Apartment near Peyia, Pafos (Paphos), Cyprus with Stunning Panoramic Sea Views

Located in the hills above Coral Bay this spacious property is beautifully furnished, decorated and equipped to a very high standard. The 2nd floor apartment is one of only six in a quiet, 2 storey block forming part of the popular Desire Gardens complex with its own covered car park. Our apartment has fantastic sea views from its stunning private roof terrace, and is a 5 minute drive from the coast. The site has a very large private communal pool with sunbeds, umbrellas, poolside toilet and shower facilities, all set in mature gardens. Peyia is a charming village a short 10 minute walk away, with excellent bars, restaurants, banks, post office, supermarkets, bakeries, police station, doctor and pharmacy. Pafos, a World Heritage site, with all its historical attractions is a mere 12km from the apartment. In the other direction, you will discover the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula, a wildlife haven, and over the picturesque hills some of the most beautiful and deserted beaches on the island.

About Janie Mack

Our property is family owned and is a much loved home from home. The children have enjoyed going over since being babies and now that they are older it has been great to also have their friends come over and spend time with us too. Over the years we have made some wonderful friends in the local area, and with so much to do, everyone is able to pursue their own interests. We have endeavoured to make our property a real haven, furnishing it with care and consideration, so that when we go over for a holiday we can totally relax in comfort and at ease. We are delighted that all the guests who have stayed, have also had this impression.

Why Janie Mack chose Peyia

We have been holidaying in Cyprus since 2000. It is because we all enjoy our time there so much, and find the Cypriot people extremely warm and friendly, that we decided to buy a property of our own. Peyia is a lovely village set on the hillside overlooking Coral Bay to the South and to the East, Pafos Town. The village is typically relaxed, with excellent amenities including several very well stocked supermarkets, banks, butchers, bakeries, post office, police station and some superb restaurants and bars. There is also a doctor, dentist and pharmacy. Peyia is only 35 mins from Pafos Airport, 12km from historic Pafos town and 5 mins drive from the lively Coral Bay resort. A place where you can have a fantastically relaxing and rejuvenating family holiday.

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment is large, airy and quiet with stunning views of the Mediterranean from our private roof garden. There is nothing lovelier than sipping a long cold drink whilst watching the sunset over the hills; the twilight sky a canvas of fantastic colours, different every evening! As night falls the sky is full of stars, and the lights of Coral Bay, Pafos Town in the distance and the local villages, dot the darkness with their luminescence. For the day time, the complex boasts the largest pool in Peyia, set in beautifully landscaped gardens, so if you are not out seeing the many cultural delights on offer, you can relax on a sunbed, under an umbrella and catch some rays! But if you need to check your emails we provide Wifi and if you need to keep abreast of your favourite programs - Internet TV too. We have a large library of books if you need a rest from the sun, as well as board games and cards.

Really relaxing holiday in your gorgeous apartment, you seem to have thought of everything, because you had everything we needed! Coral Bay Beach is no more than 5 minutes drive away, and offers extensive tourist facilities including a variety of water sports and boating activities. It has a beach bar, shop and a cafe. Coral Bay resort has many restaurants, bars, clubs and shopping opportunities. For those who prefer quieter, more deserted and naturalistic beaches, these can be found on the coast road near to Latchi and Polis, approximately half an hour's drive away, over the hills, a beautiful drive!


The nearest airport is Pafos International Airport, which is approximately 35 mins drive away from the apartment. Larnaca International Airport, is on the opposite side of the island, but only takes 1.45hrs to reach by car! Car hire, not essential, but recommended, to explore the rich heritage of Cyprus. Owner accepts no responsibility for any loss of/damage to personal property, or injury or death to any person or visitor, during the period of occupancy. Please take adequate insurance.

The Pafos area has many all year round activities for children and adults alike, including go-carting, bowling, scuba diving, a host of water sports and an excellent and very clean aqua-park. There are museums, wineries, local crafts, animal parks, and areas of outstanding natural beauty to visit. The whole of Pafos is a World Heritage Site with the most exquisite mosaics and Roman remains, the Odeon, the Lighthouse and the Tombs of the Kings. You can be at the peak of the Troodos mountains within an hour, making the apartment well placed for summer day trips, or to experience the fantastic winter ski facilities.

Notes on accommodation: The bedrooms are fully air-conditioned. Ceiling fans in all the rooms, the sitting room also has sliding doors to the balcony and an upstairs door onto the roof terrace, providing deliciously welcome cool breezes! In the cooler months the air-conditioners may be used to heat the bedrooms, and there are oscillating halogen heaters for the sitting/dining/bedrooms. For those who like to holiday in the cooler months of the year, you will find plenty of blankets in the cupboards. We have aimed to make our apartment a home from home, and hope you will find all the comforts and conveniences that make a holiday really pleasurable, so you will find extra pillows in the wardrobes, plenty of decent hangers, a superbly equipped kitchen. There is also a library of books, a selection of DVDs and videos, board games and cards which you are welcome to use during your stay. The apartment is suitable for families, but there are no internal stair-gates, so it is not so good for very young toddlers. Outside: Our apartment benefits from it's own private roof garden, which can only be reached from inside the apartment. It features a pergola with four sun loungers, a table and chairs for six with a large sun umbrella and barbecue. You may use the barbecue facilities on the roof, but never under the pergola. On the covered balcony, off the sitting room we have another table and chairs seating six. The large communal pool (the largest in Peyia) is a one minute walk from the apartment through the mature gardens of the complex. The gardens are very well maintained with beautiful palm trees, flowering shrubs and bushes. The pool area is cleaned daily, and has sun beds and sun umbrellas for the patrons' use. For your convenience there is also a poolside shower and toilet block. The pool which is regularly maintained, is not heated, but in the summer months is like a warm bath! Utility Room: Washing machine, clothes-airer, pegs, ironing board, iron, bucket and mop, brushes, dusters etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath, hand towels and bed linen are provided. Beach towels NOT provided. The apartment is cleaned prior to occupation, and on departure. Mid-stay clean can be arranged and paid in advance. Guests may wash linen and towels as required, or use a service. Other: A beautiful, private roof terrace reached by an internal staircase from the sitting-room. Featuring a scented garden, pergola and sun loungers, and stunning panoramic views to the coast. There is a table and six chairs, umbrella and barbecue facilities

Booking Notes:
Please call us or send an email, we will endeavour to meet your every need. Bookings will be confirmed with a 50% deposit by cheque, a £120 security deposit cheque must be sent as well, this will be returned after the holiday, to ensure no major accidents or thefts at the property! (excluding small accidents ie broken crockery). The balance is required 4 weeks prior to arrival. Please note that we do not accept pets and that it is a NO smoking apartment. Welcome packs and airport transfers can be arranged for an extra cost.

Changeover Day:
This is flexible. The apartment can be occupied from 3pm on the day of arrival, and should be vacated by 11am on the day of departure. If you have an early morning arrival or an evening departure, we will do our best to help you.

Notes on prices:
All prices are quoted in UK pounds per week. If you are interested in a long let, we are very happy to discuss a mutually agreeable price.
