Stunning modern, large open plan family apartment (sleeps up to family of 4), set in a private luxury security gated complex with pool, suitable for couples or families. NB. Sofa beds not suitable for adults. Fully air-conditioned/heated 1 bed ground floor apt. with patio and garden and a third larger interior living space. Free Wifi. For 2015-16 relax on the new outdoor sofas. A fantastic holiday base all year round and situated in an traditional village with traditional bars, restaurants and supermarkets. For sun worshippers, the award winning Pyla Beach is 3.3km away, with its gently sloping, sandy child-safe shore. From there, the Dhekelia Road runs through to Larnaca with an extensive range of bars, restaurants, shops and watersports. Larnaca itself has a beautiful marina, promenade lined with palm trees and a stunning beach. The island has numerous archaeological sites. The new Larnaca airport is 15/20 mins drive from complex. Skiing available in winter months in Troodos Mountains. Car hire highly recommended to take full advantage of all Cyprus has to offer.

About Trish Grimshaw

Simon and I live in a small village near Rugby and have two children aged 24 and 29. We go out to Cyprus several times a year to enjoy the fantastic weather, recharge our batteries and to check that our apartment is perfect for our guests. We are fascinated by the history and culture of Cyprus and have enjoyed exploring the Island from Kyrenia, Salamis, Nicosia in the North to Paphos, Limasol, Larnaca, Agia Napa and the snow covered mountains of the Troodos in the South. The amazing sunsets across the pool and Pyla village, creates what has become our favourite time of day.

Our spacious modern apartment is ideally located within a peaceful, secure modern complex. Pyla Palms is only a relaxing 5 minute walk from the unique village of Pyla, a 3 minute drive from the beach, with motorway access to the whole of the island, both South and North. Larnaca (just 7 km away) is a cosmopolitan city with wonderful restaurants, chic shops and a vibrant night life. Pyla village, with its mix of Greek and Turkish cultures offers a place to try the local cuisine and relax, soaking up the evening sun. As Larnaca airport is only 15 mins drive, you can be relaxing by the pool within the hour! A wonderful benefit that we have grown to appreciate over the years is experiencing high season weather in the so called 'low season'. Motorway links to all parts of the island are within 3kms. There is a border crossing to Northern Cyprus on the northern side of the village.

What makes this apartment unique

Our spacious apartment is a third larger than other one bedroom apartments, providing ideal family accommodation for up to four (2 parents plus 2 children) and enough space to entertain your friends and family. Our apartment is on the ground floor, with a garden and large patio that is not overlooked. Our apartment has free WiFi access for those that need to keep in touch with the outside world! 'Eating in or out' takes on a whole new experience as you relax and enjoy the evening sun, relaxing on the new outdoor sofas, while sampling the wonderfully diverse local food and wines in a tranquil atmosphere. Alternatively, there is a pizza takeaway on the corner by the resort.

The village of Pyla has an ATM machine a Pharmacy, independent supermarkets, takeaways, bars and a fantastic bakery - fresh bread and cakes everyday!

Notes on accommodation: Remote controlled air-con/heating in all rooms, plus 2 oil filled radiators to give constant heat in winter months. Hot water bottles. A supply of books, guide books, maps, DVD's, CD's, I-pod docking station and charger/radio. Free wi-fi (no need to go offsite to keep in touch with home). Plastic cups and plates for pool/beach, cool bag/ice packs, beach umbrellas/mats/ bats/balls/lilos . Highchair, Z bed and travel cot for children with waterproof covers if needed (some cot linen, but guests would need to supplement). Property Management Company on site most days for full peace of mind. Please be aware that the apartment is non-smoking and pets are not allowed. Everything you need to make your stay relaxing and stress free. Outside: In addition to the apartment patio and garden, there are pleasant, spacious, landscaped gardens around the complex and at the pool side. The communal pool (shallow and deep ends) has sun loungers, fixed sun canopies, parasols, showers, toilets, a bridge and benches. There are numerous covered and uncovered parking spaces within this electronically gated complex. The apartment has a frame for using with disposable barbecues in the garden or on the beach. The PizzaKebab Takeaway on corner of quiet service road to the complex is open until 23:00 everyday for your emergency supplies. Several bars, cafes and taverns in village. Bakery, pharmacy and ATM machine also in the village. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, bed linen, winter duvets and blankets and throws are included. Beach/pool towels not included. The apartment is fully cleaned prior to your stay. Mid term clean is available at a small extra cost. Other: Frame for disposable barbecue. Not overlooked and view of Pyla village across field

We enjoyed our stay in your home at Pyla. The location was excellent for travelling to the northern side of Cyprus and also for visiting tthe differing areas of Ayia Napa and Paphos. Your apartment was a 'home away from home' with everything required for day to day living. You had obviously put a great deal of thought into what is actually required in a home to ensure comfort and making it very welcoming. Thank you for letting us rent your home and the help and information you supplied to help facilitate our Cyprus experience!

