Apartment in Old Town Albufeira, central Algarve - Situated in a sought after location in old town Albufeira, 5min walk to Beach
The complex is well positioned and only a short stroll away from the new marina, beach and the historic old town where you can enjoy your evenings in the many restaurants and bars overlooking the bay. A well stocked supermarket (which has a cash machine) is only a three minute walk away, serving fresh bread. A range of activities and attractions are close by, including golf courses, Zoomarine, water parks and shops. Located directly across the road is the 4 star Boavista Hotel where you may dine or use the Spa and pool facilities.
This recently finished apartment has sea views from the south facing front balcony, while the rear balcony which overlooks the heated pool, is bathed in sunshine until late evening. The fully air conditioned apartment has a superbly equipped kitchen, and lounge area with Sky TV, DVD, and playstation 2, with a comfortable sofa bed, two bathrooms and two bedrooms with excellent storage space and a secure safe.

Libby and myself came to Albufeira eight years ago, and fell in love with the place. One of the best decisions of our lives to have bought a property here, we have had so many good times, and has been a pleasure to meet so many friendly local people.
The picture above taken in our favourite restaurant "casa Da Fonte" where José(the owner) has provided some fantastic nights including two fiftieth birthday parties!

With 22 years of coming to Albufeira it was great to find these lovely apartments in the exact location that suits us - convenient to walk into the Old Town and also to the up and coming Marina. Spacious, clean and perfectly equipped they were perfect for our family of 4. Great communication and detailed instructions about everything. Thank you
Lovely apartment, ideal location
Large apartment ideally located , close enough to easily walk to beach, old town and marina, but away from noise and rabble! Walk back up wasn't really an issue,even teenager didn't complain! All you need for an enjoyable stay, fully equipped for cooking (not that we did, too many lovely restaurants in the town). Supermarket, small friendly bar and restaurant 2 mins away, 10 mins walk to old town and beach. Only 2 (slight) negatives, we weren't allowed into bar in the hotel opposite one afternoon when we tried to go for a drink and there are no parasol bases by the pool, but really neither were going to ruin my holiday. Lovely week, helped by fab weather.
Well equipped 2 bedroomed apartment with everything you could wish for, and very secure.
Fully fitted kitchen with all the appliances you could need. Large fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, dishwasher etc., and lots of pans and crockery if you wanted to cook. We made a sandwich or two and had cereal for breakfast but ate out mostly. There are lots of restaurants to suit every taste and wallet. You won't be disappointed.
The apartment is not far from the beach which can be reached by a nearby lift. The sea was very cold when we were there, but the beach is lovely. If you don't want to go to the beach there is a swimming pool at the rear of the apartment, but it was rather cold in May, but a good place to sunbathe.
There are two small supermarkets nearby for essentials and a larger one by car or taxi.
We wouldn't hesitate to return to this apartment, but what I would say is that if you are not very mobile this apartment is not for you as there are a few hills to climb to get back to the apartment.
We have just returned from a fabulous stay at the apartment. It was spotlessly clean with all mod cons . Loved having 2 balconies to choose from and my boys (age7 and 5) loved the pool. situated in a quiet area but only a short stroll to the beach and old town it was an ideal place to stay and we can't recommend it highly enough.
I am a regular visitor to Albufeira and having stayed in a number of different properties over the past few years, Jon and Libby`s apartment is always my first choice, and I have been fortunate enough to stay there on several occasions, most recently for three weeks in September and October 2013.
I guess I can only echo what other guests have written about the apartment. Always clean, very comfortable, well furnished and well maintained.
I would also add that, from my own personal experience, Jon and Libby are always happy to assist guests with any additional requirements they may have.
The apartment itself is located on the first floor and served by a staircase and lift.
There are 24 apartments in total in the complex.
The location of the complex is excellent, just a short walk into the Old Town or to the beach.

Activity and Interests
The beautiful Fisherman's beach is just a 5 min stroll from the apartment, and a newly installed lift takes you right down onto the golden sands.
There are numerous secluded beaches to explore if you wish to hire a car.
The apartment is a 30 min drive from the airport.
Return transfers can be easily arranged.
For those who get restless on the sun bed there are a multitude of activities available, including: para gliding, jet boat trips, fishing trips, swimming with dolphins, waterparks, go karting, golf, Quad bike tours, Algarve shopping centre with a vast array of boutiques.
