfect. Its clean and tidy and the bathroom is a nice size, we didnt feel like we were on top of each other and although the kitchen is small it was perfect for hubby to do the holiday cooking (bliss). The location is perfect, Swanage is lovely only five mins away and Studlands has an amazing beach, there is so much to do and see. Corfe Castle, The Blue Pool, Lulworth Cove and lots more. We didnt have great weather but we had a lovely time, thankyou. We didnt want to go home and would definately recommend this property.
We stayed in this lovely flat for a week. It was extremely well equipped, spotless and met all of our needs, from our one year old to our fourteen year old. The village is quiet but the cottage is a minute's walk from the shop and pub and, in the other direction, a play park and field. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower luxurious. Swanage is only a ten minute drive, but a bus runs there every half hour should you need it. I would recommend the flat highly.
We had a great break over Easter in the appartment, which was very clean and comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is cosy, but we managed and its a great place to be based for all of the Isle of Purbeck. Would happliy return.
Fantastic time. Cottage central to loads of activities. Nice and clean with good facilties. Good curry house and chip shop within close drive.
Pub just a stagger away. Locals were great, even when we brought kids in for a game of darts. Dancing Ledge a nice walk. A days fossil hunting within a hours drive away. Thoroughly recommend.

10% deposit is required with booking. The balance of payment is due 8 weeks prior to booking. Guests are required to leave the apartment clean and tidy. All lettings commence at 2.00pm and terminate at 11am. Upon final payment, details of key collection and other details will be sent to you. No pets allowed. No smoking. The apartment has electricity supply by meter, which takes £1 coins (max £5 per week). It would be appreciated if any damage could be reported and breakages replaced.
Lettings run Saturday to Saturday. Lettings commence at 2pm and terminate at 11am. There is an option for minimum 3 night stays out of season. Linen is provided but not towels.

10% deposit is taken to confirm your booking, 8 weeks prior to your holiday the final balance is due. You can pay via Bacs or cheque, call Nicky 07956 808302 for further details. Once the final payment is made a receipt with key collection details will be sent out.
