Stunning 2 bedroomed apartment with the 'wow' factor, 5 mins walking distance from the beach it is large and spacious, open plan with a fully fitted modern kitchen, the views are second to none, the pool area has its own Jacuzzi and toilets, it is set within a very pretty garden and is fully gated and private.. beach restaurants -2- are excellent and marvellous value, not the average beach restaurants but top quality and wonderful fresh fish Lagos Marina is just 5 minutes away by car as is Lagos centre full of bars and restaurants and trendy shops, the surrounding area is peaceful and perfect for walking

About the Owner

The area of Lagos is delightful peaceful and very resting, it is the new place to be, it used to be Marbella, or St Tropez, not any more Lagos is new fresh and not commercialised, heaven! just dip your toe in that water, a class act in every way, I have lived in Spain, but found Portugal so much friendlier, the people like us being there. I fell in love with Porto de Mos as soon as I saw it, the golfing is second to none. My hobby is interior design, I love the French style having lived in France, this apartment is not the usual 'rental' style -if you like somewhere special, this apartment is definately that! Great Apartment

Marie was very prompt throughout the booking answering all our questions, Apartment in a great quiet location , it's very spacious with great views of the sea . Lagos about 5 minute drive away or 20 minute walk with lots of choice of restaurants

Excellent Holiday for Two Seniors

We had not visited Portugal for more than 35 years - when our children were very young, so we thought that we would visit again this Spring. The booking

process was straightforward and we arranged to collect a car at the airport as we normally use our accommodation as a base to explore the area.

The apartment more than exceeded our expectations and we thought that it was very good value for the money

We liked the local marina waterfront and loved having a meal overlooking the sea. There are so many good local restaurants that we only had breakfast in the apartment.

All in all, I would highly recommend Marie`s apartment to all ages and certainly to seniors who like to do their own exploring

Really lovely apartment

We have been to this part pf Lagos a few times but this apartment has to be the by far the best one we have stayed at, the interior is of a very high standard indeed and I must admit the photographs dont show how lovely it is,

The views are amazing front and rear- and we got the sun all day - from the double bedroom there are french windows where you see the sea whilst in bed.

The pool area is set in very pretty gardens, with outside toilet/shower etc but as the sea is just 5 minutes walk away so we didnt use the pool so much

The area itself is a very peaceful place and perfect for walking, Surprisingly the beach restaurants are of a high standard and very reasonable

STUNNING APARTMENT

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this apartment and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The views are amazing both front and rear. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard. The kitchen has high spec appliences. There is a swimming pool with sun loungers, showers, outside toilets and a Jacuzzi. The sandy beach is a 5 minute walk away and has 2 fantastic restaurants on there. I will definatly be returning.

gorgeous place

This apartment was really lovely, amazing sea views, sun all day and rear views overlooking lagos for miles. Was lovely to wake up to sea views from the main bedroom. The area is perfect for walking, lovely scenery and we walked to lagos in around 20 mins, beach is 5 mins, although a car is usefull. The apartment is spacious, light, clean and beautifully furnished. Enjoyed our stay here enormously and would definately stay again, highly recommend it.

Wonderful Stay

I have had the pleasure of staying at both of this owner's apartments [Ref P8378] and haven't been disappointed by either. I loved the tasteful decor of the apartment and the kitchen was really well equipped and found it reached a very high standard of cleanliness. Fabulous sea view from the balcony and bedroom and was good sitting out there in the evening. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and great fish restaurants on the beach for lunchtime/evening dining and not too expensive. The property is well situated and I was struck by how quiet it was, so ended up feeling very relaxed at then end of the holiday. The owner was always contactable and was very helpful with information prior to my visit.

The Portuguese people are so lovely, still steeped in old traditions, the children are very well mannered and brought up very well and are a credit to Portugal. I can recommend Lagos for buying as well as renting, what a lovely place to retire

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Porto Mos beach 5 mins walking distance, beach has restaurants of very good standard indeed, other beaches of which there are a few can be reached by foot (15/20 mins) or car 5 mins. But Porto de Mos beach is in my opinion the best in or around Lagos

Travel:

Faro airport, 40 mins, car handy but taxis are good and very reasonable.

Distances:

Lagos 5 mins by car.

Further Details:

A very good supermarket is nearby.
