Only a 55 minute drive from faro airport, 7a Monte Lemos is a delightful villa located in a peaceful cul-de-sac in Praia da Luz. It has a private pool, which can be heated, in its own garden and is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shops and supermarket.

The villa is furnished to a high standard and has air conditioning in each of the bedrooms.

The larger town of Lagos is a short 10 minute drive away.

Coast/Beach:

The glorious sandy beach of Praia da Luz is a 10 minute walk away. Very safe for children, with the added attraction of rock pools at one end of the beach. Water sports are available, including banana rides and windsurfing. There are also a number of horse riding centres in the Luz area, which cater for all ages and levels of skill.

Travel:

Faro airport is approx. 55 min. drive. A new section of motorway (A2) opened in June 2003 connecting Faro to Lagos. Junction 1 is just 5 Kms from the Villa. Regular trains run between Faro and Lagos. The Villa is just a 10-15 min. taxi ride from the train station at Lagos. A car is not required but can be rented in the village for day trips to explore the Algarve. There is plenty of car parking space available for guests immediately outside the villa.

Further Details:

Praia da Luz has surprising facilities for a village. There are lots of restaurants, catering for all tastes, as well as bars, banks, post office. Several supermarkets are tucked away in the back streets. The largest (Baptista) offers telephone ordering and free delivery. There is a 24 hour medical facility as well as dentists.

  • Notes on accommodation: The villa is furnished to an extremely high standard, including comfortable sofas and chairs, a large dining suite, Sky TV with English channels, built-in DVD player, CD player, good selection of books, wall-mounted safe. Upstairs, there are sliding doors to a terrace from the lounge. The kitchen is well equipped, including dishwasher and washing machine and there is a gas fire in the lounge. Downstairs, it has 3 double bedrooms. Outside: Spacious sun terrace and south facing swimming pool with poolside furniture. The villa is totally enclosed and has a gated entrance. The villa has a natural free form pebble pool, there are steps down to the shallow end and underwater lighting. Gardening and weekly pool maintenance service included. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The linen and towels are included. The maid comes once a week to clean and change the linen and towels, but upon request most arrangements can be catered for. Beach towels are also incuded. Other: Guest wc: Fully tiled with toilet, basin and mirror.
