Being all on one level (apart from one step) this property would suit people with mobility problems. A car is essential.

The villa has air conditioning ( hot & cold) to all rooms. Other facilities provided include tables, chairs and parasols for outside dining, sunloungers, outdoor games plus all crockery, cutlery and utensils that could be required.
Hacienda del Alamo is a luxury, gated golf resort which boasts an 18 hole 6700m competition course designed by Dave Thomas, a 6 hole 1250m practice course, putting green, a two storey driving range, clubhouse with bar/restaurant, and a pro shop.

The staff on the resort were all really friendly - We took the kids to Terra Natura in Murcia - and you got in free the next day with your ticket. A worthwhile visit for families.

Much needed relaxing holiday
Just returned from a wonderful stay at the villa. It was an ideal place to relax located in a very peaceful setting. So much so that my husband and I and the kids were rarely out of bed before 11 am. The villa was well equipped with all the things we needed to make our stay very comfortable and the kids enjoyed playing with the wide selection of games that were provided including the garden snakes and ladders and Jenga. Unlike some villas which have pools and are very cramped outside, there was plenty of space surrounding the pool for the kids to play with a ball or the swing ball that was available at the property. Our evenings were spent either by the pool having a BBQ, at the Spaniard Inn which was less than a 5 minute walk away or up at Kennellys bar (slightly longer walk) where the kids enjoyed the weekly karaoke event (Sunday evenings). The sports bar also organised for a Spanish football coach to come over twice a week to provide football training for our youngest whilst we enjoyed a gin and tonic soaking up the last few hours of the day’s sunshine. In addition, a new tapas bar was set up whilst we were there and the food was fantastic. I would definitely recommend a visit. Unfortunately we never made it to the golf club as we ran out of days but others highly recommended a visit for lunch or dinner. We took a trip to Mazarron (just over half an hour away) which was lovely. The breeze from the sea kept us cool as we walked around the marina before settling down on the beach whilst the kids enjoyed the giant inflatable (it’s a knockout kind of inflatable) in the sea. All in all we couldn’t have asked for more from a holiday and most of all we didn’t need to get up at silly o’clock to get a sunbed! Also we were able to stay in the property for a small extra charge the day we left as our flight wasn't until 8pm which also added to the convenience and relations. Lovely villa with pool
We had a wonderful stay at this villa in the sun set in a peaceful golf resort.
The villa came with everything we required for a lovely stay, and the highlight was most definitely the fantastic pool which the children wanted to spend every minute of the day in!
Clean and tidy, and the owner was a pleasure to deal. We would highly recommend to all, and will likely be back ourselves.
The surrounding area is quiet (exactly what we were after) and there are a couple of bars on the resort of which we'd recommend the Spaniard Inn for decent food and drink at a reasonable price. Travel further afield and there are a selection of beaches, historic Cartagena, and various attractions (the park in Tentagorra is great for young children with a pirate ship in the pool!).
Home from Home (with sun)
We have recently returned from a week at Hacienda del Alomo in Murcia. the Villa of Nigel Farrar and his wife. We found the villa was very well equipped and ideal for anyone wanting a quieter type of holiday or a golf holiday as it is in an eighteen hole award winning golf course.We found all the staff at the resort to be very helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful holiday, the villa is absolutely perfect, everything you could ever want and more! I would also like to say that Mike and his family were brilliant (property management company) they were so helpful and nice and reassuring to know that they are just around the corner if you need them. I asked my wife and the kids to think think of anything that could be improved? And apart from saying we wished we had stayed longer, we all came to the conclusion that our holiday this summer in this villa... Was 100% perfect and the benchmark for any future holidays!

The lack of high rise and high density development is very refreshing. This area is Spain's best kept secret!”
Activity and Interests
The port of Cartegena is 20 minutes drive away and has a wide range of shopping and historical sites. The beaches of the Mar Menor, Mazzaron, Los Alcazares and Los Narejos are all within easy reach, each boasting long sandy beaches with paved walkways and endless bars and cafes. Water sports enthusiasts (including scuba diving) are all well catered for.
The nearest airport is Murcia (San Javier) which is 30 mins drive away and has flights from low cost airlines such as Ryanair, Monarch and Jet2, flying from most UK regional airports. A new international airport is due to open at Corvera which is only 15 mins from the resort. Alicante airport is approx 1 and 1/2 hours with a full range of international and inter-continental carriers. Use of a car is essential.
The nearest town, Fuente Alamo, is a typical Spanish town 5 minutes drive away and has a well stocked supermarket and a range of shops, bars and restaurants. The town also holds a traditional market on a Saturday morning. The city of Murcia is 25 minutes north and boasts a magnificent Cathedral, numerous historic buildings plus enough shops to satisfy most retail therapy needs! Granada and the Alhambra Palace are approx 2 ½ hours drive away but are well worth the visit.
A 5 star hotel has been built adjacent to the stunning clubhouse and it is hoped it will open in the next year or so. The 'Pueblo Espanol', a purpose built town on the resort, is now finished and provides first class facilities for shops and restaurants, a couple of which are now occupied including a bar/restaurant and mini-market. The resort is surrounded by the majestic hills and mountains of the Murcia region providing stunning views. The main industry of the region is agriculture leading to acres and acres of fruit trees and vegetable crops rather than concrete and high rise developments. The Region of Murcia has miles of sandy beaches – the Costa Calida (Warm Coast) - rugged mountains and lakes - fertile plains capable of growing pretty much anything from salad vegetables to cotton and rice, oranges and lemons to grapes and apricots. Murcia has all of this as well as the healthiest climate in Europe (according to the World Health Organisation) with more than 320 days of sunshine per year and an average annual temperature 30C.

Rental charges include water and electricity at normal consumption rates. A non refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 8 weeks before departure. A 10% discount will apply to subsequent consecutive weeks. A refundable deposit of £175 will be required with the balance of the rental. This will be refunded within 2 weeks once the villa and inventory have been checked. The renter is liable for all breakages/damages.
The changeover day is normally a Saturday. However, we can be flexible with this at times, dependent upon time of year or duration of booking. Arrival time 4pm departure 10am.
