Coto del Golf has the enviable position of being a first floor frontline apartment facing south, with stunning uninterrupted views across the North golf course. It has a very large private terrace with its own pool, al fresco dining area, barbeque and sun loungers, the ideal location for all day sunshine and relaxation. The interior is extremely light and spacious, has three very large bedrooms all with their own luxurious en-suite rooms, air conditioning, central heating, under floor heating to the kitchen and bathrooms. It is one of La Manga Clubs’ most recent and sought after developments, with no expense spared, using beautiful marble flooring and tiling, with quality materials and fixtures and fittings throughout. It has its own covered dedicated parking area and is situated within a gated development, therefore ensuring a high degree of security. The area is blessed with a Mediterranean climate with more than 300 days sunshine, making it an ideal destination all year round.

About the Owner

We live in a secluded farm house within Exmoor National Park, with numerous horses and dogs, and greatly enjoy the outdoor life. We purchased this apartment in the 5*La Manga Club to enable us to enjoy a little sunshine and luxury not too far from home! Living in the heart of Exmoor, we are not blessed with the best climate! so it is ideal to have almost guaranteed sunshine within a 2.5 hour plane journey. We now feel very privileged to have the best of both worlds, having peace and tranquility, in top class surroundings in both England and Spain. We hope you too will enjoy and be as enthusiastic as we and many others are about this beautiful apartment and its' surroundings.

We had a really wonderful holiday and loved the apartment. It really did exceed our expectations. With 6 of us there, there was so much space and we particularly welcomed the three en suites .

Superb Apartment

This is an outstanding apartment which fully catered for our needs. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable with each room having its own en-suite.

As a family, my son is 9 and my daughter is 16, we found that the apartment and facilities catered for their every need, football and golf training for my son and the peace and quiet to sunbathe and study for my daughter. The added bonus of having our own pool was excellent.

For families who are active the facilities in La Manga are first class.

Ruth and Peter Turner were only too happy to help and support us with queries we had (which were few) as the description of the apartment and facilities were thorough.

Whilst a car is necessary we found that you could walk from the apartment to the centre easily and took 20 minutes.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone, families and friends and we will certainly be booking again.

Coto del Golf June 2015

Fantastic apartment, light and airy and very nicely decorated and furnished. The terrace and pool were a delight being much needed in the heat. We had breakfast every day under the awning and evening drinks looking out over the golf course.

In all, we had a marvellous stay and we will definitely be booking again for another complete chill out next year. I can thoroughly recommend Peter and Ruth's holiday home and their completely professional service and attention to detail. Thank you again.

Lovely Apartment

Great stay in a luxurious apartment - we particularly enjoyed the sunny terrace with views over the North Course at La Manga.

Located in a very safe community with good access to a variety of restaurants on site at La Manga. We would definitely recommend to others and we hope to return again in the future.

La Manga

We have been going to La Manga for twenty years or so it's a great back up plan if we don't get a summer here.

This holiday was no exception wall to wall sunshine 25 degrees everyday

The El Coto Apartment was exceptional on the edge of the resort overlooking the North golf course sun in the patio. all day and with a heated infinity pool just to dip in when you please.great first thing in the morning to watch the sun come up.

The MarMenor agency was easy to find and as we arrived on a Sunday are keys and direction we waiting in a secure place.

Very easy and helpful.

The apartment didn't dissapoint very spacious clean and had everything we needed .

It had sports rights so we played golf everyday at a reduced rate.

It had sky sports which pleased my husband no end.

The people are very friendly in La Manga we met couples who like us have been going there for many years and couples who lived not far on the la manga Strip.

The Resturants available suit all taste

The North and West golf Club houses do a mean Buger and A lovely goats cheese salad washed down with a beer for 20 euros

Portman is a good local attraction with a walk to see the old guns worth a visit

This holiday is great for families and couples as there is so much choice what ever your taste or sport.

The apartment has 3 large double bedrooms with en suite plenty of room for two families

This is one we shall defiantly return to.

The owners were extremely helpful the holiday went without a hitch a good time was had by all

Marvellous Villa

Marvellous Villa

The reviews of this villa are spot on and many thanks to Peter and Ruth, the owners, with all the advance information. Even having been in la Manga before, the information on restaurants, especially off the resort was incredibly useful. The pictures are accurate and once there it seems even more spacious. Having an en-suite for each bedroom is a luxury and makes the layout seem very well thought out. The pool on the terrace is perfect, our 10-year-old son was in it frequently! The terrace itself has amazing views out over the North course and the sunsets are beautiful. A gas BBQ was a plus as we could get dinner ready very quickly. We remarked on how clean the BBQ (as well as everything else) was, as we’ve sometimes not found this the case in other holiday villas. We remarked on how well equipped and decorated the villa is and we can see it has thought put into it and that the owners think of it as a home. (We especially liked the photograph of what we imagine is a well loved family pet). There are so many things to do in this area our favourites were Cartagena, (We had two full days there using the €18 ticket that given you access to all the Roman Historic buildings, an open top bus tour and a boat tour of the bay) Cabo de Palos, the various sports (for younger golfers the 9 hole municipal course in Torre Pacheco was excellent and not that easy!) on site and off were many. Agree with others a car necessary, but as you can tell we ventured further away and a car definitely a must for us.

Wonderful Villa

I would just like to say thank you to Ruth and Peter for providing us with a lovely apartment for our holiday last month. The pictures on the website do not do the apartment justice, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. My children loved the pool and spent every spare minute in it and the vast terrace area was a great place to eat and relax on. Located in very quiet area we rarely heard anyone else during the day let alone at night allowing us to sleep peacefully which only added to our enjoyment. The contact that we had with Ruth and Peter in booking the apartment was alway professional, yet friendly and all in all we couldn't have wished for a better booking process which led to a fantastic holiday. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay in a peaceful, beautiful apartment only 5 mins drive form the hustle and bustle of the centre of La Manga Club.

Location

From the Owner

It is both a stunning and beautiful location which has not been spoilt by over development. It is very peaceful, yet easily accessible from both Murcia and Alicante airports. The surrounding areas too are quiet and not over populated.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The coast and small beach is situated about 3.5km. A number of other beaches in the area are within 10-15 mins drive.

Travel:

Murcia airport is 25mins drive from the apartment. Alicante is about 1 hour. A car is recommended, although it is possible to walk to a number of attractions (within a 2 mile radius).

Distances:

The nearest village of Los Belones is a 5 min drive, 10mins to the fishing village of Cabo De Palos, with numerous water-side restaurants, and within 20 mins are Cartegena town, La Manga strip and many other points of interest.

Further Details:

The area immediately surrounding our apartment is stunning with beautiful mountain views to the rear and the northern golf course to the front. Within walking distance are the La Manga Club hotel which is a convenient meeting place, or a short drive away are shops, cafes and restaurants of just about any description to suit all tastes. Take a short car ride to Cabo De Palos and see the local fishing boats and wander the streets with their lovely and intriguing shops, local fish markets, and end up for lunch or dinner beside the water in one of many superb restaurants (many specializing in sea food). The more adventurous may take a drive / walk down the famous La Manga strip and explore the beaches and facilities on offer, hopefully in glorious sunshine!!
