3 bedroom villa with garden. Quiet location. 5 min walk from shops, restaurants & sea

3 bedroom villa - two doubles (one on ground floor) and one twin room. Sofa bed also available. 2 bathrooms - one with bath, separate shower, WC and basin (on ground floor), one with shower, WC and basin.

The villa has a large garden with numerous fruit trees, vines, a barbecue, and parking for 2 small cars. Enjoy breakfast at the large table plus chairs on the front terrace, or an evening drink at the small table and chairs on the upstairs balcony, while enjoying the fabulous views of the Peljesac channel and Korcula.

The villa is ideally situated in a quiet location with excellent access to supermarkets, restaurants, butchers, fish market, numerous fruit and veg stalls, bakery, wineries, cafes, banks. The sea with pebble beach is within 5 min walk, the sandy beach and the harbour within 10-15 min walk. The passenger and car ferries to the island of Korcula crossing are 15 mins away.

The walk to the harbour is especially attractive along the sea front, past the large houses of sea captains and rich merchants, with lovely Mediterranean gardens. In the season there are a series of different stalls selling most beach requisites.

We are both retired and bought the house for the family to enjoy. We have 4 grandchildren who love the house, Orebic and the superb swimming and snorkelling available within a 5 min walk.

Both halves of the family make good use of the BBQ, and enjoy getting fish from the market within 10 min walk.

There are many excellent restaurants/cafes/pizzerias/snack bars within walking distance, as well as supermarkets and market stalls on the main road.

We all love taking the passenger ferry to Korcula, and exploring the fascinating small streets, and a meal on the wall overlooking Orebic is a must.

Notes on accommodation: Combined heating/air-conditioning units on each floor. Outside: Large garden with orange, lemon, mandarin, pomegranate, fig, kumquat, olive and carob trees , as well as a vine. Outdoor tables and chairs provided for front balcony, and ground floor terrace. Barbecue in front garden and parking for 2 small cars. Utility Room: Storeroom at back of villa containing barbecue equipment, and beach accessories, masks, fins, buckets and spades etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided and will be changed weekly for long stay guests. Cleaning is before and after every visit, but additional cleaning can be arranged for an additional charge.

Good Location and as Described

We stayed here as a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys for 12 days. The owners were helpful with our booking arrangements and quick to respond to queries. The semi-detached house is as pictured in the photos. On arrival we found some useful provisions which were very welcome. Whilst the driveway is large the entrance into and exit from it is a little tricky (as mentioned by a previous reviewer) but with someone watching the car / directing from the outside it is no big deal and should not put anyone off. Enjoyed the figs in the garden – it was tempting to eat them all! Orebic is laid back and has plenty of swimming and beach areas with some good restaurants too – we enjoyed Jadran and Babilon especially. Good local supermarket (Studenac), nice local coffee bar (Hattrick – next to Studenac) and very good local baker (Babic) a short walk away (best burek, pastries and bread). Nearest swimming and restaurants are only 10 mins leisurely walk away at most which was great and what we wanted. All in all, the house is as described and photographed and was well equipped and fine for our purposes.

Great place with a nice garden.

We were very happy with the house and the garden. It was clean and well maintained. The property was as described. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood in a small street. The disadvantage was our big car NIssan Pathfinder, which we could not drive through the gate due to the small street. But we parked some 50 meters further away, so it was not a problem. The only small issue we faced was an internet connection problem that the provider T-mobile could not fix during the whole stay. The house itself was great - we had a breakfast each day in the garden patio shaded by trees. Wonderful! The beach is close and all shops are 5 min walking distance. Perfect stay for families with kids such as we are.

Excellent property in a great location.

We had a great holiday here. The house was spacious, air conditioned,clean and well equipped for a family of 5. The store room was really useful with lots of gear we couldn't bring by plane and the views from the balcony was lovely . The house was close to supermarkets, bakers and only a short walk from the beaches. Orebic itself was really nice - a good place to stay with a family, lovely clear waters, lots of cheap places to eat out and plenty of things to do and see. Would highly recommend it as a place to stay.

Special interest holidays:

World windsurfing championships have been held at Viganj, about 5km west of Orebic, and the Croatian national championships are held there every year. Most water sports/sailing are available in Orebic/Viganj and tennis at Hotel Bellevue. Peljesac peninsula is the home of the most famous Croatian wines, Dingac and Postup, and visits to wineries can be arranged. Korcula produces the best white wine in the country, Posip.


The crystal clear waters of the Adriatic on a pebbly beach, are within 5 mins walk. Snorkeling is really good and the sandy beach is 15 mins walk.


Orebic is 2 hours drive from Dubrovnik airport and 4 hours from Split. Car hire is available from both airports. Because the villa is so well situated in Orebic, a car is not essential. Arrangements can be made to collect you from and deliver you to the airport, but this is not included in the prices quoted. Local short term car hire is available in Orebic.


Loviste on the end of the peninsula is some 20 mins drive with some spectacular views on the way, both of Orebic and Viganj, and the mainland mountains as you cross the peninsula to the other side. The road takes you past the XVIth century Franciscan monastery, which is well worth a visit. It also offers a fantastic view of Orebic, the islands in the Peljesac channel, and Korcula.

Further Details:

The villa is situated some 300 metres above the main road, beneath the 3000+ft Mt. St Elijah. All supermarkets, bakery, fruit and veg market stalls, chemist, fish market, banks, post office, and tourist offices are within a 15min walk. There are also numerous cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
