Villa in Benalmadena Costa, Costa del Sol, Spain - Lovely Private Villa/town house with Sun Terrace, 3-4 Mins Walk to Beach


The feedback we get most, is that its home from home. Being a former family home it has everything you could need. All beds and bedding have just been renewed together with rattan patio furniture (photos not all updated)

There is a new widescreen tv with English channels and DVD player.

Please note that we only take bookings from the UK. Apologies to those who would be ineligible to let.

This spacious beautiful 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom villa/townhouse is located 3 mins walk from the beach and many attractions Benalmadena has to offer; vast sandy beaches, outstanding Marina, and the picturesque village of Arroya de la Miel to name a few.

The property is two storey and has a kingsize bed in the main bedroom, twin beds in the second bedroom, one single in third bedroom with a pull out foam matress. Downstairs there is one small double sofa bed and one full size double sofa bed.

With its own spacious private terrace it is perfect for lazing in the sun and makes a perfect location for alfresco dining (New BBQ ). The terrace leads into the living/dining room with leather sofas and fully equipped kitchen inc. microwave, fridge/freezer,etc. and downstairs wc. Fitted with ceiling fans and air-conditioning throughout.

There is a really large supermarket opposite with superb fresh seafood ranging from local fish and favourites such as salmon and tuna to every shellfish you can imagine. They also have fresh meat counters and bake bread all day. We BBQ frequently and the produce is as fine as any restaurant. There are also some really nice restaurants within a minute's walk.

It is situated in one of the roads immediately off the main coastal road in Benalmadena which is more exclusive than other local resorts. There are bus stops really close which will take you up into the village or even all the way to Gibraltar! If you hire a car you are just a couple of minutes away from the main motorway which goes all the way along the coast to Marbella, Malaga, Gibraltar or inland to places like Rhonda or Seville. It is really well placed to reach pretty much anywhere and there is plenty of parking close to the villa. If you are interested in golf there are an abundance of good courses.

There is free roadside parking outside.

About Carol

Our parents have owned holiday accommodation in this region for 30 years and we have enjoyed time and time again family holidays in this fantastic location. Over the years our children, aged between 5 and 23 are now appreciating the exceptional variety of amenities Benalmadena and the surrounding area has to offer. Three family generations continue to enjoy this because it has something to offer everyone. It is our family dream to all retire here eventually, but in the meantime we would like to give others the opportunity to experience the homely comforts the villa provides.

Why Carol chose Torrequebrada

If you want to be in the perfect location for the beach (2 mins walk), bars/restaurants and supermarket less than 200m away and all amenities within walking distance or venture further on local buses, then this is the ideal place for a holiday. Being a house with a patio including bbq you can suit yourself whether you want to eat in, laze in the sun till it goes down all in the privacy of your own surroundings, or go out and join in the holiday activities and stroll to local entertainment and culinary delights.

What makes this villa unique

We have found the convenience of walking to the beach within a couple of minutes invaluable. We like nothing better than to take fresh fruit and chilled sangria to the beach to keep our appetite sated whilst relaxing in the sun. The beach has recently been upgraded to include lifeguards and is accessible and has facilities for disabled people.

For those golfers amongst us the location offers some of the best golf courses on the south coast all year round.

In terms of family entertainment, children never need be bored as there is an abundance of water parks, attractions and places of interest within close proximity.

