Apartment in Riviera del Sol, Mijas Costa, Costa del Sol, Spain - Peaceful And Private, 5 Minutes Walk To Shops, Restaurants And The Beach

Our apartment is on the ground floor but is elevated from the main large garden and pool area. It has a SW facing patio with a small private garden of its own, giving you privacy but quick access and full view of the pool, ideal for keeping an eye on children. The pool has been modified for safety, inc a fence around the perimeter. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has air-con and sat TV. Within 5 minutes walk of the resort are all the necessary amenities such as transport links and taxi's, banks, supermarkets, hairdressers, restaurants, bars and of course the beautiful Mediterranean beaches with their charming Spanish beach bars, or Chiringuitos. Adjacent to the resort is the Aztec Country Club, Facilities includes 7 tennis courts, minigolf, competition size heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, restaurants providing regular evening entertainment and a pool side bar showing major sporting events. Wonderful place

I want to thank Olivia for a chance to spend 8 beautiful weeks in her apartment.

The place is just perfect for leisurely family rest. It is close enough to restaurants, cafes and food shops and has all kitchenware, equipment and dishes to make food by yourself. It is not minimum set you can find in some apartments for a rent it is place where you can live for a pretty long time and do not have any lack of anything. The apartment has the best location in the building, it is next to a pool and a garden. In the same time you feel private being isolated by flowers and bushes. It is quiet inside and outside, you won't hear morning noise of cars because the rooms are two floors lower than a road.

You, probably, know the area is pretty hilly, but I want to say you do not need to be afraid by this fact if you do not have realy big problem with your health. We are not very sporty family but we had it well enough even without a car. And baby stroller was not such a big trouble to use.

What I can add... I simply in love with the place and the area and I hope we will come again. Thank you!

superb terrace

We really enjoyed our stay in Olivia's apartment,sun on the terrace from morning till sunset.It was very cosy at night when the temperature drops.We didnt have a car and found lots of places of interest.

Special interest holidays:

The Aztec country Club adjacent the community offers many facilities including full equipped gym, tennis courts, mini golf and heated outdoor pool. During the school summer holiday they offer a kids club that combine many of these activities and give them lunch. There's a water park at Fuengirola, plus parasailing, dolphin trips, scuba diving and power boats (the same at Cabopino). Try horse riding at La cala too.

Travel:

Malaga airport is approx 25 mins drive. Car hire is easy from the airport (we will provide directions) or use our agent's airport pick up/drop-off service (he can arrange a car delivered to your apartment for the days you want). Car hire is recommended because there are so many interesting places to visit - plus many child friendly attractions and water sports for all the family. However it's fine to walk and bus around the area and we have details for clients who want to do this.

Distances:

There are some great local character towns like Mijas Pueblo (25 mins drive) and spectacular Ronda (75 mins) with Marbella's old Town or stylish shops (20 mins) and Puerto Banus marina 30 mins. Fuengirola is only 10/15 mins and offers a range of activities and Malaga (30 mins) is wonderful. A day trip to Gibraltar is very easy and others visit Cordoba or Granada. The discerning traveller can soak up Spanish character, culture, history and food.
