A luxury high end and spacious ground floor garden apartment with large private terrace and open views over Lake Tuzla and the distant hills.

Well situated in an excellent location this upmarket apartment has easy access to all excellent on-site amenities and is furnished to a high standard with mosquito screens fitted to the windows and doors for your additional comfort.

You can approach the apartment on one level, it is one of the very few apartments in the resort that gives easy access to anyone with walking difficulty.

From the entrance hall, you can reach all the rooms. Both bedrooms have a mirror, bedside table and lamp, carpets, ample wardrobe space including shelves, coat hangers and hair dryer. The main bedroom has a safe in the wardrobe. Personal towels and pool towels are provided.


Very well planned with a granite worktop and well stocked with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. No need to worry about running out before you have filled the dishwasher. Very large fridge freezer, bin, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, electric hob and oven.

The dining area has table and chairs for six, a display wall unit on which the television sits and which has ample drawer space for your use. In one drawer you will find games to help keep the family amused.

The lounge area has a corner seating area which can be converted to either a single or double bed, a coffee table and a chest of drawers/cupboard for use by the guests who are sleeping in the lounge area.

The terrace is reached from the lounge and also from the main bedroom and has a table and seating for six and a portable BBQ.

This premier 5* and well-maintained resorts of Turquoise, Royal Heights & Flamingo offers a private beach, multiple pools and many on-site sports and recreational facilities. Airport 15 minutes. Bodrum Town 30 minutes.

For those wishing to remain on site and make full use of the many facilities, there is plenty to do.

There is an on-site mini-market, a nearby supermarket just a short walk away. If you want to eat out there are several very good restaurants and bars nearby. We particularly recommend the restaurants in the little fishing villages of Guvercinlik and the nearer Bogazici, both a short bus trip away.

Both on-site and nearby car hire is available for the more adventurous to explore the little villages and small towns set in lovely countryside or on the coast within easy reach. Or search out the many places of historical interest off the beaten track by the sea or in the hills. This is something that we love to do.

We also recommend tours to places of antiquity along the Aegean coast such as Troy and Ephesus. Shop around for the best deals.

This is a beautiful part of Turkey favoured by many, including discerning Turkish holiday makers. There are many attractions to entice you, whatever your tastes and this lovely, spacious apartment is a fine choice in which to base your holiday.

About Regina & Philip Kay

The formative years of my wife and I were spent in the South Yorkshire steel town of Sheffield where we both met in our late teens.

We both briefly worked in the steel industry, my wife in offices and I as a technician in specialist high speed steels. When the industry began to contract due to cheap foreign competition, we both eventually found employment as local government officers before starting our family.

My wife took maternity leave when our first son was born and then re-trained as a self employed chiropodist when our second son arrived.

We moved from our first home to a home on the edge of the Peak District of central England. This is a beautiful location and our boys enjoyed a happy, healthy and carefree childhood and we spent a lot of time as a family walking the hills and dales of the Peak District with like minded friends.

In my early fifties I took early retirement from the local authority and became a self employed acupuncturist and, with our boys now in work, we travelled extensively around the world for many years.

Eventually, having taken full retirement and having discovered the wonders and beauty of the Bodrum region of Turkey, we decided to find a property there that we

share with our family.

We have fallen in love with the Bodrum peninsula, its people and wonderful places, the culture and the pace of life and we invite you all to come and enjoy this lovely environment.

Why Regina & Philip Kay chose Turkey

Having enjoyed several holidays in this region we decided to buy an apartment here that would be suitable for us and for our family and friends to enjoy.

After a careful search we bought this apartment off plan on a site being developed by an international building company.

For us it is ideal. It is a beautiful location on a hillside with lake views and with the Aegean ocean just over the hill behind. The sunsets are beautiful.

The spacious, high end 2 bed/2 bath apartment is ideal for families and can sleep four very comfortably and up to six if required. The spacious terrace has tables and chairs so meals can be eaten al-fresco and there is a barbecue facility also.

This well maintained and thoughtfully planned site has many excellent facilities so it is ideal for those wishing to enjoy its facilities to the full. There are evening entertainments and there are on-site buses and also local buses to transport you to all the nearby bars and restaurants and into the vibrant, colourful and cosmopolitan city of Bodrum with its castle, bazaar and marina.

