Secluded 3 bed cottage with panoramic views over open countryside

Overview

Property

Updated: 23-Nov-2016
Thorpe Market, North Norfolk - Cromer 10min drive away

This cottage was my home for 6 years, I loved it so much I couldn't bear to part with it, and now continue to enjoy it myself and enjoy other's enjoyment of it !

The railway line to the rear of cottage has frequent trains to Sheringham from where a steam train runs to Holt in summer months and to the unique city of Norwich via the Broads.

There are numerous beautiful beaches and National Trust properties within day visit distance. Felbrigg Hall and Blickling are always popular. www.nationaltrust.org.uk

The newly extended Norfolk Coast Path runs along the coast about 10mins drive away. www.nationaltrail.co.uk/peddars-way-and-norfolk-coast-path. Walks and cycles can be taken directly from the cottage along footpaths and a network of quiet lanes.

There are also many child friendly attractions in the area- shire horses, seal trips, maize mazes etc.

Bewilderwood is a hit with the young ones www.bewilderwood.co.uk.

The cottage is the middle of a terrace of three with fields to front and rear. There is small courtyard garden to the rear of the cottage and a large secluded front garden with summer house. Please note the cottage is accessed by an unadopted road and may be unsuitable for vehicles with a low chassis, there is a pond in the front garden.

About the Owner

This cottage was my home for 6 yrs, work in Africa and then in Northamptonshire dragged me away..... I let it out for holidays to friends ,family and their contacts for 3 yrs, then decided to advertise on this site as a new venture, it has now been let through owners direct for 6 years. I just love the cottage... love others to love it and want to keep it for me to visit and to return to permanently in the future. ...I hope you visit and I hope you enjoy...

A charming, comfortable cottage in very tranquil setting and with easy access to many places.

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed every minute of our stay with its clear views over fields to the rear of the cottage, surrounded by birdsong.

Ali had provided everything you could possibly want from a holiday home and, had the weather been warmer, her garden would have been a pleasure to sit in and pass the time away.
