Cottage in Brancaster, Norfolk - Walking distance to Pub, Restaurant, Beach, Golf Course, Child & Dog Friendly

Rosa Cottage is at the end of a narrow lane with open farmland to the South and West. The lane is part of the North Norfolk Coastal path and all that you are liking to see passing the door are walkers, dogs and the occasional tractor. The house and garden are ideal for guests with children or dogs as the rear of the cottage is enclosed. There is a lovely light sitting room with open fire, dining area, kitchen, new bathroom with bath and powerful shower, two double and one single bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob and extractor, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Behind and to the side of the cottage is a lovely sheltered patio and private garden. The garden faces South and the patio West so provides a lovely afternoon and evening (in the Summer) sun trap. There is ample parking space for several cars. Free Wireless Broadband is included. Well-behaved children and dogs are very welcome. No smoking.

Rosa Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for a lovely stay in Rosa Cottage. It was a very comfortable and cosy cottage to stay in, the added bonus of an open fire was a lovely way to round off our day as the weather was very windy and chilly. However, the weather didn't stop us enjoying the stunning walks and beaches in and around Brancaster. Brancaster and Holkam beaches are amazing and our dog loved them. We took advantage of the fish and chip take away service The Ship pub in Brancaster. Very tasty but order the large portion and the small was tiny! We also enjoyed a couple of lunches at The Jolly Sailor in Brancaster Staithe which was excellent and very child and dog friendly. We can highly recommend staying at Rosa Cottage and hope to return soon. It's perfectly placed for exploring the wonderful North Norfolk Coast and is a great place to stay.

Brilliant place to stay

  • 5 of 5

This was a really lovely place to stay - clean and warm, a cosy open fire for the evenings and the beds are so comfortable. Its right beside the coastal walk and Brancaster beach is perfect for exercising people and dogs - miles of open sand and lots of birds to be seen. Everything was as described and the owner was very helpful and pleasant. I'd certainly recommend this property to others - and hopefully I'll be able to stay there again myself.

For those who know Brancaster you will know why we have chosen this seaside village as your weekend or holiday retreat, for those who don't it's time you found out! Rosa Cottage in Brancaster is peaceful and private but not isolated and is the perfect holiday home for couples or families. It sleeps five comfortably. We invite you to share it with us. If, like us, you enjoy a lovely beach, great walking, fine dining, good pub lunches and attractive villages you will enjoy visiting our Norfolk home. If you enjoy sailing and golf it is all on your doorstep. Not to mention a little shopping trip just up the road to the delightful village of Burnham Market.
