Lovely location, nice rental. Unfortunately, because the heating system was on a timer. This meant that on our arrival, the heating didn't kick in until 4pm,took at least another hour for the place to warm up. Came back from a trip out for the day, again had to wait for the timered heat to kick in. Contacted the owner to say that this wasn't working for us in terms of when the heating came on. Only to be told " we're out on a walk at the moment, followed by instructions on how to make sure that the heating would come on. This was the only offer of help that we received. There was no follow up call or knock on the door to see if we were OK. Went home a day early as 3 of our party felt ill due to being cold. The attitude from the owners was disinterested to say the least.
Cannot fault our stay at all. We hadn't realised that we needed to bring our own towels and the owners were very accommodating and lent us some of their own. The very attentive cats on the farm were an added bonus! 5 stars all round!
