Private villa with pool and , barbecue all situated in it's own secure mature gardens in a quiet area within walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. air-conditioning is fitted in all rooms and Wi-Fi is available at the villa also . There is a supermarket within walking distance and a golf course 10 minutes drive from the villa the nearest restaurant is 5 minutes walk from the villa on the main road.

Dear Sunseekers. My wife and I have owned villa Val for 8 years and enjoy frequent holidays with friends and family and our grand children. We feel very privileged to own such a lovely house in the sun and are pleased to share our villa with you.

Also on the same street three doors down we have our other villa Las Sirenas this is the same layout as villa Val and sleeps 6 so a party of 14 people could enjoy the sun at calle olimpo Spain.

Excellent Villa

Excellent Villa for a family holiday, great location close to supermarkets, restaurants and beach. Villa is well equipped and the swimming pool is brilliant. The air-conditioning in all bedrooms was brilliant especially because temps. hit 40C during our stay. Ten euro taxi ride from airport at St Javier, but book in advance or you could wait an hour in the queue. Great outdoor market at the bottom of Calle Olimpo on Saturday is a bonus, you can stock up with fresh fruit and all sorts of other goodies for your stay. Great tapas bars on the beach 10 mins walk from the villa are a must visit

Fantastic Villa!

Great villa, great location. We couldn't have asked for better. 10 minutes in a cab from the airport. 15 minute walk to the nearest supermarket/beach/bars and restaurants. Villa had everthing you needed for a great holiday, lots of space. Would definately recommend to family and friend and hope to go back one day. Thank you Brian and Val we loved it!!

Beautiful villa in a great location, we found it to be better than we hoped for, being so close to the beach, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, everything was within walking distance.

We also found the villa to be well maintained and clean and equipped with everything you need for a great holiday .

Would certainly recommend this villa to our friends and family and especially for anybody who is into kitesurfing, as the Mar Menor offers brilliant kiteing for beginners and more experienced alike.

A very well located villa, in a very friendly and beautiful area. As a family of 7 across three generations, Villa Val accommodated us all comfortably. We would definitely re-visit the area and the property for future holidays.

Location

From the Owner

We were introduced to the Mar Menor area of Spain some twelve years ago. We fell in love with the place because of it's lovely climate and beaches we like the safe water for the children the vibrant Spanish town community that are very friendly towards us. The road where we are is very private but also close to the beach, shops and restaurants and is also very flat for walking with tranquil surroundings. It is also convenient, that is, 10 mins from San Javier airport.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

10 mins cycle to nearest beach, walking 15 mins all flat ground.

Travel:

10 mins drive from is San Javier airport and car hire at airport.

Distances:

10 mins walk to Los Alcazares village, 20 mins drive to the ancient roman capital city of Cartaena, 20 mins walk to local nature reserve on the mar menor with sailing facilities for hire. Regular ferries from the beach harbour to La Manga and surrounding islands. The villa is 90 kilometres south of Alicante.

Further Details:

In the local shopping mall of Los Alcazaries 15 minutes walk away there are extensive supermarkets, restaurants, banks, chemists and newsagents.

We are pleased to have secure properties with private pools and mature gardens. House facilities included Sky TV, DVD, radio and outside barbecue area. You can spend long summer days reading around the pool and enjoying a private afternoon swim. It is also pleasant to walk to the close beach where you will find several tapas bars for light meals and swim in the safe Mar Menor lagoon.
