Detached villa / house, close to Salgado beach (appr 1.5km) and 5 mins drive from the picturesque town of San Martinho. Private pool, barbeque area, garden with external dining table / chairs, garage equipped with pool table, table football / tennis, and 2 mountain bikes wet suits/surf boards. First floor - One double bedroom with kingsize bed and large balcony overlooking the pool, two twin bedrooms (one with balcony one with en suite), and further family bathroom. Downstairs, large main living / dining area with dining table / chairs, leather settees, widescreen TV with freesat channels , DVD , music system with ipod dock etc. 2nd living room with double sofa bed, 2 single sofa beds and further en-suite bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen with further dining space. Quiet location within close proximity of stunning sandy beaches, the seaside town of San Martinho and the historic towns of Obidos and Acocoba, and 3 golf courses.

About the Owner

After many trips to the beautiful Silver Coast looking for a second home, we immediately fell in love with this wonderful property in the beautiful setting of San Martinho. We have furnished it with love but also realistically and hope our guests will enjoy it and return year upon year.

We are friendly and approachable and always open to suggestion on how to improve our facilities/accommodation. If there are any specific requirements that have not been mentioned please feel free to ask and we will do our best to assist.

We hope our guests will be happy, comfortable and feel totally at home here. All we ask is you cherish and respect our home as much as we do.

From the Owner

Beautiful golden sands and Atlantic coastline (reminds us of Devon / Cornwall) - quiet and unspoilt. The house is in a very quiet area, green countryside views and within walking distance of the local beach at Salgado. The local seaside resort of San Martinho is a short bike ride or drive away with a good selection of alfresco restaurants, bars, cafes etc. There are 3 golf courses, supermarkets, and many historic sights within a short drive. Easy transfers from Lisbon (1 hr) which is well served by Easyjet, TAP Airlines, BA and scheduled flights Ryan Air fly into Porto - approx 2 hrs transfer. We first came to the Silver Coast 6 years ago, and fell in love with the area. We are here to stay.

Surfing, jet ski and sailing at local beaches and paraponting at near by clifftops.


Beaches - Salgado - 1.5 km, Sao Martinho - 4km, Foz - 16km, Nazare - 7km. Baleal (best surfing) - 20mins


Approx 1 hour from Lisbon - 5 mins from A8 motorway, 2 1/4 hours from Porto. Transfers available from Lisbon Airport at reasonable costs. There are trains into Sao Martinho. Car Hire recommended.

    Changeover Day:
    Weekend changeover during high season (ie Friday/Saturday). Low season by arrangement

    Notes on prices:
    Prices are in UK pounds per week. Rates based on 6 persons.
    Pool - closed November - Mar, small charge for pool heating if required. Additional linen change / cleaning service available on request at small charge.

Relax outside - on a sunbed by the pool, read on the balcony. Relax in- TV/DVD for you in the evenings, and separate lounge for the kids with TV / playstation / DVD Beautiful Beaches - short walk to Salgaldo beach, and short drive to many more stunning golden beaches or the Dunes at Salir Do Porto. Activities - Pool table, table football / tennis, Playstation, DVD's, 2 mountain bikes, surfing, kiting Walks (or run!) - stunning coastline and local countryside. Local Culture / Sightseeing - Historic Obidos, Alcobaca, Santarem, Nazare, Peniche, Caldas da Raina Eat In - beautiful covered BBQ area, and comfortable outside dining facilities.
