Duplex Apartment in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote - 2 minutes from Beach

The property is light as the open-plan, living level ceiling is dominated by a large sky light (Which is recommended to be open) and the patio doors which lead on to the balcony; which is south facing.

The living room regularly updated to keep the property fresh and tasteful for our guests. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need including: Cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster.

The bedrooms are large and spacious and kept cool by their lower level position. The main bedroom provides a king size bed, whereas the 2nd bedroom provides two singles.

Both bedrooms have recently refurbished bathrooms/ wet room.

The property is situated on a secure complex which provides communal pool facilities.

Puerto del Carmen boasts a diverse mix of lively bars and nightlife alongside a romantic harbour which provides a more tranquil and calm atmosphere. There is literally something for everyone a stones through away. There is also a newly developed Golf Course a short taxi ride away. Transfer from the airport is 10 minutes by taxi.

About Kelly

Hello as a previous resident of Lanzarote I am extremely knowledgeable of the island and visit this apartment myself usually 3 times a year. The location is ideal with it only being 10 minutes from the airport and 2 minutes from the nearest beach. I have been taking my daughter to the property since she was 3 months old, I feel this private and secure complex is perfect as I always feel safe and relaxed.

The apartment is large and airy and offers 2 bathrooms which as a family we find is a fantastic benefit. The downstairs bedrooms also mean that even in the red hot summer you can escape to the coolness of the bedroom for a siesta or nights sleep in peace.

I bought the property as it allowed me to be close enough to all the action Puerto Del Carmen can offer in regards to bars, clubs and fantastic restaurants while still allowing me to be able to retreat to the quietness of the complex. It is situated perfectly central to the Old and New towns so caters for all moods and groups.

The beach is visible from the private balcony inviting you to relax and chill in the glorious sunshine which Lanzarote is known for all year round.

Everything is convenient from the apartment, with bus stops 2 minutes from the property and the whole of the Puerto Del Carmen's facilities on your door step.

Notes on accommodation: This property is located on a small complex therefore does not offer commercial reception facilities. Taxis, money change will need to be done on the main front. Outside: The Balcony is south facing therefore receives the sunlight all day. The balcony is fully enclosed ensuring the safety of children. Utility Room: Cleaning tools such as sweeping brush, mop etc are available in here. A mid stay clean can be arranged for a charge of 35 euros. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided on arrival. Laundry can be done at your request however there will be an additional charge for this as washing facilities are available in the property. Other: In the centre of the property there is a large gallery landing (see picture) overlooked by the large glass skylight. Children must be watched at all times. Fantastic Holiday

We've recently returned from a fantastic week stay. We were there for the last week of May and back for middle of October and enjoyed every minute. We were made to feel extremely welcome Kelly is so helpful with everything, full of good advice and nothing is too much trouble for her. We had a lovely apartment with fantastic views. The House is in a great position, it's very relaxing and everything is within walking distance

Perfect stay

Short journey from airport. Lovely clean apartment with almost everything you could possibly want ideally situated for both old town and the busy strip. Kelly was very helpful and always replied to e-mails. Only issue we had was wi-fi and once I spoke to the lady at reception she provided me with the access code. Highly recommend.

I holiday in Puerto Del Carmen three times a year usually staying in different accommodations but do you know when something is telling you not to book a property because there’s just something that doesn’t feel right and you should listen to those bad reviews... well I wish I’d listened to myself and booked elsewhere.

Bad points

Apartment was filthy with Cockroaches and Ants sharing every room with us.

We had to clean the property on our arrival the floors where black and there where used razor blades from the previous tenants shaving left in the shower, a firm indication that that hadn’t been cleaned either.

The glass retractable roof was broken (the main ventilation in the apartment) so it was impossible to stay inside the apartment for any period of time due to the sweltering heat even with the ‘fans provided’ the place was unbearable, I asked for it to be repaired only to be told the roof engineer would be there on the day we left to repair it, it gets better the owner then offered to have the roof left open to ‘help with the heat issue’ I declined this offer as we where already sharing the apartment with a number of different species of unwanted bugs without leaving a bigger access for them to enter.

Only one set of keys means leaving and entering the complex together as they are needed for every entry/exit.

The view from the apartment balcony was a concrete building.

If you want a relaxing stress free holiday DONT STAY HERE!!!!

Owner's Response: The only accurate point of this was the technical issue with the roof of which had been caused by the misuse by the tenant. We have no bugs in the property as it is regularly fumigated. This post is merely a poor response to the lack of refund of the deposit due to the appalling conditions the property was left in. I have never known the property to be left in such an appaling state, particularly as this was a family booking. I always pride myself on providing a beautiful property in a fantastic location and the fact we have repeat bookings is testimony to this. The malicious lies of the above review are hurtful and a clear attempt to damage the reputation of the cleaner and myself.

A very central, spacious, bright, duplex apartment, with a lovely view of the sea from the balcony.

We were there for one week, from 26/11/16 - 03/12/16, the apartment was ideally situated only minutes walk from the main strip and the shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. The old town was around 8 - 10 minutes walk, so it was perfectly located for all our needs. Two of our party were elderly ladies and there were are a lot of steps in and around the apartment, but this was not a problem for us, as Kelly the owner had made that perfectly clear to us before we booked, it would be a problem for less able people with possible mobility restrictions. We enjoyed the apartment which had everything we required and was well maintained with plenty of space. There were plenty of lively bars and very good restaurants, Don Rafaels and The Stars Cafe are only a short walk from the apartment , 5 minutes, and La cascada in the old town is also only around 10 minutes walk. I would certainly recommend this apartment to friends or relatives.

Beautiful apartment

This was a very clean and spacious apartment which had a well equipped kitchen. We especially liked the motorised glass roof which could easily be opened during hot weather.

The bedrooms were very large and being downstairs were very cool,just right for an afternoon siesta.

The apartment is close to the main strip but not too close that it was noisy and it had a fantastic view of the beach and the sea.

Lots of books and magazines for us to use during our stay as well as a vast supply of sun creams, beach toys and cleaning products.

Very useful information pack left including instructions for the washing machine, useful telephone numbers and some local restaurants to try if the island is new to the guests although having lived on the island for 3 1/2 years this was not necessary for us but a nice touch.

The complex was very clean and peaceful but as it is built on a hill there are lots of steps to go up and down when going anywhere which may be a problem for access for some.

We would recommend this apartment to others and would not hesitate to return again ourselves.

The duplex is located in viewing distance of the Avenida Grande beach. It can be reached on foot in 2 minutes.


Arrecife airport is 10 minutes taxi ride from the property. If renting a car the property is very easy to locate and simple directions can be provided. Car rental is available from the airport for pick up and drop off.


You are situated in the very heart of Puerto del Carmen accessing all facilities is easy. A range of restaurants are available within two minutes walk. The beautiful old town is only a 5-10 minute stroll providing a range of restaurants which serve fantastic meat and fish dishes.

For our lively guests seeking nightlife Centro Atlantico the heart of Puerto Del Carmens nightlife is again only a 5-10 minute stroll or a 3 euro taxi away.
