Apartment in Oroklini, Larnaca, Cyprus - Quiet Location, Shared Pool, Walking Distance to Tavernas, Bars and Shops

This spacious apartment is fully air-conditioned with cool tiled floors throughout, a double bedroom with en-suite, a second bedroom with two large comfy single beds, a family bathroom, spacious living room with two huge sofas, elegant marble dining and coffee tables and TV with DVD. A home from home in which to relax after a long day spent on the beach, by the pool, sightseeing, or simply taking it easy! There is a well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, cooker, washing machine, microwave, toaster etc. The second bedroom and the living room both lead onto the balcony, which overlooks the shared swimming pool and also has views to the sea and over fields. The apartment is on the first floor of a small block, with an entry phone, lift and dedicated under-building parking. The air-conditioning will cool or heat as needed.

I just wanted to say that we had a great time in Oroklini. The villa was big and had everything we needed. In addition, the welcome pack had the vast majority of the items we needed for our trip.

Your representative was absolutely brilliant; after he picked us up he gave us a quick tour of the main places of interest in the village. He also came to the rescue as we had trouble booking a cab to take us to our friend's wedding in Larnaca. So he offered to drop us off there. He was an absolute star...

Overall, it was a superb break, great accommodation and we'd certainly come back sometime in the future.

Nearest Airport : Larnaca at 25 Kilometres Nearest Beach : at 3 Kilometres Car: necessary

Coast/Beach:

The local blue flag Cyprus Tourist Office (CTO) and Yanathes beaches are only a few minutes’ drive away, with water sports and plenty of restaurants and bars. Diving is also available, including amazing dives on the famous wreck “Zenobia”. There are also beautiful beaches in Ayia Napa, which can get quite busy in summer.

Travel:

Oroklini is about 15 minutes drive from Larnaca Airport, and about 2 hours drive from Paphos. Collection from Larnaca Airport can be arranged or you can get a taxi at the airport. We would recommend hiring a car, as this is the best way of seeing more of the island. There is a bus service from Oroklini to Larnaca with buses every hour.

Distances:

The village is a short stroll from the apartment, Larnaca is some 10 minutes drive away, Ayia Napa is about 20 minutes drive and Nicosia (also called Lefkosia) is about half an hour.

Further Details:

Oroklini still retains a traditional friendly Cypriot atmosphere, making it especially suitable for couples and families. The village is a short stroll from the apartment, with tavernas and bars selling Greek and international food, some with live music and entertainment. There are also various shops including banks, takeaways, chemist, supermarkets (one which is open 24hrs), a 24-hr bakery and DVD rental. Larnaca is some 10 minutes drive away, with its palm lined Foinikoudes promenade with plenty of shops, cafes and bars. Ayia Napa is about 20 minutes, where you can find a large variety of restaurants and nightlife. Just outside Ayia Napa there is "WaterWorld”, the largest themed water park in Europe, with 18 exciting rides and attractions. The capital of Cyprus, Nicosia (also called Lefkosia), is about half an hour away and well worth a visit; it is now the only divided capital city in the world. Diving is popular, including amazing dives on the wreck “Zenobia”. Cyprus is two hours ahead of the UK. Driving is on the left hand side of the road. Speed signs are in kilometers per hour. Plug sockets are 3 pin square and 230v/50Hz (as in the UK).

Changeover is flexible - we will fit in around flights wherever possible.
At peak times or if we have back to back bookings, we ask you to vacate the apartment by 11.00am and arrival after 5.00pm.

This is our own personal apartment and we request that all guests treat it with respect. It is completely self-catering.

Booking notes:
40% deposit to be paid with booking.
Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to date of holiday.
If booking less than 8 weeks to holiday, total amount is payable at time of booking.
All payments are non-refundable so please ensure your insurance policy covers this.
Payment is accepted in Sterling or Euros.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is fully air-conditioned, with cool tiled floors throughout. Outside: The balcony has a cocktail table with chairs overlooking the shared pool. The pool area is secluded with plenty of space for relaxing or playing and sun loungers are provided. There is also a poolside toilet. Cleaning / Towels / Linen : Bathroom towels and bed linen are supplied and can be changed by local arrangement at an additional cost. Beach towels are not provided. There is a washing machine, an iron and ironing board, and a clothes drying frame. Other: There is a telephone entry system and the marble-clad lift from the parking area.
