About the Owner

We are a married couple and chose to purchase property in Lagos as we love the town and find the location a perfect base for exploring the Western Algarve and further afield. We find the location ideal for ourselves to have a quiet relaxing break and for our young adult children who enjoy the evenings in the town and the excellent surfing beach of Meia Praia. The area is easily reached from Faro airport and all the attractions such as Zoomarine and Lagos Zoo are just a short car journey or bus ride away. The town is not as busy or commercial as others on the Algarve and will appeal to those who want to be close to everything without the need for a car. We have very young grandchildren and so it was important to buy on a development that could cater for all ages safely and securely.

We had a great time at this apartment, we thought the Lagos location was just as described (great), we used a lot of the features including the Gym, both pools, and the most excellent coffee shop Fresco’s, the apartment furniture was of a high standard with everything you needed on hand, the same must be said for the bathroom and kitchen, we were also pleasantly surprised by how big and spacious it waw. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony drinking a nicely chilled local Sagres beer prior to a leisurely stroll to the many interesting restaurants and bars, you can tell we want to be there now LOL. We would most definitely recommend this place, we are already planning a return later this year, from the onset the owners were fantastic to deal with from my first tentative email enquiries which were replied to in a quick and positive manner.

Appartement tout confort !

Très bon accueil à l'arrivée. L'appartement est très confortable, bien équipé et propre, tout fonctionne parfaitement. Nous étions avec notre bébé et l'appartement convient bien à un enfant en bas âge (baignoire, lit et chaise bébé, jeux de plage). C'était super de prendre les déjeuners en terrasse au soleil (petit bémol pour la vue sur un immeuble en construction). On a apprécié la proximité de la marina, du centre et de la plage. Les balades en bord de mer sont vraiment agréables au mois de novembre. Le café en bas est un plus !

The apartment is very comfortable, well equipped and clean, everything works perfectly. We were with our baby and the apartment is well suited for a toddler (bath, cot and high chair, beach games). It was great to have breakfast on the terrace in the sun (small flat for the view on a building under construction). We appreciated the proximity to the marina, the center and the beach. The walks by the sea are really nice in November. The coffee downstairs is a plus!

Beautiful quality apartment

Spacious apartment, good quality fixtures and fittings - enough to feel homely. Position was excellent - a short walk into Lagos and just a little further to the beach, pretty flat all the way. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful apartment excellent location

Had a fabulous holiday staying in this beautiful, well furnished apartment in Lagos. The apartment was spacious and very well kept. The location was ideal - about ten minutes walk to the Marina and the Centre of Lagos. Will definitely be returning next year.

Beautiful apartment is great location.

We stayed in this apartment for a week as four adults, ourselves, and another couple who are good friends. It is a lovely place to stay and is beautifully furnished and is in first class condition. It has a very large balcony with a great table and chairs for any meals you may have whilst there.

Both bedrooms are of good size, and the second bedroom has the benefit of 2 single beds that can be easily zipped together to make a very comfy king size.

There is a communal pool with plenty of loungers, and an inside one, although it was lovely whilst we were there so this wasn't used. We used to go to one of the beautiful beaches during the morning and use the pool in the afternoons, which worked out great for us.

Plenty of good restaurants near by for the evening meal too.

Sylvester the apartment manager will look after all your needs whilst there, and explains in full all the workings within the kitchen etc. Most helpful.

Stay if you can , you won't be sorry.

Beautiful, peaceful and we'll situated for the tow

Overall, a beautiful apartment, well furnished and located within easy walking distance of the marina and the town centre, but quiet enough to be away from the heart of the nightlife.

Simple to book, simple to arrange and overall an easy experience with Steve, Denise and Sylvester (who was on hand whenever we needed).

We will definitely be recommending this apartment to our friends.

Love Lagos!

Our 3rd visit to Lagos and our favourite apartment so far. Beautifully furnished, a good size and very comfortable. Great location for the marina, supermarket and the lovely café (Fresco) on the doorstep! Indoor pool and Jacuzzi are a bonus through the Autumn months when the weather can be unsettled. Shame the sauna was out of order.

Top class service from Steve throughout the enquiry and booking process, all questions answered and very promptly. Didn't meet the management team but had confidence that, should we have needed them, they'd have been on hand. Mid-week towel change was appreciated.

Would definitely recommend this property and Lagos for a relaxing family break. Plenty to do in the local area including mini golf, land train, water parks, zoo or just explore the old town and the fabulous beach. We've never felt the need to hire a car as most things are either within walking distance or can easily be reached by bus or taxi.

We love Lagos and will most definitely be visiting again.

We have very young grandchildren and find the apartments perfect as they are so easily accessible with the pushchair and the balcony is safe and the complex secure. The small quiet cove at the end of the Avenida is perfect for families and only a 10 min walk. The town is vibrant and colourful without being hectic and rowdy and the atmosphere at any time of day is peaceful and fun.

There are two main beaches in Lagos; the small cove of Praia da Batata is around a 10 min walk along the beautiful avenida. The long sandy stretch of beach that is Meia Preia is around a 15 min walk across the bridge and past the marina and is renowned for its surfing waves. Ample car parking for those who would prefer to drive. There are lovely beach bars selling cocktails and snacks that will complete your beach day. There are many tiny coves and beautiful beaches around the western Algarve.


Faro airport is around 50 mins drive and we can arrange transfers for you via our management team in Lagos.


Quinta das Palmeiras is on the edge of the medieval town of Lagos with pretty streets and excellent bars and restaurants. The fish market is an interesting place to visit as you walk the few minutes to the town centre. The avenida along the estuary has been modernised to a very high standard and offers upmarket and modern dining. The new Algarve autodrome is around 20 minutes drive away and is 'geared' up to host many of the top class motor racing and motorcycling events in the future.

Further Details:

There are a number of supermarkets within easy walking distance and they all offer a huge range of local foods and fresh fruit and veg as well as the basics and necessities that you will need during your stay. There are numerous banks with ATM machines where you can cash travellers cheques etc. There are many leisure companies on the marina offering trips to see the wild dolphins and to visit the beautiful caves and grottos around the coast at Ponta da Piedade. You can also hire boats for fishing trips for varying lengths of time. There is a small train that takes sightseers around the coast to Ponta da Piedade for a small cost. A recommended trip is the jeep safari that takes you through the Cork Tree Forest and into the Monchique mountains and offers a wealth of information on the people of the Algarve.

  • Notes on accommodation: Apartments are fully air-conditioned/heated. Our management team will meet guests at the apartments and show them around, assist with settling in and explain use of facilities. They are also happy to discuss the local area. A travel cot and high chair are available at no extra cost but must be requested at the time of the booking. We supply Egyptian cotton towels and bedlinen and these are changed on a weekly basis. If you would like them to be changed midweek this must be requested and there will be an extra charge. Secure car parking is provided underground via remote control entrance system and has lifts to all floors. There is a video entry system to the complex for added security. Sun loungers are provided for use by the pool. Furnishings have been provided to a very high standard to provide comfortable surroundings for your stay. Outside: There is a garden area with attractive raised planted flower beds and children's play area with slide, see saw etc. Adult and children's outdoor pools with designated sunbeds, access to the indoor pool with jacuzzi and fully equipped gym. The apartments are positioned close to the lovely Lagos marina which is reached via a footbridge across the estuary.