We enjoy exploring the local countryside where the small farming villages provide the occasional little gem of a coffee shop, store or a carpet weaving co-operative.

Bodrum International Airport is only 15 minutes away and beyond is the larger town of Milas. This is a working town and well worth exploring for its variety of restaurants, cafe's, shops, large weekly market and some very interesting history.

What makes this apartment unique

This well designed, high end and spacious two bed, two bathroom, one en-suite, apartment is in one of the best locations and development on this part of the Aegean coast. Turquoise holiday village is on an attractive hillside with views of Lake Tuzla and the distant hills towards central Turkey and with the sparkling blue Aegean sea just over the hill behind.

You can enjoy the sun loungers in the garden of the apartment, and, if you prefer to enjoy lounging by the pool and its bar and restaurant and pampering facilities, plus games and night time entertainment, then you will love all these quality facilities too.

In addition, the two adjacent sister developments of Flamingo Country Club and Royal Heights have similar provisions.

At the beach there are loungers and sun umbrella's, a cafe and bar and there is a pier for water sports or sun lounging too.

The two local fishing villages have excellent waterside fish restaurants in lovely settings and they have weekly markets.

There are regular and cheap buses to Bodrum, Milas, Mumcular and some of the local farming villages.

The Bodrum International Airport is only fifteen minutes away and car hire is available on site for exploring the surrounding areas.

With all this in mind and for your particular enjoyment, we have lovingly put together our portfolio of properties in two great locations, Gumusluk and Tuzla. Furnished to a high specification, we feel sure that they will provide you with affordable holidays to remember in this beautiful and beguiling region where there is so much to see and do. Lovely apartment with stunning views

We stayed in Garnet 21 for 2 weeks in May 2013 and were very pleased with the standard of the apartment. It is spacious and comfortable with a lovely terrace with stunning views overlooking the Lake and mountains, a lovely place to eat breakfast and enjoy a lazy lunch or evening meal. The apartment is well appointed and has every amenity for a relaxing holiday. The apartment has a private garden with plenty of room for relaxing with loungers and the shared pool can be viewed from the garden fence on the level below. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk and a small shop on site. Children are well catered for with a small waterpark and crazy golf and there are tennis courts and a gym for adults plus a larger pool and restaurant on site. A car is not essential as there is a regular bus into Bodrum (40minutes) but there are so many lovely places to see close by we would recommend hiring one.

Fantastic apartment on a great site

Firstly a big thank you to Philip and Regina for providing such a fantastic apartment on a great site !

We, a family of four, stayed in Garnet 55 in August 2013 for two weeks, and had a brilliant holiday, the apartment has everything a family could need and is like a home from home. We all felt really comfortable, slept well and enjoyed the outside area with fantastic views. Furnished to a high standard with two bathrooms, ample space and storage, made it a pleasure to stay here. Also with towels, beach towels and linen included meant taking less items in our luggage and with the washing machine, less clothes also ! The huge fridge had plenty of room for all our drinks and food and the dishwasher made it a breeze tidying up after a meal, not to mention the amount of glasses kids get through in one day !

The nearest swimming pool is only a twenty second walk from the apartment and was quiet most of the time ! The site itself is on the side of hill but this did not present us any problems as taking the steps and walkways to the main pool and restaurant only took about five minuets and the free shuttle around the site and sister sites made it even easier !

The main pool and restaurant area was a great place to relax, eat and drink, day and night with very friendly, attentive staff and excellent food at reasonable prices, we were paying between ?30-?40 for a good evening meal with a few drinks for a family of four. At the main area the small supermarket stocked your daily needs although the Migros supermarket at the entrance to the site provides more choice and better value for food shopping.

Tours can be booked with Attach? tours by the main pool, we went on a boat trip which was about ?16 each and included a BBQ chicken or fish lunch and a whole day on the boat with four stops for jumping of the boat and swimming in the clear blue waters ! We also went to the water park which is far better than the pictures show, the food in the water park is very good value at ?15-?20 for a hot lunch with chips and a drink for the four of us !

Off site there are plenty of other restaurants easily accessible, with Sunset Caf?/bar being the closest and serving great food at similar prices to Turquoise but with stunning views and a games/pool room for children, recommend booking a table to guarantee a good spot ! as it can be quite busy with tourists and locals alike.

I also left a card for "Hassans" Oh! Apparently I've run out of letters go to Trip advisor for the rest!
