Beach Front Apartment in Port d'Alcudia, Mallorca - Located directly on the Beach and close to Shops, Bars, Restaurants and Marina

This superior apartment has been fully refurbished to a very high standard with all "mod cons". The apartment is perfectly located with direct access to the beautiful white sands and clear blue water of the beach at Alcudia overlooking marina and with an abundance of Shops, Bars and Restaurants nearby. The apartment is situated on the first floor (served by a lift) of the privately-owned Carabela complex with it's own gardens, large communal swimming pool and smaller adjacent "kiddies" pool. This is an ideal base for young and old. The beach is extremely safe with a Water Park and the historic town of Alcudia, with it's twice-weekly market, both within easy walking distance. There are also frequent and convenient public bus services to Palma, Pollenca etc. Car hire (if required) ,boat trips and other excursions to other parts of the island can be arranged closeby.

This apartment met all our expectations, for a couple with a 4 year old daughter.

The apartment was in an absolute prime location, right on the beach (meaning not having to use the public toilets). It was spacious for our needs, very clean and had a fully equipped kitchen.

The owners Mark & Amanda were so helpful and considering we booked very late, were very quick to respond to our bookings and queries.

We were initially wondering whether Alcudia would be right for us holiday wise as we were wondering whether the resort would be tacky and brash. However, albeit for a few loud bars, it was a pleasant suprise with the old Alcudia town being within easy walking distance and other traditional and gorgeous restaurants also close by.

This is totally geared up to be a safe and friendly family resort. Do not hesitate to come here if you are ultimately seeking a beach holiday with plenty of parks to keep your little ones entertained.

We loved, loved, loved this holiday so much and the apartment that we will definitely be coming back for two weeks on our next visit.

Excellent Accommodation

Superb apartment - very stylish, clean and comfortable in a great location with a great view of the beach. It was like home from home. We have stayed in a number of Carabela apartments over the years and this was by far the best.

Activity and Interests


As a "front line" development, the Carabela complex is immediately adjacent to the beach. Direct access onto the beach is made via a gate in the gardens.


The airport at Palma de Mallorca is approximately 50km away- about 35-40 minutes by car. Taxis/Car hire are available immediately outside the arrivals hall. Alternatively, car-hire can be arranged at the resort. There is a Bus stop and Taxi Rank next to the apartments. We have used "No Frills" excursions (round the corner) for day trips/shows around the island.


Alcudia Old Town- 2km

"Hidropark" water park- 1.5km

Puerto Pollenca- 12km

Pollenca Old Town- 15km

C'an Picafort- 20km

The city of Palma, with it's mediaeval centre and spectacular marina is less than 1 hour way (50km) by regular bus service.

Further Details:

Facilities such as Medical Centre, Dentist and Pharmacy are all within 5 minutes walking distance. Local shops, supermarkets, Banks are all immediately adjacent. The marina/ port has a large pedestrianised area surrounded by numerous up-market shops, cafes, restaurants and bars which is a great and safe place to walk around at night.
