Villa Micheletto is an impressive country house set in the Cilento National Park. It was originally a family home which has been sympathetically converted into apartments maintaining the character of the original building. Each apartment is individual and has its own character with private terrace from where you can enjoy the views of the sea views and the surrounding countryside and enjoy outside eating. The traditional pretty hilltop village of Perdifumo is only 4km where you can find cafes, grocery shops and a few restaurants. Meals are also available at the 'Agriturismo Eucalipto' only 500 metres up the road where you can also use the swimming pool. We own a motor boat which we can take out 4 guests at a time free of charge (in May, June and Sept). Enquire for cost in July and August. The small pretty coastal town of Santa Maria di Castellabate is only 9km with plenty of restaurants on the seafront and pedestrianised centre with shops and boutiques. The medieval hilltop village of Castellabate is close by with fabulous restaurants and a panoramic view of the coastline. San Marco di Castellabate is 11km and has a marina where you can enjoy delicious icecream and snacks at the 2 cafes. L'Approdo Thalasso Spa is also located at San Marco where you can buy a 3 hour pass to enjoy the various pools and steam rooms also a full range of beauty treatments and massages. The magnificent Greek temples at Paestum are 25km. Pompeii and Herculaneum are accessible via train from Agropoli and takes approx 90 mins or car. Mount Vesuvius can also be accessed by car and train from Pompeii and Naples. The historic site at Velia is heading south as is the town of Acciaroli is well worth a visit. There are festivals throughout the year in the different villages and towns. There are 4 apartments for rental in the same property so if you wish to have prices for those please enquire. Therefore the whole property (4 apartments) could sleep a total of 18 people subject to availability.
Roberto and I were both born in Perdifumo and therefore have a love of this area. We live close by in our own home. We converted the property in 2005 and after hard work and dedication we are delighted with it and hope that you will be too.
Roberto and Rosa Avella purchased this apartment in 2005
Villa Micheletto was once the family home dating back to 1850 and therefore we have a great sentimental attachment to it. We wanted our family to be proud of the restoration work we carried out to provide 4 very comfortable and welcoming apartments that guests from all over the world could enjoy. We love the fact it is in the Cilento National Park which is a protected area and that it is so close to the sea. The surrounding area has so much to offer with history, mountains, beaches and villages - what more could you ask for.
Villa Micheletto offers a sense of a time gone by set in beautiful countryside in the Cilento National Park. It has been converted to apartments to maintain the character and essence of the property. It is set in 5 hectares of our own land over which guests are welcome to walk and enjoy the countryside. It is also in the Cilento National Park which means it is protected and that's the way it will always stay we are glad to say. Each apartment has its own garden or terrace providing a private space for guests to enjoy being outside either eating or just enjoying the view whilst drinking a glass of the local wine. It is close to a choice of sandy beaches, the closest being at Case del Conte only 5km away. All amenities are close by to offer a relaxing and comfortable holiday. There are 2 further apartments within the property (could sleep 18 in 4 apartments) so it could be appealing to large families or friends who wish to stay together but not on top of each other (subject to availability).
Isabella
