Penthouse in Moraira , Costa Blanca - Beautiful location, 30 seconds to the beach and in the village centre

This gorgeous penthouse is extravagantly furnished and equipped. Large outdoor terrace with lots of seating, motorized sun-blinds, terrace shower and wonderful sea/beach views. Close to the blue-flag beach, with every amenity of this up-scale village to hand - marina, bars, shops and restaurants. We offer a new comprehensive satellite TV system including sports and movies, (including BBC & ITV. You should however be aware that we cannot gaurantee a good signal at all times, in this part of Spain we are not supposed to receive satellite tv. Additionally we have an audio system to all rooms and terrace. A docking station for your iPod/iPhone is installed so that you can hear your music in any room or terrace. Each bedroom has it's own air-conditioning unit; In the summer months the heat at night can disturb your sleep. Not now! The cool air blown by these top of the range units will ensure a restful night! A log-burning stove will keep you warm and cosy in those cooler winter months.

Adjustable sunbeds with cushions. Motorized sun blinds. State of the art 'Outback' gas BBQ comes with a full range of tools, for those al fresco outside dining experiences as the sun sets. Outside hot and cold shower, useful having been on the beach or just to cool off after a while in the hot sun. Audio to the terrace speakers. An attractive water feature adds to those essential gin & tonic moments! Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels (incl beach) included for the week. The house is cleaned and prepared to the most exacting standard for your indivually taloured stay. Extra cleaning by arrangement. A surcharge of 25 euros is payable for arrivals after 7pm.

A little piece of heaven!

We have been visiting Moraira for almost 25 years and this is easily the best place we have stayed in the town. The apartment is very comfortable with everything you could need for a perfect holiday and the owner is very easily contacted if needed plus there is someone local who is also very helpful if there are any problems - not that we had any. The highlight has to be the huge balcony where you can sit in the sun or shade thanks to the electric awnings as well as eat al fresco. There is even a barbecue should you wish to do a little rooftop cooking! Superb views to the sea and across to Calpe and right in the town centre so everything is at hand. Even though it is in the centre it is very quiet at night as Moraira doesn't have the nightclub/ late night drinking culture. A perfect spot for a perfect holiday!

La Perla was home from home as promised

We had perfect weather. The apartment was stunning with everything that you require and more. We made breakfast and the occasional lunch but you could host a dinner party with all the equipment available. Moraira is a perfect get away, stunning beach and excellent restaurants with a special mention to Javi's, where we dined several times for very little money.

Superb standard.

I was knocked out by the high standard. Everything is so fantastic. Most evenings I plied my wife with wine as we listened to the gentle fall of waves on the beach. I cooked fish on the bbq, served it with fresh salad and new potatoes, it just doesn't get much better than that. We'll be going again and again.

How to have a very nice time in Spain

1. Book this fabulous and very well-equipped apartment (our favourite of all the properties booked through Owners Direct so far)

2. Explore all the marvellous restaurant choices Moraira has to offer and stuff yourselves stupid for a week, or more, depending on preference

3. Return to apartment, lie on nice terrace and have a little sleep until it's time to to go home again. Easy!

Classy holiday week in a charming town

The apartment is very conveniently situated at close distance to beach, shops and restaurants.

The terrace offers nice views and plenty of outdoor space for dining and relaxing.

Decoration and furniture are classy and well chosen.

We have spent a very enjoyable week and highly recommend discovering Moraira and the region (Calpe, Benissa, Javea).

All communication and arrangements with the owner were easy and well handled. At arrival Jodi received us with useful information and tips.

Everything you need is on your doorstep. The apartment is situated in the village centre, but in a quiet location. Within 30 seconds from the apartment, coffee and freshly baked croissants are at hand. Or perhaps a cooling beer before dinner? You choose!!

Moraira attracts and captivates the discerning holiday maker. It's roots as a fishing village have not changed. Fishermen still go out each day, bringing home a fresh catch which is sold by auction in the local traditional market, one of the best and most authentic in the Costa Blanca region.

Moraira retains it's sleepy, fishing, proud village charm and beauty. Dotted with pine trees, bejewelled with sandy and rocky coves along it's romantic coastline - it uses the beautiful blue Mediterranean as it's canvas and the breathtaking mountains as it's backdrop. Modern additions to this quaint village have been thoughtfully planned so that high rise structures are not allowed and therefore do not spoil the natural beauty.

Moraira has a wide range of restaurants and bars and is a culinary destination with 3 of it's restaurants listed in Gourmetour (The Spanish Michelin guide), Casa Pepe, La Dauphin and La Sort. You will feel "at home" in Moraira if you love quality food; English, Italian, French, German, Dutch, Greek, and of course Spanish cuisine all in this wonderful, warm village, just a 1 minute walk from your luxury penthouse.

Also, there are some wonderful restaurants and bars that overlook the beautiful marina (The Moraira Club Nautico), which has become one of the main attractions of the area and was one of the 1st to achieve the Blue Flag distinction for the cleanest shorelines in Europe.

The village comes alive in the evenings and has 2 night clubs. Several festivals are displayed with passion that only the Spanish know how to embrace, with live acts through the streets and dancing on the promenade with fireworks that could only be equalled by Walt Disney. It's truly smashing in every way.

Booking Notes:
Email or call with your enquiries. As the owner, I am happy to deal with your questions anytime. A deposit of 30% is payable at the time of booking. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to the week booked, together with a £250 damage / breakage deposit. This will be returned to you within 1 week after inspection and check-out. Should it suit you to arrive after 1730 hrs, please make special arrangements with our check-in team; There will be an additional charge of €25 payable on arrival.

Changeover Day:
Any day by arrangement. Electricity, aircon, heating and water is included within the price. €60 for final clean plus €15 per person laundry pack is payable to Jodi who will greet you on arrival. Any additions e.g. shopping for provisions for arrival, logs, extra cleaning, etc by arrangement with Jodi.