Excellent facilities, the bed and pillows were amongst the most comfortable we have had ever had in a self catering property. We met the lady who looks after the property on arrival and had a lovely friendly welcome which was a great start to our holiday. There is a very informative folder in the villa with all information you would need for your stay. We loved Benalmadena and the busy bustle along the promenade and in the local town. Notes on accommodation: The property is very secure, ideal for families with children. Fully air conditioning/heating throughout. Situated very close to excellent public transport, you can travel to the village or as far as Gibraltar if you wish. A couple of mins away is Tivoli world theme park, adjacent to which you will find regular markets. A hypermarket, chemist (English speaking), dentist, hairdressers and variety of international restaurants even a taxi rank within a couple of minutes walk. For those who like to enjoy the late night life, there is 24 hour square with a number of bars and clubs and for those looking for something more exclusive, the Marina has an array of clubs and bars open until the early hours of the morning. We leave brochures and information books in the villa with recommendations for excursions, amusements and restaurants. Outside: On the sun terrace there is a suite of rattan furniture - featuring 6 seater table/chairs; two seater sofa, armchairs and coffee table; loungers and a variety of other comfortable garden furniture. There is also a brand new gas barbecue for alfresco dining on those lazy evenings. A hypermarket is opposite with extensive fresh fish/meat counters. Bed linen is provided and there are always clean towels but feel free to bring your own +beach towels. Villa is cleaned before each changeover. Other: The air-con heats as well as cools. A Gas fire is available for colder months. Gas is included in the rental price and a weekly allowance on electic meter (you can add coins if needed) All consumables need to be provided

Excellent Accomodation

Just spent a week at this great villa with some friends. Spotlessly clean, very well furnished inside and out. Excellent location for shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. Patio is a suntrap so spent a lot of time out there. We all said we would definitely go back.

The house is well equipped, clean and comfortable

Myself and my partner stayed for 5 nights and loved it. The house is well equipped (although we didn't cook) and is walking distance from many bars, restaurants and the beach. You do get traffic noise from the busy road the house backs on to but this wouldn't stop us from booking again.

Location was brill,3mins from beach and easy walking to marina area on sea front and little further into torremolinos . Short bus ride the other way and you are in fuengirola ,we visited both places twice during our 2 week stay. House was much bigger than expected and well maintained with plenty of room to sunbath..

Already booked for next year as we enjoyed this year

Brilliant benalmedena base

Lovely 3 bed property , 2 mins from the fantastic beach , supermarket with everything you could need just over the road . Gas bbq on the terrace , full kitchen facilities inside so eating in always an option , but very good cheap restaurants on your door step so take your pick.

We had a fantastic week , scorching weather , so air con in the bedrooms and living area was great.

The villa has undergone some major refurbishment which was completed May 2016. There is new totally modern and spacious ground floor area with a beautiful open plan kitchen and breakfast/dining area leading through to the living area with comfortable leather sofas and tv/dvd etc. The refurbishment includes elegant floor and wall tiles, lights, blinds and curtains.


Situated 20 minute stroll from the fabulous Puerto Marina with its excellent restaurants and bars for a la carte cuisine. Around the Marina are many activities for children & plenty of shops. For those that enjoy late nights the bars/clubs are plentiful. Accessible local days out include Malaga; Torremolinos; Fuengirola and Gibralta. If you like traditional family entertainment then head to Bonanza Square and Tivoli World. Alternatively there is an aquapark & Sealife Centre conveniently located.


Situated only a 20 minute drive from Malaga airport. Car hire and taxis are readily available. However, it is extremely easy to jump on the train that stops a short distance from the Villa. Airport to villa: Taxi - around 20 minutes to the villa and approx 30 euros. Train - around 20 minutes (plus bus) and less than 5 euros. Guests will be sent information about transfer options and exact location at the time of booking.


There are numerous places of interest to visit whilst on holiday in Benalmadena Costa. Malaga City (birthplace of Pablo Picasso) only 20km away. Along the road, 2 minutes walk from the back door is a travel agent where tours can be booked to Gibraltar, Cordoba, and Rhonda, as well as many other places of interest. Local transport is cheap and readily available. A new high speed train service is now available from Malaga to Madrid in just 2 hrs. 40 mins.

The Villa is ideally situated in an excellent location with all amenities in the immediate vicinity. There are a large number of restaurants catering for all palates and pockets with 5 minutes walk, as well as numerous bars and cafes. The cable car at Tivoli World, Arroya de la Miel, takes you up to the mountain top of Calamorro (724 meters). Other attractions in and around the area include Selwo Sea Life Aquarium, Paloma Park, Tivoli World Amusement Park, Mijas Aqua Park, Torremolinos Aqua Park, Go-Karting and Fuengirola Zoo. You can even travel to Gibraltar for the day.
