Mountain View, is a very spacious 2 bedroom, nicely furnished detached bungalow-style villa, with private dining terrace. The bedrooms sleep 4 people comfortably with one King-sized double bed and one twin bedded room, although an extra child's bed or cot may be added to accommodate families of 5 if required. The bathroom is spacious with double walk-in power shower. The lounge area has air-conditioning/heating and a television on which DVD's can be played. The kitchen/diner is well equipped for self catering and has a two ring hob, microwave oven, separate water cooler and outdoor BBQ. We have a swimming pool and laundry room on site and each villa has information books/leaflets and a selection of DVDs.
Great for holidays with friends and family,our 3 villas lend themselves to be the perfect place to enjoy time together. We offer a great location as Camlibel Village is in an up and coming area that still retains its true Cypriot charm. In the village we have a typical Cypriot restaurant, several shops, internet coffee shop and local ice cream cafe to name just a few of the many amenities. The Mavi Kosk Museum, St Pantelimon Monastery and The St Hilarion Vineyard are all worth a visit. For those that would like a more active holiday, there are way-marked walking and biking trails on the doorstep and there is also an hourly bus service from the village centre to the busy Harbour town of Kyrenia. However, we do recommend a hire car to fully explore the island and to make your local shopping easier in the heat of the sun!
We...Richard and Dilys North first came to North Cyprus in 2004 and fell in love with the rural village of Camilbel. We bought a field there and have gone on to develop the site until it is now a quiet retreat containing a main house with a separate flat above and and three bungalow style villas which are available for guests to let. There is also a swimming pool available for guests to use and large paddock area and gardens to explore, our site has boundary walls and hedging making it a secure and private site for families. We often stay in the main house for extended periods now we are semi-retired and love returning as often as we can. Our family also enjoy visiting, especially our daughter Amy and her husband Richard who lived in Camlibel from 2008 until quite recently and love to return to the village where they have made many friends.

Our daughter Amy was the first to go on holiday to Northern Cyprus, as her husband-to-be (at that time) had his parents already retired and living there...She told us how beautiful and unspoilt the island was and so we visited for ourselves! Our land was purchased with a view to building holiday accommodation in a rural setting. Within a week we fell in love with the idyllic setting of the field we bought in Camlibel. We saw its wonderful potential as a fantastic location for walking, which we enjoy in the beautiful pine forests, just a short step away. We also found close by, that there is a picturesque reservoir surrounded by mountains, ideal for quiet rural holidays. We certainly have no regrets about choosing Camlibel as our holiday retreat.
We enjoy staying in Camlibel because, although the whole island is renowned for its beautiful weather, being 825ft above sea level, it enjoys a particularly pleasant climate with little humidity. The walking in the area particularly appeals to us, as there are pine forests to walk straight into from our site and many way-marked trails around the reservoir area opposite the village. We have come to know many of the local people who are most friendly and welcome visitors to their way of life. The local shepherd rides his donkey, as he herds his sheep past the villas daily. So if you feel you’d enjoy a quieter holiday, walking or just relaxing around the pool and enjoying village life in our typical, Cypriot village come and try!

A 20% deposit is required with reservations and the remainder must be paid by cheque or directly into our bank account no later that 6 weeks before departure. For booking and further information please contact the owners. Prices are based on a 2 person occupancy and an additional £10 per person per week will be needed for a 3-4 person (over 5 years) booking.

We think our prices are very competitive for the quality of accommodation we are offering. One of our guests commented that she wondered what was going to be wrong as the prices are so low! We can assure all our guests that the prices are low to tempt you to try and for no other reason!

Fantastic well equipped property, very comfortable. Peaceful spacious location with lovely pool. Walking distance to unspoilt village, stunning ruined monastery and great children's playground with outdoor gym. Short drive to lovely beach, idyllic swimming pool, villages, mountains, shopping. Something for everyone in Northern Cyprus.
