Front line view to the sea and Gomera.In an exclusive area, ground floor, facing swimming pool ( pool is not heated ) and gardens and the sea. Large lounge/dining room, Dining table and chairs can be used either inside or outside on the terrace

. Extended sun awning for maximum shade. Fully fitted kitchen. LCD 32" TV, with English programmes, satellite, DVD player. Wifi is not in the apartment but in all bars and restaurants in the village. Rear courtyard with washing machine and drying area

Notes on accommodation: The apartment has been refurbished to a high standard, rewired and a new electric boiler installed. For your safety there are no gas appliances in the apartment. The apartment does not have aircon, but as it is on the ground floor with windows and doors to the front and rear there is always a breeze through the apartment. Whilst Los Gigantes is known for being Safe Area, there is always the one off incident, and with this in mind the the Courtyard area has been fitted with a Security Door and railing, so they the door from the first bedroom can be left open if required. Outside: The gate to the largest swimming pool and children's pool is on the ground floor. The entrance to the swimming pool and gardens is 10 yards along from the apartment. The second pool is up on a higher level, nice for a quiet read and views to the sea, beach and cliffs. The marina and beach are 5 mins walk. It is possible to book a boat trip to see the whales and dolphins at the entrance gate to the apartment. Car hire and coach trips can be booked across the road from the apartment. There is a very good bus service which goes from the tennis courts in the village by Tipsy Terrace, to other parts of the island. Utility Room: Courtyard to the rear with washing machine and drying area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided. Beach towels are not included in the rental. Other: Large terrace with sun awning and outside lights. 2 lounger chairs and 2 sun loungers which can be used around the pool, but please bring back to the apartment before you leave.

Los Gigantes was just what we wanted. Plenty of warm sun, not too busy, lots to do.

Owner's Response: So pleased that you had a lovely Holiday and enjoyed staying in my apartment. I do have wifi in the pipeline, but it takes forever to install, bit like BT in UK but worse

Car: not necessary


The beach and Marina are 3 mins walk from the apartment.The Marina offers boat trips to see the Whale's and Dolphine's fishing trips, diving, snorkeling, Jet Skies and a trip to Masca for swimming in the small bay which is only accessible by boat.the beach has bars close by, it also now has beds and umbrellas to rent. Very nice restaurants along the harbour walk with views over the moored boats and out to sea


Reina Sophia Airport is around 40 mins drive. If you are hiring a car, you get the best prices if you collect from and return to the airport. El Mar taxi buses, offer very good return rates to and from the airport and can be booked on line. Taxis from the airport to Los Gigantes are around 50/60 euros one way.


The nearest villages are Puerto Santiago/ Playa del a Arena, Alcala and San Juan, the furthest about 10 mins by car or Taxi. Taxis are good value, rank is next to the Los Gigantes Hotel.

Parking is available in the Avda Jose Gonzalez Forte, or Calla Tamara The supermarkets, restaurants, bars, shops are a 2 min walk from the apartment. There is not WIFI in the apartment but is available free in the Cafes and Bars. The village of Los Gigantes is one of the most prettiest places on the island. With its own micro climate has the highest temperatures. Tenerife has all year sun. It is the nearest sunspot from the UK with average winter temperature of 68F plus

making it a very popular destination. Christmas and New Year are very lively and a good time to visit. Carnival time in Los Gigantes is usually early February. In the village there are restaurants to suit all budgets.the hotel has a lovely terrace open to couples (no children)serving lovely cocktails to have while watching the beautiful sunsets. The Tennis Club (Tipsy terrace) serves very good food Lunch and Dinner. Mini Golf, Tennis Courts for hire

Oasis Complex, ideal for a coffee and reading the paper on the terrace over the sea. For lunch, the small restaurant is excellent, and very

friendly. The best and cheapest supermarkets are Lidl /Mercadona, in Puerto Santiago/Playa Arena. Banks and cash machines in the village. Taxi rank is next to the hotel.

Changeover Day:
Change over is flexiable. Occasionally we have same day change over and would ask guests to vacate before 11am and arrive after 3pm to allow for cleaning.
Luggage can be left in the apartment with prior arrangement
