Beautifully positioned in an elevated location above the bay, our apartment is fully equipped to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. A small supermarket, the waters edge, several bars and restaurants are just minutes away or just relax on one of the sun loungers around the pool. Ten minutes by car, bus or taxi is the beautiful walled medieval town of Kotor. This pedestrianised town is a must see that boasts a variety of restaurants, bars, churches, galleries and boutiques. A ten minute drive in the opposite direction is the ancient town of Parest once part of the Venetian empire. From here you can take a trip to the island or walk around the old stone buildings, chill on the waterfront restaurants or visit the museum. Boka Heights is a small and very well maintained complex with the grounds and swimming pool inspected twice daily. Boka penthouse - Bedroom 1 With a double bed and unobstructed views directly out to the bay;comes complete with cupboard/dressing table, chair, Air Conditioning unit/heater and own double doors (optional black out shutters) to your own private secluded terrace. Bedroom 2: has two single beds and views to both the bay and woods towards Kotor, complete with bedside cabinet, chair and Air Conditioning unit/heater. The bathroom is tiled floor to ceiling with a large walk in shower cubicle, Sink with mirror,WC, Washing machine. Kitchen: 4 ring hob, oven, fridge freezer, iron, ironing board and cloths airer. Dining area has a wooden dining room table with six chairs. The main lounge area has two large double sofas facing the sea and one single sofa, AirCon, Rug, book case, coffee table, DVD's, flat screen TV, DVD player. The apartment has a reserved car parking space. All the bedding and towels are provided and the apartment cleaned on the handover day. Extra cleaning can be arranged.

About the Owner

We first visited Montenegro in 2003 and after falling in love with this then little known jewel in the Adriatic,have traveled the length and breadth of the country since and have never ceased to be amazed by it's beautiful photogenic scenery, good food, wine, beaches, castles, monasteries, olive groves, vineyards and colorful locals. We decided early on that we had to buy a holiday home here and after carefully researching each and every area over some three years (we lived in the apartment for a while) including the villages around the bay. We settled on these elevated properties in Dobrota, although in a quiet vicinity you are still only minutes away from both beaches and mountain locations, which makes this an ideal base for a vacation. We still take our holidays here every year.

"We had a fabulous holiday in Dobrota. The apartment was modern and spacious and the view from the terrace over Dobrota bay and the surrounding mountains was absolutely stunning. It was so peaceful but with the bonus of shops and tavernas only a few minutes walk away (along the waterfront) and plenty of other villages and attractions to visit by car. We would love to come back and would highly recommend."

Beautiful View

We had a restful week at Boka Heights despite thunderstorms first couple of days. The apartment was recommended by our daughter and was very comfortable and clean with wonderful views from the balcony and pool area. The owner, Alex, was very accommodating and helpful.

Stunning views and a wonderfully spacious apartmen

We had a wonderful stay at Boka View. The apartment is well equipped and incredibly spacious, with a huge balcony affording just the most breathtaking views across the bay. We spent many hours just admiring the view, it really is beyond words! The Boka Heights complex itself is beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. The pool is an added bonus and was never particularly busy. I can't praise the apartment enough, it has everything you need, is light and airy with a wonderful sense of space. Thank you so much, we really had a fantastic time and hope to return again!

Fabulous location - amazing holiday

We cannot begin to fully describe how amazing this place is. The Penthouse at Boka Heights delivers everything that you could wish for and more. The apartment itself it clean, fresh, spacious and modern with all the amenities that you could need to compliment your stay. The views from the lounge, bedroom and even the bathroom are nothing short of spectacular. We spent many hours on the spacious balcony (not overlooked at all) relaxing & taking in the views and admiring the cruise boats on the days that they came into the bay. Just a short walk from the apartment you find yourself right on the water front and there are some cafe's and restaurants - our favourite was about 15 minute walk from the apartment (all accessible by car also). The food is lovely and the prices decent to match. We hired a car and explored the surrounding area which is very easy to do, the roads are quite well sign posted and driving is easy (although don't forget to have your headlights on ALL the time). A short distance around the bay you can access the car ferry across the Fjord, only a short ride about 10 minutes, which provides good views across the Fjord. Kotor and Perast are very short driving distance from the apartment and are well worth the visit. Boka Heights provides the perfect location to explore Montenegro as well as providing a high standard of accommodation to sit back and relax in when you are not exploring. The owner of this accommodation was fantastic to deal with and incredibly helpful as was the local representative who came to meet us on arrival. We cannot fault it at all and we would strongly recommend this property to anyone who wants the prefect balance of amazing accommodation in a truly stunning location.

We found ourselves in the privileged position of being able to choose the first apartments in the Boka Heights development which is our favourite part of the bay. They remain our passion!

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Tivat at 5 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : at 800 Metres Nearest Restaurant : at 800 Metres Nearest Beach : at 800 Metres Car: not necessary


The sea front is only a five minutes walk from the apartment. Jazz Beach and Blue Horizon are approximately 20 minutes drive.


If you are traveling from the UK then Montenegro Airlines fly directly from Gatwick to Tivat. Easy Jet fly direct from Manchester to Tivat.The apartment is only 15 minutes from the airport through a newly built tunnel through the mountain. You can also fly from many destinations in the UK and Europe to Dubrovnik with carriers such as BA, Croatia Airlines, Thompson and many more. The drive time to the apartment is about 1 1/2 hours through some stunning scenery and its just one road so pretty difficult to go wrong.


Short drive to Kotor - the beautiful walled medieval town.

Further Details:

Walking distance to the waters edge, bars, restaurants with alfresco dining a Hotel that does breakfast on the waters edge as well as a small supermarket that seems to sell everything means you really don't have to leave the area if you don't want to.

Kotor itself has a good selection of cash machines and banks, Post office, Montenegro Airlines office, Cafe's with outdoor seating.

The famous restaurant Stari Malini is only five minutes by car.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartments are Modern, spacious, fully air-conditioned and heated throughout; benefiting from double glazed windows, blackout shutters which are great for those siestas. Private staircases, entrances and terraces, Both properties are fully equipped for all your holiday needs and boast a good choice of DVDs, Games and Books for your pleasure. For your comfort children should be supervised at all times around the swimming pool, terraces and steps. Unlike most overseas owners in Montenegro we actually employ a local lady that looks after the apartments, meets all our clients and is only a phone call away should you have any queries or need any advice during your stay with us. She can also arrange any extra cleaning if required. There is plenty of clean bedding and towels provided with extra sets in the apartments. All beds are fitted with mattress and pillow protectors for your comfort. Outside: The terrace is large, private and not overlooked except by the dramatic mountains (you will see what I mean) and is ideal for dining out, sun bathing or just watching the boats cruise by in the bay. The shared pool can be seen from our private terrace and includes good quality pool furniture for your use. The grounds are a mixture of steps, planted borders and cut grass and are maintained to a high level. The grounds and pool are inspected morning and evening and are well maintained by our management company.
