Apartment in Newquay, Cornwall, England - Overlooking Cornwall's Premier Surfing Beach

Waters Edge is a privately owned development of 18 one and two bedroom apartments situated approx 1 mile west of Newquay town centre. The apartment enjoys uninterrupted views over Fistral Beach. Our second floor two-bedroom apartment features a newly refurbished kitchen and bathroom. We offer Sky World, which includes movies, sports and a host of other channels. Complimentary WiFi internet access is available. The apartment is perfectly situated for beach activities including surfing. Newquay golf links is less than a mile away, other activities include fishing and horse riding, all available locally. Cornwall's world famous attraction, the Eden Project is just 21 miles away. For walkers, the 258 miles of Cornwall's coastal footpath can be joined right across the road. Jamie Oliver's 15 restaurant can be found at nearby Watergate Bay. Further along the coast at Padstow is Rick Stein's famous seafood restaurant.

About the Owner

We have owned our apartment at Waters Edge since 1999. We were just lucky to be in the right place at the right time when the apartments came onto the market. We instantly realised that views like this don't come around very often and did not hesitate to make the investment. We moved to Cornwall from Shepperton in 2008 and I was able to continue my part-time career as a deputy marriage registrar. We love to spend time at Waters Edge ourselves and our hope is that our guests feel as comfortable and relaxed as we do. We are a very small business and any contact you make with us will be with either myself or my husband. The majority of business is with repeat customers and I invite you to see some of their comments on our website.

From the Owner

We bought our property primarily for the spectacular view that it affords. We love the area for the great surfing, the coastal footpaths and nearby golf courses. Waters Edge is on the quiet Pentire headland, which is one and a half miles from the hustle and bustle of Newquay town centre.

Activity and Interests


Fistral, Newquay's premier surfing beach, is across the road and down the steps. The town also boasts another four beaches all within 3.5 miles of Waters Edge.


Newquay Airport is 7 miles away. Whilst the use of a car is not essential, it would be useful to be able to explore the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer.

Booking Notes:
Please contact owner for booking form details. We require a £100 deposit. The balance is due 28 days before your holiday together with a separate £100 damage bond cheque (this will be returned within 7 days after check-out). We only accept cheques and these should be made payable to Mrs P. Smart.
Check in should not be before 4pm and check out by 10am.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday although we can be more flexible out of season.

Notes on prices:
19th December 2015 - 2nd January 2016 £95 per night.
Short breaks when available (not high season) 3: nights £90 per night, 4 nights £80 per night, 5 nights £70 per night.
