The villa is a beautiful, detached property on the edge of a town called Nerja. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and lounges. Private pool 8x4 metres, 1-2 metres deep. Private garden with mature trees and grass. Barbeque area. Parking outside the villa. The house is in one of Nerja's most select areas on the road to Burriana beach, a very quiet residential area. The beach is half a mile and town centre one mile.

Villa Pueblo Jara

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in the Villa Pueblo Jara in Nerja. The villa provided very good accommodation and excellent facilities for the youngest in the family to the oldest, even the walk down to the beach was manageable pushing a buggy with a baby in it.

The villa is well equipped with everything that you would need and the owner very accommodating with replying to any queries. The pool was a favourite with the grandchildren and the adults alike; there are also plenty of areas that have shade, particularly important with young children, in the heat of the day. The main eating table outside was in the shade and provided a good central place when it was really hot for the children to sit and draw etc. without being in the full sun.

Another useful facility was the DVD player and the WiFi connection.

The place was very well maintained with the gardener calling during the week to water the planted areas and maintain the pool. There are gates to close off the lower pool area from the top accommodation so even with a baby just over a year old there were no issues. A washing machine was available, again very useful with a young baby.

We walked to the beach although the road down is quite steep. One of the youngest, 4 years old, and the oldest all managed it albeit at a slower pace. There is also a large supermarket just 10 mins walk up the road which does everything that might be needed including some lovely croissants. and very good rioja!!

We did hirer a car for a couple of days in the middle of the week but the taxis is only 6/7 euros from the centre of the town to the villa.

We can thoroughly recommend the villa and thank Cecillia for all her help in booking and on our arrival. We didn't want to leave but very much hope to return in the not too distant future.

Very spacious ideal for familly or friends sharing. Property is situated in a quiet residential area but still within walking distance to restaurants, beaches and supermarkets.

  • Notes on accommodation: The villa has two parts. Upstairs is a three-bedroom, two bathroom, well appointed kitchen, large open lounge and dining room, Sky television. The balcony to one side of the villa has a panoramic view of the countryside to the Almijara mountains. The front balcony overlooks the private swimming-pool and views of the sea and Africa on a clear day. Large terrace to front with barbeque. Below is a separate, self-contained apartment with well equipped kitchen, bathroom, lounge/dining room and two bedrooms with two single beds and a double bed. In the grounds surrounding the house are mature fruit trees including apricots, peaches, cherries and grape vines. The villa is fully furnished and equipped. Outside: Sun beds, three outside tables and many chairs in terraces. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: House linen is provided, please bring your own beach towels.