Excellent Spacious Apartment

We arrived in the dark with no problems as the owners had provided very accurate instructions. The apartment is very large for a 1 bedroomed accommodation and in excellent condition. Everything we needed was to hand, there is a large patio are with views towards the village, a very helpful information pack in the lounge and it's only a few meters walk to the lovely communal pool. A car is essential as there only a very limited numbers of cafes/bars/shops close to hand, but there are numerous really good places only a 5 minute car drive away and a lovely sandy beach ideal for children as well. Overall we were very impressed with the accommodation, the helpfulness of Trish & Simon, the owners, and would have no absolutely hesitation in returning again and recommended this apartment to others. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Thoroughly recommend to anyone thinking of renting this apartment. It is of first class specification with a spacious lounge and dining area. All the furnishings are of top quality and the kitchen has all the equipment you could possibly need. The location is quiet and a few minutes drive to the beach and restaurants. Trisha & Simon provide all the confidence and information you need when booking an apartment abroad. We wil book again for next year.

First of all I would like to thank you for kind help and wonderful apartment for our excellent holidays.

Everything what we need we found and the place was nice and peaceful.

Actually the weather was great as well and we stay beside our own swimming pool Just nobody else would like to enjoy the sun.

Home from Home!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for Trisha and Simon for letting us stay at their apartment. We loved it and felt like we were at home a lot of the time!

It has everything you need, english tv channels, books, DVDs, heaters, microwave, oven, washing machine, cooking facilities, even throws and hot water bottles which I used on the chilly eves. They really have thought of everything to make it feel like home!

It's situated about 5 mins car journey from the beach, in a quiet area which was perfect for us. It felt really safe and secure too as was in a secure gated complex. The pool area looked good and sure would be lovely when the weather gets a bit warmer.

Trisha was really helpful with any questions I had and even recommended a great car hire company.

I would definately recommend to everyone, better than a hotel anyday and I would love to get the chance to stay here again in the future.

Absolutely fabulous

We stayed here for 11 nights in October and had the most fabulous holiday. Every little detail has been thought of and the apartment was like a home from home. Trisha and Simon have gone to great lengths to make you feel comfortable, and make your stay enjoyable. They have also provided information and leaflets about what to do on the island and details of places to eat.

We have a two yr old and cots, highchairs, and bedding were all provided making our whole holiday much easier.

We wouldn't hessitate to book again in the future. Trisha and Simon respond quickly and friendly to emails.

A huge thank you to both for such a wonderful stay!

It is 3 mins drive to the award winning blue flag, golden sand Pyla beach which is very safe for children, with shallow waters, lifeguards, volleyball nets, play areas, bars and restaurants. Beautiful, secluded sandy coves for those wanting to get away from it all are accessible, by car around the coast. Watersports are available on the beautiful beaches towards Agia Napa. Recommended Diving Company is Alpha Divers.


The new Larnaca International airport is 15 mins drive away. Car hire is highly recommended and is normally cheaper if booked via the internet before you arrive. Recommended car hire company: Stevens.


The centre of Pyla village is a 5 mins walk away and typifies the peaceful co-existence of Greek and Turkish Cypriots. The roads into the village and the village square have both Greek and Turkish bars, restaurants, take-aways, supermarkets, barbers and places of worship. There is also a Catholic church. The vibrant, buzzing city of Larnaca is 10 mins drive away.

There is a border crossing just above Pyla village for those wishing to explore Northern Cyprus (Kyrenia, Famagusta etc.)

Further Details:

The seafronted Dhekelia Road is 3km away and runs parallel with the sea to Larnaca. Banks and ATM's can be found on the Dhekelia Road, along with pharmacies, hairdressers, bookshops, cafes, restaurants, bars, tavernas, quad biking hire, scuba diving companies,

There are several major supermarkets in and around Larnaca, as well as all the top retail stores/outlets.

For night life, Larnaca is 10 minutes away and Agia Napa 20 minutes away, by car.

For guests interested in scuba diving, the ferry Zanobia sank in Larnaca harbour and is one of the world's top ten dives. The island is full of historic sites, such as the Roman city of Kourion and the apartment is perfectly situated for access to all areas of South and North Cyprus.

Cyprus has a thriving programme of cultural events all year round.

The resort has a key holding service and a 24hr local representative to contact to deal with any problem for holidaying guests (for your peace of mind) and maintenance reps on site Monday - Friday (7 days high season). Keys are generally posted to UK guests 2 weeks before holiday date with a return stamped addressed envelope. Non-UK guests use the key in the key safe. Access code for gates, key safe/apt. safe and Wi-fi, directions and pre-visit information for the apartment are sent to guests at the same time.
