This attractive villa is situated in a small exclusive development in a quiet cul de sac offering peaceful surroundings, yet only 10 mins walk from the blue flag beach in Praia da Luz. The upstairs bedrooms offer wonderful sea views, and downstairs is the spacious living room and dining area. From the living area double doors lead onto a large terrace, very pretty garden and private pool with outside dining table and sun loungers. The owner spends much time in the villa and has furnished it to a very high standard for that reason. The bars and restaurants are approximately 5 minutes walk and the historic town of Lagos is an 8 minute drive, where you find many more bars and restaurants, great shopping and Lagos Marina. The Villa offers free WiFi internet to its guests. Long winter lets please send dates for rates.

We have been operating rental properties in the Luz area for the past twelve years. Recently we took over the management of our Vila and have been enjoying the interaction with our clients.

We have recently acquired several properties in the area that we rent out and manage on behalf of other investors. All the properties in our portfolio are kitted out to a high standard and are personally supervised by ourselves.

We often have return clients who say that its a home away from home which is exactly what we aim to achieve.

Notes on accommodation: Village amenities are within walking distance. Outside: Pool terrace has ample sun beds. Italian Emu designer table and chairs to seat 6 plus a further table on the top patio with an additional 4 chairs for Al fresco dining. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: A full set of towels are provided plus we also have pool towels free of charge the maid does a full clean on saturdays. Pool clean and garden service once a week. Other: We offer free inter net service with wifi router. We have a local MEO cable system which has English channels plus we have a TV magic box that received most UK and European stations via the internet.

Beautiful, well kept and well equipped. Lovely gardens also well maintained.

All the family loved the villa. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Lots of space on terrace and in garden. Bedrooms good size and two good bathrooms. Lovely kitchen and dining area. Washing area at side of villa - very useful.

Luz is a beautiful place with some nice restaurants and Lagos 15 minute drive away.

Beautifully maintained villa - great aspect, location and one I would happilly recommend.

Met by the owner at the start of our stay , nothing was too much trouble. Villa well laid out over two floors, lovely detail , furniture and fittings. Comfortable bedrooms and living area. Private pool was well maintained and clean. Proximity to village centre was good- less than a 10minute walk- but quiet and private as well. Village had a nice selection of restaurants and bars , generally not too expensive. It was our first visit to Portugal and would like to revisit.

Beautiful villa, lovely owner, great welcome pack!

Lovely clean well equipped villa. Great TV set up for kids. Lovely owner and thoughtful welcome pack. Would highly recommend. Nice travel cot and high chair. Love Luz and if we visit again we'd definitely stay here.

Amazing villa

I have to say that all of the previous 5 star reviews are spot-on.

The villa is very well presented, clean, well-maintained and with everything you could need for your stay (in fact far too much to list here !).

The owner (Gregor) was very helpful during the booking process and was there to welcome us upon our arrival with a glass of bucks fizz. There was also a welcome pack with all the essentials. He explained to us everything we needed to know about the villa and resort without being too intrusive.

Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing as always

We absolutely love this villa this was our 3rd visit and once again everything was perfect, on our last visit Colin had said to Gregor that the thing that would make it perfection was a beer butler, on our arrival this time a porcelain butler we named Bernie was waiting on the table with a bottle or beer and a bottle of wine and a welcome pack in the fridge this is typical of Gregor he always goes the extra mile to make you feel very welcome

Looking to our 4th visit next year.

Coast/Beach:

Praia da Luz is arguably one of the prettiest beaches in the Western Algarve, sporting the European blue flag. East are picturesque rocky coves and the long sandy crescent of Meia Praia at Lagos, within 10 minutes drive. 15 minutes West are the resort beaches of Burgau and Salema, and further again are a multitude of beaches frequented by surfers. Spectacular and less busy but not so safe for small children.

Travel:

Faro is the nearest airport at only a 1 hour drive away.

Further Details:

The villa is well placed and within walking distance to all village amenities which include post office, bank, cash dispensing machines, several supermarkets, pharmacy, English-speaking doctors surgery and dentist.

Zoomarine dolphin park and Slide and Splash water park provide coach transport from Luz. Anglican church services are held on Sunday in the local church. Near to the villa is the Oceanico resort which has spa, gym, and indoor pool facilities. There are two water-sport centres on the beach providing everything from banana boat rides, to sailing lessons, to fishing excursions.

From Lagos you can try parasailing, deep-sea fishing, dolphin safari, or visit the grottos by fishing boat. There are several surf centres offering day trips to wherever the waves are best on the day, wetsuits, equipment and instruction as required. Luz can offer truly international cuisine in a wide choice of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and occasions. Many are family friendly and also offer a takeaway service.

For a change of scene we recommend an evening out in the historic town of Lagos. The 8 minute taxi ride is inexpensive - let us book for you and just sit back and enjoy the local wines.

Booking Notes:
Periods may be held on option for up to 2 days. A 20% reservation deposit is required to confirm a booking, with the balance of payment falling due 2 months before the start date of the rental period.

Changeover Day:
Rentals are by the week and changeover day is Saturday during the summer season. Winter lets may commence any day of the week and are charged per day with a minimum stay of 5 days. Entry is after 2pm on arrival day and exit by 10am on departure.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. We accept payments in Euros and United States Dollars please ask for prices depending on exchange rates of the day.

We require a 20% deposit on the full amount to confirm a reservation. Thereafter, the balance to be paid a full two months before the date of arrival.

Please ask for competitive rates for winter long lets. Winter season from mid October to mid April.
