Penthouse centrally located in La Manga Golf Resort, Costa Calida / Murcia, Spain.

Our penthouse is centrally located, and offers spectacular views of La Manga Club. Panoramic views of the famous South Course and Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor can be viewed from our large front BBQ terrace. We are situated next to the Par 47 Pitch & Putt course and opposite the Tennis and Fitness Center. Our community Los Olivos has 2 large outdoor swimming pools and 1 indoor heated with Jacuzzi open all year round. Residents of our Penthouse have 50% discount off golf green fees, Par 47 & tennis court hire fees from the general public prices. Most leisure facilities and the club's finest restaurants, bars and shops/supermarkets are easy walking distance. We are 5 mins drive from La Manga Club's private beach La Cala and ocean side seasonal restaurant and just minutes walking to the numerous restaurants in the resort. In the local villages there is sailing, fishing and numerous restaurants. Choice of other beaches within a short drive.

We live in Mid-Wales and built Los Olivos as our family holiday home in 1999. We have 2 children, 3 grandsons & one grand daughter. We have spent many, very happy holidays at La Manga Club which we love. We have made many friends there and all the family love the facilities.

Beautifully presented property, ideal location

First time we have been to La Manga Club - the villa was a perfect home from home. Fully furnished cupboards with crockery and new utensils, Microwave and Oven were like new. We made full use of the washing machine. It was lovely and clean. Just 4 minute walk to tennis courts and 2 pools within 1 minute of the villa. Spectacular views - slight incline to walk up each day but it wasn't a problem. Will definitely be booking this villa again!! Thank you Michael and Brenda

Fabulous stay at the Penthouse Apartment.

This was our first visit to La Manga Club and certainly will not be our last. The accommodation really was lovely. It was in one of the best locations, really close to the restaurants and bars etc. The apartment was very spacious, well maintained and we loved the three balconies. Wish we were still there. The owners provided excellent advice re things to see and do prior to our trip. I would not hesitate in recommending this property to others. Fabulous five star Penthouse apartment. Look forward to staying there again in the near future.

Fantastic Penthouse with spectacular views

This fantastic penthouse was perfect for us (family of 2 adults and a 16 year old) It is ideally located, close to restaurants and the supermarket and is 2 minutes walk from the tennis centre. The apartment is faultless. It is tastefully furnished and is very spacious. It is really well equipped and everything is in good working order. We loved the main terrace with its spectacular views and it's a real sun trap. The owners provided us with really clear information in advance about arriving at La Manga, checking into the property and departure. They also gave us ideas of places to visit and provided us with discounts on golf and tennis which we took advantage of. They were very helpful and excellent to deal with. We look forward to booking this property in the near future. Would definitely recommend the resort and especially this property.

La Manga Club has numerous facilities suitable for all the family. It is one of Europe's top leisure resorts. Attractions 3 x 18 award winning golf courses. 28 tennis courts, bowling club, football & cricket pitches. 5 star hotel. Superb Spar and fitness center with Olympic size swimming pool at Los Lomas. Seasonal children's club. Varied choice of walks and bike hire available.

Coast/Beach:

The private beach at the resort (La Cala) is a 5 min drive from our apartment, having one of our favorite restaurants there, open only during Spring/Summer period. There are many other beaches within a 10 min drive from the resort, where fishing, sailing is available.

Travel:

San Javier (Murcia) airport is the nearest approx 20 min drive away. Alicante is just over 1hr away. The new International Airport Corvera opening 2012 is approx 40 mins.

Distances:

Los Belones is the nearest village being 5 mins drive away. Cabo de Palos a lovely fishing village, good restaurants. Where on a Sunday morning there is a well attended open air market selling local fruit, veg, olives, honey, cheeses, and leather goods etc. Cartagena is an historic city, oldest port in Spain approx 20 min drive. The Mediterranee Parque on route to Cartagena is a new shopping mall which includes an enormous Carrefour hypermarket, & other large stores far too numerous to mention.

Further Details:

La Caixa Bank with cash point is within the resort with very friendly bilingual staff. Other banks also available.
