Cumbre Del Sol is clean, quite and well maintained. The property was far better than expected. It was clean, well furnished, nicely decorated and well equiped. The view from the large balcony was spectacular (best view from an apartment I have ever experienced) with a 180deg sea view.

The infinity pools were well maintained and spotlessly clean, only a few yards away from the apartment. A well equiped supermarket, restaurant & bar are about 2k away, as is a lovely sheltered beach with a bar.

The letting agency services were top class and highly recommended with a lovely welcome pack. thank you April.

You will need a car but car hire is very easy and cheap. Book before you travel.

Fantastic apartment - A home from home

The apartment is fantastic and I can't fault it at all, right from when Brian met us at the apartment with a hamper full of essentials (including champagne). The property has everything you need and really is a home from home, the views are spectacular. The pools are a minute away and have stunning views. The location is great as you are about 10 minutes from Beaches in Moraira and 20 minutes from the beaches/town of Javea. For me the added bonus was the wifi :)

I would recommend Casa Azur and Brian to anyone. Fantastic apartment and great value for money. Nicole :)

Activity and Interests

Car: necessary

Special interest holidays:

The location of this area with both mountains and sea mean that there is plenty for every one to do from water sports and fishing to mountain bike riding and horse riding. Inland is the wine making region of Jalon and for the children the theme parks of Benidorm are just a short drive away (approximately 40 minutes).

Coast/Beach:

A short drive will take you to the Cumbre del Sol public pool with snack bar and pool tables, and a well established, more formal Spanish restaurant for evening dining. There is also a well-stocked supermarket, pharmacy, and bank with ATM facilities. The nearest beach is within a 5 minute drive. Cumbre del Sol (mountain of the sun) is located between the popular holiday towns of Moraira and Javea.

Travel:

Alicante is the nearest airport, approximately 1 hours drive away and Valencia is approximately 1.5 hours drive away.

Distances:

The lively resort of Benidorm is approximately 45 minutes drive away, the inland wine making town of Jalon just 30 minutes - from where you continue upwards into the Sierra Bernia Mountains. Javea is approximately 15 minutes away and just a little further on you will find Gata de Gorgos where authentic Spanish Guitars are made.

Nightlife and amenities: Within the town of Moraira, there are many cocktail bars, pubs and clubs. An abundance of different restaurants, including Italian, Greek, Spanish, Belgian, German, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, English and fresh fish restaurants to tempt your palette, plus great fast food take away paellas, pizzas, fish and chips or barbecue chicken and the ever popular modern supermarkets. Market day, not to be missed, is Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm, with free parking. You will find an array of local organic fruit, veg, cured meats, Spanish cheeses, eggs and tempting sweet stalls, clothing, handbags, jewellery, carpets, paintings, pottery, local leather shoes, lace table cloths - to name but a few of the delightful products available at this traditional and bustling market.
